  Hire this amazing team!!!

  My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Kyle and Mel from Chair 7 on our wedding day. First off I have to say how amazing they are to work with. They truly exceeded all of our expectations. Their attention to detail and creativity truly captured the essence of our wedding day. Being a creative myself, I was very picky on who I picked to work with but I have to say their professionalism, enthusiasm, and seamless collaboration made the entire experience enjoyable. Every moment of the day was captured and beautifully edited, creating a timeless keepsake that we'll cherish forever. The video they created is so amazing that every time I watch it, it brings me to tears! Love being able to see our day anytime I want! I highly recommend this extremely talented and kind duo for anyone seeking a videography team that goes above and beyond to make your special day unforgettable. You won’t be disappointed, I promise you!!

  Love Chair7 Films!

  Kyle was the videographer at our wedding, and he did an amazing job. The videos turned out so well - watching them back looks like we were part of a movie. Kyle was super responsive, worked with us on a package that fit our needs/budget, and overall, he was awesome to work with.

  Highly recommend! Professional and Personal

  Kyle and Mel were fantastic! Being a destination wedding, we were a little worried about picking a videographer without the experience of getting to be in person with them first. It was obvious online that they made an extremely and professional product which led us to chose Chair7. In getting to work with them leading up to the wedding and having them there the day of, any worry or concern was gone immediately. They were professional, personal, engaging and made us the most beautiful wedding video we could have ever asked for. We are looking forward to enjoying it many years to come. Cannot recommend highly enough!

  magical and professional

  Kyle and Mel with Chair7 are literally THE BEST in the field! They make magic and ooze love into their work! They captured EVERY detail and the pure essence of our wedding day. Then they masterfully weaved it all together and created this absolute masterpiece. Everyone who watches it says they feel like they were there and that it is the best wedding video they have ever seen. It’s like something from a movie. When you put so much love and time into creating the perfect day, you want to see how it all came together, relive it over and over, and have it to show your children’s children. Well, that’s exactly what Kyle and Mel do. They gave us the precious gift of being able to relive our wedding day - which is everything you want from your wedding video. I obsess over details like the meaning and timing of words and music. I notice the details like the angle and speed. I care about things like facial expressions and feelings. And they absolutely NAILED it all. I've watched it a million times and still can't find anything I would change - and that's saying something! I could not have done it any better if I had micromanaged the entire thing. It felt SO GOOD knowing that I could just trust them with this. I was nervous about not being able to pick the music but they are truly masters of their craft and picked the perfect sounds to match with the vibes and feelings from our magical day. I was pretty disappointed with my photos so I could not be more grateful to have this treasure. We compared many others in the area and picked them because of their quality films, their competitive packages, and their engaging and positive personalities. We loved being surrounded by their calm and positive energy on our wedding day. When my photographer would try to rush us, they were able to help me slow down and capture the perfect shots. Even in the days leading up to our wedding when I was so stressed out, they were able to help bring me back to what’s important and remind me about why I’m getting married. Thank you so much Kyle and Mel!

  Best videography!

  Kyle and his wife, Melissa, are absolutely amazing! They did such an amazing job with the videography for our wedding. They take their time to get to know you as a couple and discussing what is important to include on your big day. They have great communication and they are so talented. They're also super adventurous and totally up for driving off road/hiking up mountains to get the perfect shots. They captured all of the special moments on our wedding day and we are so thankful for them. We highly recommend Chair7 Films, they are THE BEST!

  Best Wedding Videographer Ever!

  We cannot say enough good things about Kyle and his work. Kyle is the kindest person and goes out of his way to ensure he is capturing every important detail. We did not even know he was there, and we had a tight ceremony on a pier. I don't know how he did it. He then sent our teaser video to us and we were blown away. It looks like it could be a commercial for Tahoe weddings! Every person who has viewed the teaser has said it is the best wedding video they have seen. Kyle does phenomenal work and we were so lucky to have him on our team.

