  Chef Charlie provided all the catering for our wedding reception. Starting from his tasting menu to the hectic big day, everything was delicious, spot-on and relatively local for our tastes. We asked for a raw bar, cocktail eats, various specialty main dishes, and homemade pie deserts, and he delivered on everything in a timely manner. Optimistic and professional, we barely had a chance to thank him for truly giving us a memorable culinary experience for our big day

  Chef Charlie was a godsend! From the first time we met he was attentive, kind and energetic. He didn't even bat an eye when I said I was gluten free, had a soy allergy and when we gave him a list of other 'no-no' foods. He welcomed the 'challenge' by saying it was no issue at all and assuring us that he was the man for the job (he really was, he even made us our gluten free 2 tiered cake AND GF breadsticks!!). Not only did he turn our vision for healthy, organic and local food come to life but he was able to pair the wines we were providing with the food he was creating- absolutely incredible. To make the experience even better he used his contacts for our linen rentals and even when there was a last minute mixup (all on my part!) when others may have gotten upset or said fixing it wasn't possible- he calmed ME down by helping me and reaching out to all of his contacts to make sure we had everything we needed and without a hitch. He went above an beyond for us and he truly is a HUGE part of why our wedding was as special, beautiful and fun as we had dreamed. The food was delicious and his service staff were incredible. Our guests were so impressed by the family style food that WE RAN OUT (each table asked for 2nds, 3rds and 4ths!!)! If that isn't a testament to what an incredible chef he is, I don't know what is! Everyone loved his speech and passion for the food and menu he created for us- it meant a lot to my husband and I. I can't say enough amazing things about Chef Charlie. I HIGHLY recommend him for all catering needs, he will NOT disappoint. Thank you again Chef Charlie, you were a pleasure to work with! We will definitely be contacting you in the future for any catering needs we may have!!

  Chef Charlie did an AMAZING job catering our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception! All our guests LOVED the food and the whole experience! We wanted to do a more laid back setting with food stations and Chef Charlie worked up the most incredible menu with tacos, stromboli, salads & more! It was truly an EPIC menu and experience. I would highly recommend Chef Charlie for any event!

  Chef Charlie made the catering portion of our wedding a breeze. We gave him little information about what we wanted and he was able to transform this into a menu that wowed me, my wife and our wedding guests. We anticipated the catering to be one of the more difficult tasks for us, but Chef Charlie handled everything. This was a major stress reliever for my wife and I. We will definitely use and recommend Chef Charlie for any future occasion!

  AMAZING. Chef Charlie was wonderful to work with the entire process; he was respectful of our tight budget and offered creative ways to provide a delicious meal to our guests - his passion for food is very clear. - the food was a major talking point of our wedding!

  We couldn't have found a better caterer. Chef Charlie and his team are amazing. People are still raving about the food, but equally how personable, knowledgeable, and great all his staff were that served the food to our wedding guests. The prices are fantastic, and Chef Charlie was always responsive when we had questions throughout the process. Will only use Chef Charlie for future events!

  Chef Charlie was such a pleasure to work with and was always available for any questions we had leading up to our wedding. We especially appreciated his flexibility with our schedule as we live in Boston but that was never a factor.
  The food was beyond excellent and Charlie tailored the desert options to reflect elements of us (the mini mango cakes we're pretty incredible).
  He has an adorable tasting room in Atascadero where he pulled out all the stops for us. It was such a great experience overall. His team is great, Charlie is super professional and the food is fantastic.
  We'd highly recommend Chef Charlie to anyone looking for a catering service in the Central Coast.

  We LOVE Chef Charlie! His food is amazing and he is great to work with. We feel like he is part of our family. He catered our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Him and his staff are very professional and he is very passionate about his food. We will definitely use him in the future!

  Ummmmm... wow!!!! Chef Charlie catered our wedding and honestly it was PERFECT! Two weeks later and my husband and I are still getting emails and texts raving about the food. Chef Charlie was so great to work with, he truly tailors his menu in such an artistic way and makes it a reflection of you. He did our cocktail hour with cheese and charcuterie and an oyster station. He also supplied the bartenders. For dinner we went family style and the plating was beautiful. The food.. oh my that food, DELICIOUS! The service was great and his staff never missed a beat. I just wish he had a restaurant so I could eat his food more often. If you are a foodie and want the food at your wedding to be memorable, then you MUST have Chef Charlie cater it.

  "Chef Charlie is a legend" to quote one of our wedding guests. That is not hyperbole. The man is truly legendary. His food is akin to an out of body experience. His charm and humor are incomparable. We have never met someone more passionate about his job and food than this man. He has become a part of the family and we are glad to have had him at our special day.

  If you want the most amazing food you will ever have at a wedding, and quite frankly the most amazing meal period, you need to stop your search for a caterer here and contact Chef Charlie today. I cannot even begin to thank Chef Charlie enough for the incredible meal and service he provided for our wedding. His staff is amazing and we received endless comments from our guests about the quality of the meal. My husband still talks about the sambuca shrimp he tasted months back before our wedding date and probably (ok hopefully, haha) second to the actual marriage, this was what he was most excited about.
  
  When I first contacted Charlie, I was deflated after many failed attempts to receive responses from other catering vendors in the area. He spoke to me for about 45 minutes and went over several details and in the end even mentioned that if we did not use him, we were welcome to contact him with questions or advice. This is not someone who pushes through a million events a year, this is someone who genuinely and passionately cares about what he does and the service he provides. He went out of his way to educate and inform us of several options.
  
