A++++++ service all the way! Cali is a genius, she was on time and came with another makeup artist that works with her, who was also great. I couldn't have asked for a better day. My bridemaids looked beautiful and I never felt so glamorous. I just got my proofs back and I can't believe that my hair and makeup looked just as good at 1 am as it it did at 12 noon. I highly recommend Calista Brides!!

I booked Cali on very short notice, and I'm so glad that she was available. My wedding was on a Sunday morning, and going to a salon was pretty impossible, since many are closed Sundays or don't open until much later than we needed, so we really needed someone to come to us at the venue. Cali did hair for me, my mother, and two of my bridesmaids, and everyone was so happy with the way it turned out. I got so many compliments, and my hair didn't budge all day long! Because I booked so close to my wedding, we didn't have time for a trial but Cali was able to do a great job even without it. I highly, highly recommend her!

Cali is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the Philadelphia area. She comes to you for both your trial and the actual day of your wedding, which is nice if you have a busy schedule. She brings everything she needs with her, and does a great job with doing your makeup in a way that does not look heavy but brings out your best features. She made my eyes look so big! The makeup stays on very well - the only thing I had to touch up was lipstick, which was easy since she gave me miniature versions of lipsick and gloss to keep in my purse. She also does a mean updo! They stay forever. She was also responsive to changes that I wanted to be made from the trial to the wedding - she listened and tweaked the look, so I was very happy with the results. The last thing I want to mention is that she used hair extensions on me per my request, and no one could notice (not even me). That is talent. I was very happy with Cali and would highly recommend her services to anyone who wants to look and feel great on their wedding day. She is also super nice and relaxed, which helps to minimize your stress levels on the day. Go Cali!

Highly recommended hair and makeup artist! Cali is one of my favorite vendors we hired. She promised my makeup would not melt in the insane heat, and it lasted all day and night without fading, amazing!! My hair stayed intact until the nest morning when I took it down. Technical aside, Cali is someone that is so serene and laid back and the attention she gave everyone was impressive. I had 6 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, myself and my mom and Cali had us all done in under 6 hours. Real Talent!

Cali did a wonderful job at my hair trial and we were looking forward to having her do her "magic" on the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, she was 30 minutes late on the day of our wedding and that meant not everyone got hair and make-up done. She did call and let us know that she was going to be late and she was very good at email communications.

As a bride, I was very happy with my look, but it did add stress to the day and we were not able to get all the pictures that we wanted to before the wedding and not everyone in the bridal party felt their best. She did refund some of our money for not being able to finish everyone which I thought was most fair of her but I wish that things could have gone more smoothly.

Unfortunately there's just not enough space on here to rave about how great Cali is. She is really talented and just a sweet, sweet soul. I had no idea how hard it would be to find a hairstylist for my wedding and I'm naturally a worry-wort so I really bombarded Cali with a zillion questions and she answered my emails each time and so promptly. Its a HUGE plus!! My mom and aunt are major critics and I was worried that Cali, although incredibly talented, wouldn't be able to pull off the look they wanted, but she nailed it and they were all so impressed. I also changed the schedule last minute so we actually had to start an hour earlier and she was very accomodating and arrived on time and even had us done 20 minutes before we had set to be done. I cannot recommend her enough!

Cali's hair skills are phenomenal - she managed to make all (5) of my Bridesmaids, myself & my mother all look great, but different. A skill. My only hesitation is that she was 30 mins late, and consequently 30 mins late to finish. This did not adversely effect any timings on the day, as I had padded the schedule. I did not mention this to her on the day, because I did not want her to rush the Bridesmaids hair. Also, Cali has a very bubbly personality - which I normally look for in a hairstylist. However, on the day of my wedding, I would have preferred a more serene, calm environment. Even with those (2) caveats - I would recommend Cali for the amazing work she did on everyone's hair.

Cali's work is gorgeous! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding and hair for three bridesmaids-- all in under three hours! She was able to work with a variety of hair lengths and each woman looked gorgeous when Cali was done with her!

My hair stayed in its up-do from 9AM until 5PM when I took it out!

Only minor issue was that Cali was a few minutes late for our 7AM start time, but she still got us all in prior to our 10AM departure for the wedding venue.

Highly highly recommended!!

Wonderful find! I had my makeup and my hair done with Calista and I paid for my bridemaids to also have their hair done. They loved my makeup so much that they all decided to have theirs done as well. We partied hard and went out for drinks after the reception and except for our lips, our makeup was still awesome! My lash extensions stayed on for 4 days and I didn't even feel them. My only thing is that I had a bridesmaid cancel her her hair appointment the day of the wedding (she was hungover- eek!) Calista let me know that unless someone took her place I would have to pay 50 % of the service fee. It is stated in the contract, but I never really read the contract, obviously not Calista's fault! Anyway, we convinced my grandmom to have her hair done so it all worked out. She books up quick so you'll be lucky if you get her!

Wonderful!! I am so happy that Cali was available for my wedding day. I had seen what magic she's done for previous brides and I was just as thrilled with the way my hair and makeup turned out. Nothing budged at all, even at 3 am!