  Kyle and his team were wonderful to work with! Kyle took time to talk with us on several occasions to find out what our likes and dislikes were, by the time our day came around, it felt like he already knew us.   I have been waiting to write this review for Chair7 Films until I had the right words to express how thankful my husband & I are that he was a part of our wedding day. To be honest, I wasn’t planning on having a videographer for our small elopement. I do wedding photography for a living and felt that photos would be all we needed... but I had a gut feeling that I needed to reach out to a few videographers. Introducing - Kyle Matheney from Chair7 Films. We set up a time for a phone call & immediately Jeff & I knew this was a good match for our wedding day. Kyle’s communication and attention to detail throughout the entire process was incredible. He was super attentive & helpful every step of the way. Kyle’s vibe/energy on the wedding day was very calming & helpful. He gave direction when needed, while also letting the day flow naturally. One of the reasons we were hesitant to hire a videographer was because our wedding was so small (6 people) we didn’t want to feel like we had tons of cameras in our faces during our intimate ceremony. When we got the video back, we couldn’t believe all of the different angles & perspectives from our ceremony… we had no idea he was even there, he was a "video ninja”. He was able to capture everything in the most beautiful way. My husband and I have re-watched our video dozens of times already… we can’t imagine not having this beautiful artwork to go back to in the years to come. Thank you Kyle, from the bottom of our hearts - for helping make our wedding day so incredibly special!

I trusted them and they created the most beautiful highlight film that make me feel like I'm there all over again. They also take the time to edit and make the rest of the footage (ceremony, dances, toasts) feel like a movie as well - from multiple angles and such. This is a something I didn't expect but was so pleasantly delighted!

  Kyle at Chair 7 Films absolutely CRUSHED our wedding day. The footage was dynamic and exciting and he captured every moment we would want and even more. The teaser video and the rest of the footage was perfectly synced up to music and brings me to tears every time I watch it. He even posted my sister's maid of honor speech/song on Youtube which got nearly 320,000 views thus far. He knows good Videography! I am a graphic designer and have dabbled into some photography and videography and know that editing is a BEAST. You can tell he pours his heart into editing the videos so even if the final product doesn't get back to you for a few months, the quality is absolutely worth it. 10/10 would recommend. :)

  Hiring Chair7 Films was one of the best investments we made for our wedding! Kyle and his team did an amazing job capturing special moments and all the emotions throughout the day. His talent and keen eye for some great shots gave us a beautiful highlight film. It's something I'll be able to watch that will always bring a smile to my face. Chair7 Films was super easy to work with as Kyle was very responsive to my questions and made sure to ask what I wanted out of the video. We got lots of compliments from friends and family. Now I even wish I had gone with the bigger package deal! I know they worked very hard and were up there pretty much all day (including before the getting ready part) so I appreciate they took the time to get a lot of footage for us. Thank you so much Kyle for everything you did! I'm lucky that I found you the way I did and couldn't be happier with the final result!

  If you are looking for a professional team who will make you feel special and comfortable Chair7 is the way to go! Kyle and Mel were kind and also managed to get amazing footage of our wedding without ever being in the way. They are experts and created a really beautiful video for us to cherish forever!

  Having Kyle and Chair7 Films be a part of our wedding made everything about the day more special. Kyle has a very kind and calm presence that brought a calm to me with the bigger than life emotions I was feeling during the day. It was incredible to have all of the moments of the day captured and it also felt really special to be filmed like we were in a movie. The end result was movie quality and it has been a joy to share with our loved ones.
  
  Overall, the day was surreal in the best way and having an incredible video of everything that transpired is something I will cherish forever. I cannot speak more highly of the job Kyle did and the interactions we had with him throughout. I highly recommend having your wedding captured on film by Chair7 Films!

It was a tall order in a short amount of time. Kyle and his team delivered on every regard. They were very kind and fun to work with through the process and during the day. A little while later, when we received our wedding video delivered to us was truly the best gift and worth the money. Brides, you need a videographer for your wedding. You won't regret it. :)

  I highly recommend Kyle. He was extremely responsive and helpful in all aspects before and after wedding. My husband and I are not local to Tahoe, and while my family has a vacation home in Truckee, we only had a couple of weekends before the wedding that we were in town. Kyle was extremely accommodating and met with us on a weekend (which is rare for people in the wedding world I have noticed) to discuss our vision. He even made an extra stop at our venue and did a full walk-through with us! Both my husband and I are uncomfortable with cameras and being in the spotlight but Kyle made us feel comfortable and was warming to us both! You can tell he really cares for his clients and puts his heart in his films! Our video turned out amazing and included everything we asked for. Definitely recommend Chair7 Films!

