Barbara was so nice and fun to work with. She really took everything I had to say at the trial into account and then used her expertise to make my skin look amazing. I have been told on other occasions that my skin color is hard to match well as it is very olive (with a lot of yellow undertone) but she had no problem what so ever! I would recommend her to anyone! The best part is that she was able to travel to our hotel and you get a full size lipstick and powder compact to do your own touch ups throughout the day!

Perfect! Barbara did an absolutely perfect job with my makeup and that of my five bridesmaids. She was wonderful to work with, friendly and fun on the wedding day, but also organized and on top of everything.

Sonia went above and beyond to give me the most elegant hairdo I could ever dream of. She is an expert on all hair types -- my hair is almost too curly so she straightened it; one of my bridesmaid has wavy hair, so she re-curled it to give her a beautiful and bouncy half updo. And, like Barbara, was so much fun to work with on my wedding day.

Barbara is fantastic - a combination of high professionalism and care and kindness. She was extremely flexible to make sure I was comfortable with my makeup and hair at the trial session and did a second one (with no cost to me) since we ran out of time in the first session.

I initially wanted to do my makeup myself since I know how to do makeup but am glad that I decided to ask Barbara as I felt so relaxed and pampered having her do my makeup. She did a great job and was very responsive to my feedback, too.

Ky, who was the hair stylist working with her was also very responsive and flexible and did a beautiful job. They both made me start off the day very calmly and beautifully!

Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Barbara. My makeup trial with Barbara was in her home in Fairfax, VA and she came to me on-site at the hotel very early the morning of my wedding. Barbara uses very high quality makeup and takes detailed notes at the makeup trial- both on what makeup she uses for the trial, as well as the color of your gown, the bridesmaid colors, etc. She used very neutral tones for my makeup and really accentuated my best feautures. Her prices are on par with other makeup artists who do makeup on-site and her work is wonderful. She also did a great job with two of my bridesmaids' makeup. She was on time and very professional.

Ky and Shaune were great. They made me feel the most beautiful on my most special day. They were very easy to work with. Barbara was awesome as well, she was able to pull through with the last minute request for the touch up. These girls are wonderful!

Bridal Artistry did a wonderful job. It was a huge help to be able to have both someone to do our hair and makeup from one place - and also someone who could come to where we were getting ready. So many of our guests raved about how beautiful both my hair and makeup looked. I felt absolutely amazing during my wedding thanks to them. And my bridesmaids felt and looked the same way. I definitely recommend Bridal Artistry - they are professional, listen to what you want, and make you look gorgeous for your big day.

I had two other make up trials before I booked with Barbara. I was very impressed with her. She has great ideas and was open to what style of makeup I wanted. She is also the only one of the three makeup artists that I had trials with to ask about my wedding colors and my dress- so she could make sure the style of my wedding and dress were reflected in my makeup. Barbara's calming presence was definitely appreciated the morning of my wedding day.

Barbara Hill is absolutely fantastic. She has a calm, confident demeanor and does a great job making women look more beautiful in a way that appears natural and does not feel like you're wearing a mask! She came to do my makeup wearing a very beautiful outfit, and has a great sense of humor. She is knowledgeable and experienced and I have no complaints!

Barbara Hill was great. The makeup lasted all night and everyone raved about it. She even stayed to do my Aunts' makeup when who weren't originally scheduled. We had a total of 15 people getting makeup done and everyone looked great!

Barbara is very professional and seems to really enjoy what she does. I actually didn't like my makeup at all after the trial run, and she was willing to schedule another trial run, or refund part of my deposit (the cost for hair/makeup on the day of the wedding). I am very picky and prefer a very natural look, and so I decided not to have my makeup done professionally on the day-of. However, I still really liked Barbara; she gave me lots of options, and the trial run was very valuable because it made me realize what I did and didn't want in terms of beauty on my wedding day.

Barbara was great! She arrived to my house early. She was calm and supportive the morning of my wedding and she made me look fabulous! I would definitely recommend Bridal Artistry.
