We can probably give Lindsay of Bliss Events all the credit for our wedding turning out as smoothly and perfectly as it did. From the start, Lindsay was able to take our cacophony of ideas and translate and organize them into our personal wedding synthesis. She took the lead on vendor contract negotiations and really advocated for us when she felt that something wasn't right. We were able to stay within our budget thanks to Lindsay's cost-saving ideas and network of wedding service professionals.

Lindsay's sense of reality when it comes to planning a wedding is extremely useful (and probably serves her well when dealing with, ahem, bridezillas (myself not excluded) ). Also worth noting is Lindsay's enormous creativity and ability to exercise that creativity under pressure.

I still maintain that hiring a wedding planner was the best thing we could have done both for our event and for our own sanity, and hiring Lindsay really facilitated all our wedding dreams coming to fruition.

Hiring Bliss Events as our wedding coordinator was the most important decision we made for our wedding. Lindsay sat down with us and went through a check list and asked questions that never even occurred to either of us. This initial meeting helped up determine a task list to better organize what needed to be done and by when. Lindsay helped us with everything, and seems to have thought of everything!

In dealing with the vendors Lindsay was very professional. She took the reigns when the DJ had flaked out in the last minute and would not return our calls. She had an alternate ready to go in less than twenty-four hours. Not only that, but Lindsay was so keen and methodical that she noticed discrepancies on bids from our vendors, and also compared bids and often got us lower prices based on competition. These seemingly minute details actually ended up saving us a few thousand dollars, and if I would have been doing it alone I doubt I would have even caught half the overcharges.

Bliss Events orchestrated our wedding beautifully. And our wedding day was just that, and because we worked so closely with Lindsay that the wedding and reception happened flawlessly and just the way we had planned.
