Overall, I was very happy with Bobbie's bridal. I got my wedding dress there, and we also rented the tuxes for the groom & groomsmen there. I liked how they acted professional, but not pushy at the dress shopping experience, and I had a lot of fun there trying on dresses! They helped me pick the right dress for me in a fun, low-stress environment. The tuxes turned out really well. They were exactly what we ordered, and the quality was very high. They also kept in touch with us throughout the process.

I did not have a good experience with this bridal salon as it pertains to purchasing my gown, however I will say that the tux rental went smoothly and my husband was happy with everything.
Picking out a dress went smoothly for me and the sales person was very nice. I was getting a late start on buying my dress, so I paid an extra $100 (or so) to pay for rush delivery. The dress came in on time and it seemed like everything was going to be fine. Then I tried on the dress and it was at least 2 inches too short, and I had paid an extra $125 for extra length. The salesgirl who was helping me when I tried it on didn't seem to notice or think that it was a problem, so I asked to speak with the manager. She loosened it up in my midsection and it helped maybe with 1/4 inch, but that was it. She told me it was most likely too short because it was bunching in my waist. I wasn't sure why that should matter, since I ordered the dress in the size that I was 3 months prior to that and since then had lost 20 pounds, including a few inches off my waist. She said that she could try to send it back to Alfred Angelo, but that there were no guarantees that I would get a new dress back if it was cut to within their specifications, so there was a good possibility that I could get the same dress back and not have as much time to get it altered. At that point, I panicked and just took the dress with me...I figured it was better to at least have a dress than not have it until 2 or 3 weeks later! I regret doing that and in retrospect I should have demanded that she contact the dress manufacturer and do whatever she needed to do to make it right. I paid for extra length and I do not believe I got it. The dress manufacturer messed up, but the manager at Bobbie's really didn't offer to do anything to make it right for me or to fight for me. She didn't measure the dress herself to see if it seemed short... she just loosened it up a little and said if I was still planning to lose weight that it could be OK then because it wouldn't bunch as much in the waistline. I couldn't believe it. The only good thing that came out of that situation was they referred me to the person who did my alterations, who was wonderful-- Nonie's Alterations in Bloomington. She told me it had nothing to do with my waist and it just looked to her like the manufacturer didn't cut the dress long enough.
We also had a bit of an issue with the bridesmaid dresses-- there was going to be a delivery fee to get the dresses into the store, and then I would have to pay an additional fee to get the dresses to my bridesmaids who all lived out of state. So, rather than do that, they decided to just get the dresses at their local bridal shops, and that caused a problem at Bobbie's for the one person who called in her measurements--- even though the dresses had not yet been ordered she was going to be charged $30 for cancelling. But- she had never been told about the fee, and neither had I.
So, all in all-- the tux rental here is good, but my experience on the bridal side of it left a lot to be desired. I don't think they are bad people, I just think they could have handled things differently and with a little more professionalism.

I was extremely disappointed in the selection of dresses. For someone who is a size 20 they didn't have barely any dresses in my size to try on. The only ones I found were cheap looking and plain. I would like to be able to try it on and decide if it looks ok on myself not guess and then have something ordered and end up not liking it. I think I spent all of ten minutes in there before I decided it was a waste of time. Not everybody who gets married is tiny.

I would NEVER recommend Bobbie's or Savvi Formalwear to any bride or groom! Yes, I purchased my dress from there and I loved it, but I had nothing but problems after that. They ordered the incorrect bridesmaid dresses for my girls (right color and designer, wrong dresses and of course more expensive). I was told when I confronted the issue that those were the dresses that I had requested and if I wanted the other dresses I would have to pay for the other ones to be sent back and then pay for rush delivery on the new ones (my wedding was in 3 months). We kept the wrong dresses. Then on the day of the wedding my husband was given a musical bow tie on "accident" that played "here comes the bride" constantly. He had to go exchange that hours before the ceremony and ran into a groomsman exchanging his pants because he was given the wrong size. Then when we all met for pictures before the ceremony the best man had an ivory shirt and all of the other guys had white shirts. When my husband returned his tux the next day and confronted them he didn't even get an apology.

