Kelly was wonderful to work with. She did my hair and make up for my wedding on 10/1/11. She and her assistant worked on my 4 bridemaids, my mother and me for our wedding day. Every girl loved there hair and make up and our hair did not move all day. Plus it was windy outside and it held strong. I loved working with her and would recommend her to anybody who wants to be treated like a princess on their special day!!!

What a pampering Kelly and her helper gave us! We 5 are all pretty picky, but they pleased us all. Cannot wait to use Brides by Kelly again!

When I went for my pre-booking trial, I felt very comfortable with the owner, Kelly. It was important to me to have my hair/make-up person come to my hotel room, to keep everything relaxed and minimize rushing around. She brought an assistant to my room, and did the hair/make-up for myself, 3 bridesmaids, one junior bridesmaid, and 2 moms. They did a beautiful job, were fast, and we really enjoyed their company! The cost is really competitive. I got tons of compliments on my hair.

Kelly did an amazing job with my hair and make up, I could not have been happier! She spent a lot of time on my hair and make-up at my trail and 2 days before my wedding I decided to change it completely. Kelly was great and knew exactly what I was wanting without having a picture to show her. On the day of my wedding she arrived early and got to work on my 7 year old flower girl and then my 10 year old jr. bridesmaid. Both girls wanted curls but did not want to look alike and she did an amazing job making each girl individual and special. Kelly was very patient and great with both of them, she made them both feel comfortable and special. Kelly did an amazing job on my hair and make-up, I felt amazing and the look on my husband's face when he saw me was priceless! Our wedding was on a hot day in June and our hair stayed perfect for hours-even with an outdoor ceremony and an hour of pictures outside. While my girls were getting their hair done, I had a flower emergency and had to re-construct all of our bouquets. Kelly was a HUGE help! She kept me calm and offered some great suggestions....she saved the day! I have already recommended her services to many girls...she was amazing and I am so glad I found her!

By far the best experience I could have imagined. Nowhere else in Chicagoland will you find someone as talented, especially for the cost. Having someone that came to my "getting ready location" really helped keep the day calm and on schedule. Kelly and her assistant were very prompt and directed on my wedding day. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get all the bridesmaides/mom finished since everyone looked great, and they even took the time to make a few adjustments to some of my bridesmaids' hair styles. Kelly spent a lot of time on my hair and makeup, and it showed all night long. I have never felt so beautiful before. The hair and make up held all night, and was very comfortable (no one wants bobbypins pushing into their head giving them a headache all of their wedding day). I recommend Brides By Kelly with the highest of confidence.

I'm so happy I chose Brides by Kelly to do hair for my wedding. Lisa Marie was our stylist and was awesome! During my trial, I showed her some pictures of what I liked and didn't like and she was patient and flexible in doing a few styles until I found the right one. She arrived on time on my wedding day at our hotel and finished myself, my mom, and my bridal party's hair ahead of schedule. She is so talented with hair styles and all the girls and our guests were so impressed by the finished product. My hair stayed up all night even with flowers in it! I would definitely recommend Brides by Kelly to future brides.

One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was going with Brides by Kelly!! I was referred to her from a friend whose sister used her services and her hair and makeup looked so beautiful, I had to sign up myself. Kelly was simply amazing. She did hair for all my bridesmaids as well and they all looked stunning. I was worried about my makeup b/c I'm Asian and our eye makeup is tricky but she was FLAWLESS. I got amazing compliments on my makeup and the hair was beautiful. She really knows what she's doing. Another friend who got married a month and half after me used Kelly as well and she looked stunning. I wanted my makeup to make me beautiful and feminine without looking caked on in layers like many brides do and Kelly did just done. She's great at making you look natural while still stunning.

I absolutely adored Kelly and her work. From our first conversations via e-mail to my big day, she was available and willing to help me with ANYTHING. I showed her a few pictures and described for her the look I wanted to achieve and she provided exactly what I wanted. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and my husband was equally as happy with my look :)
Kelly was fun and easy to talk to and be around. She got along great with everyone whom she provided services for and we all had nothing but great things to say about her. I would recommend her to any bride looking to have someone come to them on their wedding day.

Kelly was great! I actually worked with Kim was great too! I actually booked their serivces about two weeks before my wedding. I had about 4 trials and was just not happy. I was at the point where I didn't even want to do the trial anymore just becuase I gave up. I was at the point where I just didn't care anymore. Well I did do the trial and thankfully I did because I was ecstatic. I felt reassured that I was going to look the way I wanted to look on my big day. I was going for a soft curl loose wave look and Kim was the only person out of the multiple trials I had that achieved the look I wanted and LASTED ALL NIGHT. I have really long and think hair so curls don't hold well but Kim's did. She not only did my hair but she did 6 other girls as well and didn't even break a sweat. I've already recommended her to some of my other friends that are getting married. Kelly's company is reasonably priced. The trial isn't required but I would suggest it. If you're looking for curls or waves, request Kim because that is her specialty. Thanks again!

Kelly was GREAT! She is so friendly and thoughtful. All of my bridesmaids and I enjoyed her being around and she does wonderful hair and makeup! We couldn't of asked for better - Thank you Kelly!

Our original vendor cancelled 2 months before the wedding so we booked LisaMarie fairly last minute. She was affordable and had a ton of great reviews and pictures on the website. I scheduled a trial with her and she was so sweet! She took two pictures I had for my inspiration and combined them into something so unique and so perfect for ME! She gave lots of tips for the day of the wedding too. For the actual final hairstyle she did a wonderful job. My hair was better than the trial and really stayed up from 8AM to Midnight! Between her and our make-up lady we were way ahead of schedule! My bridesmaids loved her as well, one girl had short hair but after LisaMarie got done with her she had a great updo that looked like she had looonngg hair!

Kelly was absolutely phenomenal to work with! She was so professional, calm and wonderful to have around on our wedding day - and my bridesmaids couldn't stop raving about their hair!
