Hank was great handling our unique ask — a bowling alley wedding at Pinstripes with heavy emphasis on the alley after we were done in the ballroom. He was flexible on schedule when small things shifted or someone was randomly added into the mix for party intros.
I appreciated his ability to guide the guests to the next part of the evening and MC as appropriate. The app for planning was really helpful to craft a timeline and music for portions of the day to include the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and bowling/dancing. The music selections outside of the songs we suggested in the helpful app were on point for the crowd. Also very respectful of the “do not play” list. Only disappointment was having our last name mispronounced at introduction after going over how to pronounce it. Lots of moving parts so it’s understandable that small errors happen. Overall, would highly recommend for a no fuss experience. -

i had hank as my dj and he was super easy to work with, he played great music going with what i asked
for!! he read the room to keep the dance floor full even at a day time wedding! i would choose them for any type of event i may need in the future! words can’t fully describe how amazing hank did! -

Hank was super nice and so easy to work with! The portal that he uses made it easy to select songs for each event and include the time that it would start. Everyone loved the music and several people told me later how surprised they were that so many people were on the dance floor all night, especially for a Sunday wedding! I had a former coworker even reach out to get my playlist (that was 75% Hank!) since she heard such great things about it from one of our mutual friends. My husband was impressed by how great Hank was at adjusting on the fly and seamlessly transitioning a song to the version he wanted! Hank was also great about doing enough talking to keep guests hyped, but not overdoing it. Overall, we would highly recommend Hank!! -

Hank was wonderful to work with and added lights to our package when requested at no extra charge. He was flexible and responsive during the planning process. His prices are very competitive and every penny is worth it. Our day went off without a hitch! All announcements were made correctly, ceremony music cued perfectly with the proper cuts made, and the dancing portion of our night was so fun with awesome song selections. I would highly recommend Breaking the Norm Entertainment and Lighting to any couple! -

Hank was such pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding and we were blown away with how good he was at the wedding! He nailed the vibe we wanted as far as music goes and everyone has raved about what a fun party we had. He also worked with me to customize a father daughter mashup dance with my dad and it was so great! A bunch of our friends have already asked for his contact information to use for their events! Thank you again, Hank!! -

The Best DJ!
Such a great DJ who was able to keep everyone on the dance floor even at a Sunday wedding! Weeks after our wedding, our friends and family are still saying how great the music was at our wedding and how their feet and legs hurt from dancing so much. Hank was amazing to work with from the start. He is very responsive and clearly knows what he is doing. His packages are reasonably priced and he has a great voice for announcements. The tool that he uses for planning out the songs for each section of the wedding day was very easy to use and very helpful to make sure we had all songs we wanted and had the chance to block songs from being played. Hank's experience helped us find common songs played at different parts of the night when we didn't know or have a preference of song. Such an amazing experience working with him and he definitely knew how to keep the party alive! -

Hank was extremely professional and made the night a breeze for us. He understood our musical preferences precisely and read the crowd expertly. If the dancers started to drift, he knew exactly how to bring them back to the dance floor. He even went through our RSVP song request list and determined which ones would work with both our preferences and typical crowd preferences, which saved us a lot of time! You would be crazy NOT to hire Hank. (Bonus- his set up looked awesome! Very sleek.) -

Hank really helped get the party started for our wedding. He was super responsive leading up to the wedding in terms of answering any questions...and I always have a lot! He was patient, kind and understanding. He understood the assignment, that's for sure! He made our emo, pop punk wedding dreams come true! We loved every minute. Our guests also complimented on how great Hank was! 10/10 would recommend him to everyone!! He'll make your musical vision come to life! -

Hank was absolutely incredible!!! From the very beginning he was responsive, punctual, knowledgable, and overall just a joy to work with. He helped us so much in narrowing down what songs we needed to pick, giving us options for when we would need his services, and brainstorming ideas with us. His website to pick out all of our songs and put them where they needed to be was SO helpful.
Our dance floor was FULL all. night. long. Hank kept the party going, played exactly what we wanted, and was the BEST at making eye contact with us if he was unsure if we wanted that certain song. All in all, I cannot recommend Hank highly enough. He truly went above and beyond any of our expectations. -

We are soo happy we went with Hank for our DJ services at our wedding! Our whole ceremony went perfectly and people are still talking about the dance party at our reception! I threw a couple last minute requests at him the day before and he was able to accommodate everything we asked for. It was such an amazing day and he was definitely one of the reasons why! -

Hank was amazing for our wedding! He was so helpful with music selections and with providing the perfect atmosphere for all aspects, from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception. Whether it was providing his own music selections for the pre ceremony, or using our music requests for the reception, he was so receptive and had great ideas. The reception was an absolute blast, he kept the dance floor lively and had great transitions. He also provided music and speakers for the patio area, which was great for providing a separate vibe. If you want a professional, helpful, and experienced DJ, I absolutely recommend hiring Hank for your event.