I was married during the questionable winter weather. Bobbie\'s Bridal and Savvi Formalwear assured me that inspict of bad weather they would take care of my needs. They were awsome. I used Bobbie\'s Bridal in Peoria for my dress, bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses. The store was excellent. The staff was efficient, courtous, helpful and knew what they were doing. Everything was perfect. Then we used Savvi Formalwear for our tuxedos. We had excellent service. My gentlemen sent in wrong measurements but Savvi made everything perfect.

If I had to do it over again, I would not choose Bobbie's Bridal. They definitely don't give you the dress experiences that you see on tv. The level of training and professionalism is very low. I bought my dress, bridesmaids dresses, flowergifl dresses, and tuxes there. Don't buy the tuxes there just because you get the free invites! The choices of free options are ridiculous. They are basically all just plain white card stock with black ink. Definitely no pizazz whatsoever. They measured my husband wrong at first and gave him something WAY too small to try on. And then when the day came to pick up the tuxes my father in law tried his on and the sleeves were too long. They took them in the back to shorten them and they actually ended up lengthening them! AFter that they took them back again and put it back in the bag. Thank God he took it out again...they left the sleeves all wrinkly and bunched up. Ridiculous. I'm glad that I decided to just take all of the dresses to an outside seamstress! The whole experience lacked professionalism.

I knew what dress I wanted when going into the store. They were able to order the dress and get it in, in a timely manner. They were easy working with and had a wide selection of dresses. I called them lots of times and asked questions and they never seemed annoyed by any of the million wedding questions I asked. Great staff.

I loved working with Bobbie's/Savvi! The girls were very helpful. We also got free invitations, and the groom's tux was free. The seamstress was just AWESOME! Her alterations were great, and she was very reasonably priced. Bobbie's is a great place to go!

I absolutely loved my dress that I found at Bobbies Bridal! I actually found it in their Peoria branch. I also bought my veil and shoes from Bobbies Bridal, that I loved also. They also did the alterations on my dress there, I feel they could of listened a little bit more to my suggestion and not taken my dress in so much. Overall, I love the products they have there.

We got my wedding dress, our bridesmaids dresses, and our tuxes from here (Savvi Formalwear actually rents the tuxedos). We had a horrible experience. My dress came in quickly and was fine, though, which was excellent. We had to send back two of the bridesmaids dresses because of how poorly they were made. They advertised a free honeymoon, which was a scam. We did get discounted invitations and that was overall fine. The worst part were the tuxedos. A lot of them were wrong, and they were all cheap looking. They had holes in them...and for the amount of money they cost that is completely unacceptable. We complained after the wedding and they were unreceptive to what we said. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Oh wow....if I could have reviewed this place before the wedding - you would have heard me RAVING. Because, honestly...the dress, invitations and tux ordering process were smooth sailing. However, nothing like being completely incompetent when it came to delivering the tuxes or customer service! We had special instructions for one tux - which were confirmed at least 4 different times-that never happened (causing a groomsman to drive 50 miles out of his way to pick up his tux when he had prior obligations). My father's tux was faulty, but the people were so rude there - he just let it go because he didn't want to deal with it. We had an emergency with an usher and they weren't flexible at all, didn't listen to instructions and added more stress to my days leading up to my wedding. I actually spoke to Bobbie herself the day before my wedding and she was downright rude. If a friend of mine orders their dresses from Bobbie's bridal, I may have to decline standing up because I really wouldn't support doing business with them again.

Takes a long time to get dress. Give yourself extra time so you don't stress!

I was brave enough to order my dress online. They set me up with someone that could do alterations even though I purchased elsewhere. I brought in my dress to try on with jewelry, undergarments, and accessories which I ended up purchasing from them.

We got free invites and discounts on dresses and tuxes, but it was prom season and the busyness affected the quality of service. Had to fix a few mishaps before the wedding because some details were not written down
