Barbara was very nice and easy to work with. She gave us a great group rate.

I was a little disappointed with how the makeup and hair looked when i got my pictures back. My hair had a few stray pieces on one side, which should have been sprayed back. I wish Kai had noticed that because having them down made it look like I have a sideburn on one side (which may have been fine for the reception, but does not look good in pictures). Also, my face seemed far more pink than it should have been in pictures.

All and all a good experience, but I would make take a careful look at the work before leaving for the wedding.

Where to start...Pia, the makeup artist did a fantastic job. However, all administrative stuff was a disaster. Booked with Barbara several months before wedding. Tried to schedule trial in late 2007 for March 2008 wedding, she recommended waiting until 2008. In 2008, found out Barbara would not be doing my makeup, but another artist would. She then called to say another artist would be because the other wasn't available for the trial. After scheduling the trial, she called to reschedule the trial and changed back to the second makeup artist. She then called a week before my trial to schedule a trial because she had my wedding date down and needed to meet with me as the wedding was approaching. Very frustrating - would have actually booked another vendor but had already paid deposit. Would have also preferred an artist that used airbrush makeup.
