We could not have been happier with this venue! My mother was married here as well and we were so pleased that we couldnt pass it up. My husband and i had the best time and Annette and danielle did a great job with helping move things along smoothly. We didnt have to worry about anything!!! Everything was under control. Even with a few minor emergencies IE ambulances being called for one of our guests, Annette and Danielle helped to coordinate everything so we could get right back on track. The food was great and we keep getting great reviews from our uests as well telling us how great the venue was and how good of a time they had at Bristow! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves thanks to Bristow and our awesome DJ Chris Rao! we can't thank them enough!!!

I had such a wonderful experience at Bristow Manor! The staff that works with you is exceptional and were able to handle any small issue that arose. They decorated the venue exactly as I wanted and left me stress free! The food was delicious. So many wedding guests complimented me on how beautiful everything was and how helpful the staff was. I can't rave enough about my great wedding experience!!

We used Bristow Manor for our wedding reception. The ceremony was held at my church. The place was beautifully decorated for the wedding. They had set up all the Christmas decorations, which worked very well with the colors my wife chose for the wedding (red and silver). The Staff, especially Annette, was extremely helpful in going over all the details with us for the reception. We had several guests afterwards tell us what a wonderful place we chose for the reception. It also offers great sunset backdrop for wedding pictures. The main Manor is used for the cocktail hour, followed by the rest of the reception in the hall right next door (just a few steps walk). We had just under 60 guests at our wedding, so there was ample space available for all the wedding tables and a large dance floor. I have already recommended this place to a few of my friends who are currently looking for a reception site.

I am so pleased with my experience at Bristow Manor! I reached out to over 100 different venues for my wedding and Bristow Manor won me over. Karen and Annette were awesome to work with. Even after Karen left, Annette was there to take care of everything for my big day. She was so nice, responsive, and flexible with all of my requests. It was the perfect day and Annette made sure everything was taken care of. She even gave my husband and I more time to take extra pictures by the lake, even though we were running behind. I would definitely tell all of my friends to have their wedding here. You will not be disappointed!

Bristow Manor was a beautiful backdrop and venue for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Annette was great from start to finish and was very responsive and flexible with our inquiries and requests. The food was great. Our event day was stress-free, Annette and the staff set up all of our stuff exactly the way we wanted it before we even arrived, and when the reception was over, everything was packed and ready for us to pop in the car and be on our way. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer, the night was too short!

If you’re planning on having a smaller wedding (100 people or less), then hands down Bristow Manor is the best venue you could use. Rather than a large country club with ugly carpets, we had gleaming hardwood floors, string lights over the ceiling (very cool look at night), and elegant chandeliers. You can’t beat the value and quality of service—it even comes with its own wedding coordinator! Karen and Annette both did a remarkable job, we were very happy with their service. Six stars to their patience and flexibility to ensure the customer has the best service possible. They really go the extra mile.

The only one negative experience we has was that the chef used the wrong sauce on the filet mignon entrees (pepper sauce instead of merlot wine sauce)—which was a bit of a disappointment since we had told all of our family how good the merlot wine sauce was! The Chef was very apologetic and Bristow Manor provided us a refund for the error. Other than that one mishap, Bristow Manor did an excellent job. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful (we had an outdoor wedding), and everyone had a lovely time. It’s very helpful that there are two large changing rooms upstairs for the bride/bridesmaids and groom/groomsmen. Makes for some lovely pre-wedding pictures. The grounds are also great to take bride/groom pictures on (with a golf cart available to travel with to save you time!). And their package wedding service made it so easy to plan for the wedding and choose our selections. We were so happy with their service and what Bristow Manor has to offer, that we even had our reception dinner there, which worked out very well. Again, great food and service.

One recommendation: If you plan to have an outdoor ceremony, strongly encourage you to provide a microphone for your Officiant and for any readers you may have. Cars that drive by can drown out the voice. We are so glad that last minute we decided to have microphones set-up (thanks Musical DJs!)—it was well worth it so everyone could hear the ceremony. Ladies: Also make plans for heels to dig into the ground if you have an outdoor ceremony on the grass. Recommend consider using wedge sandals instead of stillettos.

Bristow Manor was the perfect place for us to host our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. A key feature that led us to Bristow was that there was no "site fee", rather a price per headcount. Many venues in northern VA require a site fee before they will even talk to you and it can be upwards of $5000 - $6000. Once we decided to go with Bristow, the staff was so helpful, knowledgeable and organized. I was so happy that our events turned out as great as they did. All of my instructions were perfectly carried out and most all of Bristow's recommended vendors came through without any issue. I highly recommend Bristow Manor for your wedding!

The staff at Bristow Manor were exceptional from the beginning of the planning process all the way to the big day. Our wedding day was everything we had wanted it to be and I know there is no way it would have been possible without everyone at Bristow. Our guests were very impressed with the details of everything that day and especially the food. All in all we had a great day and it is one we will always remember fondly! Thank you!!! :)

This is the best venue to have your wedding and reception in the DMV area. I have no complaints whatsoever. They even help me resolve some problems with my other vendors. Love this venue!!!!

I can't say enough on how wonderful Bristow Manor was!! Both Annette and Karen were on top of everything. I almost wouldnt mind going through the whole stress of planning a wedding if they were the two people to help me. :-) I had numerous people tell me after the wedding how lovely everything was and how well Bristow Manor did. Both Karen and Annette were prompt when returning emails and phone calls. Karen very calm throughout the day never showing if she was stressed, was with me on the day letting me know what to do, dealt with vendors (even called the week of to make sure they were ready to go), just an overall amazing experience.

We were very pleased with Bristow Manor. The setting is magical, the staff professional, the food was great! Our guests enjoyed the ambiance and beauty of the 150 year old plantation. Karen, our main contact, was Fantastic--very professional, friendly, helpful and a joy to work with. At the end of the night, several of the waiters cheerfully lined up to help carry and load supplies and gifts into the car. I recommend Bristow Manor wholeheartedly!!!

Bristow Manor was the perfect place for our wedding. It was elegant with the Virginian feel we were going for. The flexibility in choosing entrees, drinks, setups helped us stay within our budget while still allowing us to provide an excellent reception for our guests. Annette and Karen were so great to work with, always responding quickly to questions and being flexible as we changed ideas over the months. The food was excellent and exactly what we had wanted, the ice cream bar was a hit with our guests, the bar service was great, and the grounds made the reception elegant and the perfect backdrop for our pictures. The manor house could use some repairs as there were cracks in the walls and the air conditioning downstairs and in the reception hall was weak. We did have some guests comment how warm it was inside, and it was mid-May with a high of 80 for the day. Overall, very happy I went with Bristow over other reception sites. Easy access from I-66 away from the concrete jungle of NoVA.

Bristow manor is the perfect place to have a wedding. Karen and Annette are so helpful and will do anything they can do make your day perfect!!