  Chef Charlie's personalized service and amazing talent for great food made our wedding day truly amazing. Any bride and groom would be beyond pleased with his service.

  Chef Charlie seems more like a family member than our caterer. The care and creativity he and his staff showed at our Wedding is something we had never experienced. Our Wedding was like a culinary event, beautifully prepared and presented. The personal touch of him presenting of the menu we selected and how it reflected our courtship was something we had never experienced and so much fun. Our guests raved about the delicious appetizers and generous portions and flavor of the entrees. We planned our Wedding from outside the state and the extra level of service he and his staff provided with referrals for other vendors, procurement of beverages and set up was so helpful and greatly appreciated. We can't wait for our anniversary to return to Paso Robles for our anniversary dinner. Chef Charlie thank you for being such an important part of an unforgettable Wedding. Cheers !!

  Chef Charlie was truly amazing! We didn't want the traditional seated meal for our wedding and he was very open to help us create the experience we had envisioned. The food, service and experience Chef Charlie provided was fantastic!! All of our guests commented how great the food was. We had such an amazing experience we can't wait to have another event so we can hire Chef Charlie to cater it!!!

  o charlie! my husband used to work for charlie so there was no question about choosing our caterer. bottom line, six months after the wedding I still have guests remembering the food. It's that good. You will not be disappointed. He will and can do anything your heart desires. He is knowledgeable and passionate. He will even help you out with other vendors! He gave us advice on locations, rentals, helped us pair wine.... charlie is awesome!

  We could not have been happier with our experience working with Chef Charlie. From our first meeting for the food tasting to our wedding dining service, Chef Charlie and his team exceeded all our expectations. Chef Charlie himself is an extremely warm, kind, and happy man, extremely inviting and sociable. During the tasting, he was extremely good company, his talent with food is top notch, and he was eager to collaborate and listen to our ideas and suggestions for menu adjustments. In the days leading up to the wedding, Chef Charlie was an asset, going above and beyond his call of duty, even helping out in areas outside his responsibility. He helped us source great fresh foods for our rehearsal picnic, came early the day before and helped coordinate the set up of the rentals, and even made a site visit for us when we could not make it up to the area for the outdoor bathroom rentals. The wedding dinner service was AMAZING. I know we're biased, but it's hands down the best food we've ever been served at a wedding. You could tell there was great care taken in picking the freshest ingredients, the preparation of the food, and the service. To this day, several months after the wedding, our friends and family still talk about how good the food was. Chef Charlie was an integral part to making our special day as perfect as it was, and a 5/5 star rating doesn't really do him justice.

  Charlie was an absolute pleasure to work with and prepared by far the best food I've ever had at a wedding. He was flexible with options and prepared a fantastic family style meal (caprese salad, grilled flat iron steak, Tuscan-style chicken, butternut squash raviolis, and roasted vegetables) that our friends still rave about today. The food was served piping hot and the family-style meal made the reception even more intimate (which made for very happy and full guests). In addition to the fabulous meal, Charlie prepared delicious appetizers for the cocktail hour. All of this was done at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Charlie without hesitation for a wedding or any event where you might want good food.

  Chef Charlie did a magnificent job with our reception. He was responsive to our needs and wants as far as our menu went and made sure to provide something remarkable that also fit our price. Charlie was friendly and his food was great. We had a few children at our event and he even provided meals tailored to their younger needs. I would recommend Charlie for any event.

  Chef Charlie's catering was the highlight of my daughter's wedding weekend. He catered brunch for family and close friends the morning after the wedding. The food was delicious, his staff was warm and friendly, he was personally very fun to have as part of the morning, and my home and back yard were cleaner when he left than when he arrived. I should have more parties so he can cater!

  Chef Charlie's food is absolutely amazing. Our guests definitely did not go home hungry after our wedding! Chef Charlie is very easy to work with and has spectacular food. We were able to meet with him on multiple occassions without feeling as if we were intruding! He made us a sample of our main course to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. On top of the great meal, he has wonderful staff to help make the day go even smoother. If you're looking for great food and service, go with Chef Charlie.

  No one could ask for a more qualified Chef or simply a nicer person. Our entire evening was centered on a seven course meal, so it was critical for success of our wedding for Chef Charlie to be perfect; he made it that and then some. It was like he was part of the family, truly! Charlie walked our guests through each of the courses and described in detail the tasties they were about to eat. My wife and I are foodies and collectors of wine, we have eaten at the Laundry and Mina's finest, spent months in France dining in the country side on the best the country has to offer and Chef Charlie comes out ahead; that being said, you will not find any more reasonable prices anywhere in the area. Charlie's staff was very professional and helpful in every way; his team handled everything for us! If you are even considering this culinary genius, talk to him, meet him and you will be captured by his warm friendly personality.   Charlie was amazing from beginning to end. He was affordable, but did not sacrifice quality. His food is amazing!!! He did a pig roast, brunch, cheese appetizer spread and our wedding feast...all of it was down right unbelievable. I would recommend Charlie all day long!!! He was a pleasure to work with and I know I will work with him again in the future.

  I don't even know how to write a review that would do justice to what Chef Charlie provided to our wedding reception. His food and professionalism so far exceeded our expectations! Our guests are still raving about the flavor and presentation of his dishes! His food was innovative and of the highest quality with the best of ingredients. His personality and disposition are a dream to work with, and he is a master of the art of cooking! Additionally his staff were impeccable and most competent. I cannot rave enough about Chef Charlie! We are in your debt and cannot give thanks enough, nor can we stop thinking about your food!
