The one detail that I cared the most about (other than my husband- of course) in my wedding was my photography. I researched and interviewed countless photographers until I thought I found the right one. Boy was I wrong! I told Chad that I wanted to focus on photojournalistic style pictures. I did tell Chad that I was not interested in any of the traditional family pictures; however, I did not mean that I didn't want a single picture with my father! I opted for the princess package that included a photographer following the bridal party as they got ready. I thought I would get fun pictures that would tell the story of the day. Unfortunately the best pictures out of the bunch were of the groom and the groomsmen- all taken by his assistant. And the disappointments don't end there... I told Chad that the details were very important to me- my shoes were very special and the entire wedding had largely been designed by them so I needed so great detail shots of them. What he took was a dark picture that just happened to have my shoes in it- Gross! Also, I had the most beautiful dress ever so I wanted pictures of the details. What I got was a picture of my dress hanging in a doorway in front of the church's kitchen. No I am not kidding. Who does that? I could have taken better pictures myself! Even though I was greatly disappointed in the pictures, my husband thought there were still good ones and told him we loved the pictures. LIE!!! I hated them. The pictures that are on his website and the ones he showed us in his "studio" and the ones taken at our wedding didn't even look like the same photographer.
So the wedding was over and I had already spent $5000 so I wanted to get my pictures. On numerous occasions we tried to select our pictures on his website that would never save our selections. I can't even remember how many times we picked them. I wanted the picture proofs instead of the proof book, but that didn't happen. It was almost three years since the wedding when the proof book arrived. Now it has been over three years and I still don't have any pictures. Chad is impossible to contact and never responds to emails. Save yourself the heartache- find a better photographer!!!
