We used Celebrity to rent tuxedos for the groom and six groomsmen who all live on the East Coast. Everyone went someplace different to get their measurements taken and we sent Celebrity the information over email. The store manager reviewed our order and, given his experience, asked us to get several of the guys re-measured. They weren't very happy with the request, but I appreciated Celebrity's proactive nature regarding the matter. In the end, I think a few of the tuxedos had to have pieces switched out for different sizes, which wasn't a problem, but definitely go in a few days before your wedding to try on your clothes to make sure everything fits correctly. They don't have the largest selection, but we were able to find a tuxedo style that we liked by viewing their inventory online and it worked out perfectly. My dad went to the store and chose vests and ties with the manager's help. I was extremely skeptical of their choice because the picture online looked terrible, but I was ultimately super satisfied with the entire look. Everyone we worked with on the phone and in the store was really nice. They were always busy though, since people tend to come in to pick up and try on tuxedos in groups, so be prepared to wait.

Loved the tux's we rented for our wedding but we ended up choosing the tux we thought fit best on my husband. He's smaller and shorter than the average guy so we had a hard time finding something that worked well on him. The sales person was trying to tell us which ones he thought would look good but we tried them all and he just looked like he was drowning in them even with the smallest size! I finally found a tux that was more slim fitting and they brought that one in. That fit perfectly. I would think the sales person would have known but he was trying to push the most expensive one in the store. Though I do have to say they did a great job with measurements and they were all very friendly, but they weren't much help with picking the right tux that would look best. We also had an expo discount and apparently they make a donation to a church/temple of our choice. My husband wanted them to make the donation to his dad's church so he called them with the information. They seem to be a bit disorganized (depending on who's working I guess). When I went to pick up the ring bearer's tux a few days before the wedding, they told me they haven't received the address yet. I told them it was called in and they said they don't have it on their computer. Same thing happened when my husband decided on which tux he would be renting. They took down all the information and a few weeks later, we were at Ala Moana and we decided to pop in to confirm that the groomsmen had gone in for their fittings. They said everyone did but we didn't select which tuxes we'd be renting so we had to go through everything again telling them which tuxes we were going with because it wasn't entered into their system. But all in all, it wasn't too big a deal since we did follow up. I'd suggest calling to verify all the info is in their system a few days after just to be sure. Because we did verify with them, we had no problems with our tuxes and got what we asked for without any headaches the week of the wedding.

They have the most helpful and amazing people working there! We had a destination wedding so planning everything was a little more challenging. They were able to work with our groomsmen with last minute adjustments and changes. They were very accommodating and just so friendly!

My husband, who has been in many many weddings, said it was probably the best quality suit he has ever worn from a tux shop!

they try and sell you crap you dont need ..they kind of act like car salesman. prices are quite high and i was surprised. but when all is said and done, not bad cause of location and variety of stuff they have. since they are in a big department store like sears, easy to access and fast in service.

Celebrity Tuxedos was okay. We booked them at a special rate at the Bridal Expo which was a good thing. Also, they have several locations on island which makes it more convenient for everyone. However, the guys went for a fitting about a month before but when they went for the final fitting, several of their tuxes didn't fit at all. My Dad's suit looked horrible-- way too long, way to tight in some places, way too big in some places. It was like it was for someone else! He had to get remeasured and go back the next day, which was the day of our rehearsal. They said they would call us to let us know when his new suit came in but they didn't. After the rehearsal my parents had to rush to the final fitting before the rehearsal dinner and were late. If you are going to go with them, make sure that you leave enough time for measuring mistakes like this because it was STRESSFUL!!!

The only problem we encountered was that the bride's dad chose his tux options from a location different from where the groom made his choices and the information did not synch in the computer.

They had the measurements wrong for every tuxedo rented. If you go with this vendor, I highly recommend picking up the tuxedos as early as possible for time to resize and measure and tailor.

Celebrity Tuxedos handled my husband's tux as well as his groomsmen, my father, and my father-in-law. They were very professional and punctual. They worked with us here in California and out of the five tux's ordered, only one was the wrong size, and that was most likely because of a meters/inches conversion confusion.
