Everything was wonderful. Beautiful hall, great price, very flexible with our need to set up early. Know what you want and make sure you specify that and everything will work out. It did for us and made an amazing evening!

We had our wedding reception at this hotel and it was absolutely fantastic! Elizabeth Fortier, the coordinator for the hotel, was a delight to work with and was very professional and you could tell she has had a lot of wedding experience. They met all of our needs and more, and the room set up looked gorgeous. The ballroom itself is a perfect venue for a smaller wedding (we had about 100 people) and the space did not look too empty. You have a whole corridor to yourself, so we had the cocktail reception there and then went into the ballroom for the reception. The staff were very friendly and professional, and I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a reasonably priced beatiful room, great food, great service, and a wonderful coordinator.

The beginning of our wedding reception went well. However, towards the end of the reception there was a misunderstanding between myself and the catering manager and he handled it in the most unprofessional way. He yelled at my guests and groom as they were standing in line at the bar. On the night of the event the person that I had been dealing with during the duration of planning the event did not step up to the plate and take charge. She allowed the catering manager to walk all over her making me very unhappy and upset. After the event the general manager would not return any of my calls to discuss how things were handled at the reception.

Many of my guests did not have heat in their rooms when it was 7 degrees outside. They simply moved them to another room with no compensation. My groom and I had to move our room at midnight after our wedding reception even though we told them twice there was no heat.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone to stay or have an event. They are very misleading, shady and extremely unprofessional.

Everything went fine until the actual wedding.
Not enough staff was provided, the bar tenders were missing in action - got called off to serve food.
Salads not ready when promised.
Room not ready for an HOUR !!!! after ceremony.
All in all, after a year of great planning, the final event was a pretty big let down.
The food itself was excellent - they were just way understaffed for such a large wedding.

This was actually the Ramada in Laurel,MD not BWI Ramada. They were great for a cheap venue. Very nice and we got ALOT for our buck!

My wedding was very pretty however I think the catering was way overpriced for what we got. I could have had my wedding at a nicer venue that would have had shrimp and filet mignon for what I paid!! Don't get me wrong they weren't extremely expensive but for just eating chicken at a buffet...I could have gotten way more somewhere else. Now that I am planning my sisters quinceanera, I am finding so many more places that would have given me my dream wedding for way less.

The staff is very nice, they are pretty flexible but there were some things that I felt they could have done better. For instance they would not let me give my vendors, vendor meals. I had to pay full price for my vendors to eat what my guests were eating. I have been to other people's weddings at the Hyatt and they allow vendor meal which is a boxed sandwhich chips or anything you want to feed your vendors because you are already paying them to be there. I felt they could have bent a little on that part. The other thing is you are already paying an arm and a leg for catering but on top of that for a dinner reception they did not offer floor length linens. they only give you the room with half length linens. (not sure what they are called) I had to rent white floor length linens and the other locations I have checked on offer that with the catering and evening reception package!! There were a few more kinks I would have to say they could fix.

My reception at the Ramada @ BWI was absolutely beautiful. I was so impressed with the remarkable way they decorated and just how organized everything was. Working with Ms. Nona was more than a pleasure and she gave and offered me more than I could have ever expected.

I was very happy with the service I recieved for our wedding reception here. Carol Suser is so nice, and responds back to any phone calls or emails. And answers even the oddest of questions, and it very flexible. The wait staff was very nice, on the day of, and everything looked great.
However we recieved the wrong cake with our weding package and they did not reimburse us for it. All we got back was $100 and a dinner voucher for Key West restaurant. But overall I was very happy with the service we recieved.

The reception venue was very nice, the staff was very nice, but the food wasn't the best. Make sure you taste everything to make our decision before you book a place.