  My husband and I always knew that we wanted to hire a company to film our wedding day and we knew that we wanted a video that captured specific moments. We spent quite a bit of time watching videos from other companies and we just weren't able to fall in love. I found the Chair 7 website and watched two videos and emailed my husband the link to check it out. He loved it! We contacted Chair 7 and Kyle responded back very quickly and set up a time to meet. Our meeting with Kyle sealed the deal. He was early to the meeting, incredibly organized, and answered every question that we had. Kyle also shared that he and Melissa had recently gotten married and that they now had an even better understanding of what was important to include in a video. He then asked us to name the top three most important things that we would like for him to capture on the day of our wedding, I am so glad that he asked us this question! On the day of our wedding, Kyle and Melissa arrived early to set up and film the preparation of the wedding. They were so creative with my dress, jewelry, location, bridal party, etc. They were able to capture so many amazing shots of my husband and his groomsmen and family. I honestly didn't even notice Kyle and Melissa during the ceremony but they had multiple set ups filming several different angles. After the ceremony they creatively filmed us in the meadow near our ceremony site, they had me drag my hand through the long grass, which I thought would look silly on film (I was SO WRONG!) It was honestly one of the coolest shots! They continued to film us during dinner and into dancing! I was so grateful to have such a kind, awesome couple to film our day! We got a 15 second video about 1 day after our wedding and it was AMAZING! Probably three months later we received our full package and we both could not believe how stunning it was! Honestly, we would have paid twice what we paid for the video that we recieved (shhh!) :) Book Chair 7! You won't regret it!

From our numerous phone conversations, Skype calls and emails leading up to the wedding, to his friendly, accommodating and non-invasive style on the day-of, Kyle and his team made us feel so comfortable and at ease when it came to the capturing of our big day. With a complex (big) wedding, Kyle and his partner were able to be at two places at the same time, capturing some amazing footage which we were more than thrilled with. They took charge when necessary, getting us in the right places at the right time, but also pretended like they were never even there when the time called for it. Overall we couldn't be happier with the services Kyle and Chair7 provided. Finally, the end result was amazing.   By far the best wedding investment we made throughout our wedding planning. Kyle & Mel are a very sweet couple who were easy to work with, flexible, responsive, professional and very talented. They surprised us with our wedding highlight film Christmas eve so we were able to share with our families. We were so overwhelmed at the creativity they put into our video, they captured our most special moments that we can re-live every time we watch it. They are all about quality and not just trying to take your money, for example, we only paid for a 5-7 minute movie but since they had so much good footage they made our video a little longer to fit it all appropriately. They really care about the satisfaction of their clients over anything. They even went out of their way to accommodate a special surprise that my groom had planned during our ceremony. We are huge fans of Chair 7 Films and highly recommend them to anyone getting married, they are worth every penny and more!!

  Chair 7 Films was AMAZING to work with! Honestly, I was nervous because they were behind the scenes so much at the wedding day, I wasn't sure what they had captured. But when I got my movie and all the footage I was blown away! Yes it was my wedding so I am biased, but I heard from everyone that it was the best wedding video they ever saw and even shared with their friends. It totally passed my expectations. It really gave me a perspective of what they day was like and not just from my view. If you are having any hesitations, don't! Chair 7 is well worth it! Kyle and Melissa were so down to earth and so easy to work with. I was so happy I am trying to figure out how to use them again- ha!

  Chair7 Films shot our wedding video, and I cannot say with enough enthusiasm what a fantastic job they did. Not only are Kyle and Melissa incredibly talented and creative, they are an excellent team to work with. We initially had not budgeted videography for our wedding, but after speaking to several people who all said that it was the best thing to spend money on- I'm so happy we did! It truly was the best money we spent, as it's something we can watch for years to come. We got to relive the day over and over, every time we watch it. After the wedding, when all the excitement dies down, having such a beautiful video to watch is such a present. There are no complaints I could ever make - these two are a dream team!

  I was skeptical about hiring any videographer for our wedding at first because so many wedding videos I have seen in the past, and continue to see, are not good. I'm glad my mother-in-law forced it upon me, and I'm glad our wedding planner, Liane McCombs, provided Chair7's contact information.
  
  Our wedding video is nothing like I have ever seen before. It's phenomenal. Seriously. Every time I show the highlight reel to a new friend or family member they a) cry a little and b) comment on the incredible quality (it looks like a Hollywood movie trailer). Even my brother, who is a 250lb bear of a man with ice water in his veins, can't watch it without getting a little choked up.

When my husband and I met them for the first time they were very friendly and genuinely interested in getting to know us as a couple.
