I bought my dress here. I was kind of worried at first about buying my dress online but when I got it, it was perfect, though I did have to get about 4 inches taken off. Unless you're 5'10, the dresses are a bit long, I should have ordered a petite, and I'm 5'5.
Since my wedding was on a beach I wanted something a little less formal and I found it on Chadwicks.com. We alos got my mother's dress there too!
The pros: My dress arrived very quickly especially for wedding dress standards, it was the perfect size, and the perfect style/color. I also had a coupon so I got a great deal on it.
The cons: Even though the dress was lined you could see through it a little bit and it was too fitting to put a slip under it. One of the flowers on my mother's dress blead in the washer after the wedding.
If you're looking for an inexpensive but elegant gown, go to Chadwicks.com. My dress was $99 plus tax, shipping & handling. The dress I got had a lace-covered bodice and was ivory/cream. It was off-the-shoulder, but there were no "wardrobe malfunctions" on my wedding day, lol. It was easy to buy online and it was shipped directly to my house. Any order is shipped in either a cardboard box or a big plastic mailing envelope of sorts. So you may want to steam the dress or iron it (if the instructions on the tag say it can be ironed). I've ordered other items from Chadwicks.com, however, and they have always been a good vendor.
