My daughters cake was more beautiful than any magazine picture...and I looked at alot of them!!! It was beautifully decorated and the taste was remarkable. We even had some left over and the rest of the family had seconds the next day. I would highly recommend Terry and her staff. she was so professional, from the cake tasting to the finished product.

Yuuuuuummmmmmm!! We went with Cakes Unlimited for our wedding cake based on the cake tasting experience we'd had over a year before the wedding. The presentation in the cake tasting literally sealed the deal! The cake turned out exactly how we imagined. Terri is such an approachable friendly person and we were really happy with our cake. Apparently our guests loved it as much as we did...we found out that guests had begun requesting seconds and the Veritas staff had to put ours aside to ensure we received some of each layer!

Cakes Unlimited had the best tasting cake of the many cakes we sampled between individual appointments and vendors at wedding shows. The service was exceptional and the cake was beautiful and exactly what we ordered. Best cakes in C'ville.

Teri Edwards made both our groom's and wedding cakes, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She was so easy to work with, and a true professional, beginning with the fun cake tasting we did all the way through our wedding. Both cakes were absolutely delicious--so fresh and moist with fantastic buttercream frosting. She had fun designing our UVa football-themed groom's cake, which everyone admired. It was well-themed without being "tacky!" And the wedding cake was exactly what I had envisioned--absolutely beautiful and delicious. You cannot go wrong with Cakes Unlimited!

Teri was AMAZING.

My cake was stunning, and she was so open to the design ideas I had; in fact, we changed the design a month and a half out and she was so helpful in giving me flower counts, etc.

She also 'saved' my wedding when the florists I had contracted out asked me to cancel our contract and got me in contact with an amazing florist who did a wonderful job on our flowers.

More than beauty, her cakes are decadent! We had a red velvet cake, and it was the talk of the wedding. Several people mentioned it was the BEST cake they had EVER tasted (which I 100% agree). It was stunning and such a beautiful red. I could not be happier with the service and product I received and will DEFINITELY do business with Teri again.

You will not be disappointed.

Teri is wonderful! Perfect cake, great vision and really friendly. We could not have asked for a more perfect cake. Everything tasted moist and we received so many emails with people complimenting how beautiful our cake was. If you're on the fence about who to use for your cake you should definitely call Teri and tell her what you're looking for.

Teri was amazing to work with! I was going out of the country for a year before my wedding, so I met with her before I left. We had a tasting of all the yummy cakes and frosting and filling options, and she brought a book of designs. I brought some of my own ideas, and together we worked on what truly turned out to be the perfect cake. It was exactly what I asked for and it was so delicious some guests ate multiple pieces of cake! We purposefully ordered extra so there would be leftovers.

Teri also made cupcakes for my bachelorette party and they were the cutest and tastiest cupcakes I have eaten! Everything she does is extremely professional, right down to the way she boxes things up.

I would recommend Teri to anyone, for any occasion.

Planning a wedding from outside of the state was quite a challenge as I depended a lot on references; I found Cakes Unlimited after several failed attempts with other bakers and bakeries. Terri was wonderful to work with and made the selection process so easy and convenient by scheduling a tasting session and showing us her ample portfolio. The tasting session was fabulous, we liked everything we tasted so I can tell you that you will find the right combination of flavors for your wedding cake. We received a lot of compliments on our wedding cake, not only the presentation was great, it tasted so incredibly good. We will certainly recommend her to friends and family, not only for wedding cakes but for birthday cakes and any other events.
