We were pleased with the venue and reception. The lodge was warm ,cosy, intimate and beautiful. We had 82 guests and it was the perfect size for our group. Lovely to have such a beautiful venue with terrific service and delicious food. Several people said it was the most fun they had at a wedding. Great for dancing and socializing. My daughter had the wedding of her dreams at a very reasonable cost. She saw a wedding at the Stanley that would have cost at least there times as much and said she would not have traded. Nice that the wedding place had accommodations there and everyone could socialize before and after all events.

We had a wonderful experience with our wedding and Rosemary was amazing! We had a friend marry us and it was his first time to do a ceremony and she was so helpful at our rehearsal providing suggestions and feedback when asked. On the day of the wedding she was right there making sure things went smoothly. We were married on the Pavillion in March so of course when bad weather and cold came they were able to drop down the sides of the Pavillion and put the space heaters out. Our guests were comfortable and able to enjoy the ceremony. Overall we have had such positive feedback about our wedding. The scenery is the best in Estes Park for a wedding! Definitely recommend it!

Black Canyon is the most beautiful place with several different options of ceremony sights. When you book your wedding, you get the entire property for the whole day. We changed our ceremony sight late in the game and they didn't miss a beat. They were very easy to work with and the condo was very nice.

We got married on August 4, 2012 at Black Canyon Inn under the pavillion. The views were absolutely incredible, the wedding went perfectly, and the management of Black Canyon is extremely friendly and helpful. The condo we stayed in was absolutely everything we had hoped for, and our guests really never wanted to leave. The only problem I had was with the wedding coordinator, Laura. During our rehearsal, several of the groomsmen had just arrived by car to CO. When they arrived, they ran down to the rehearsal as they were a few minutes late. During the rehearsal they were a little rowdy, as guys get after 16 hour car rides and seeing each other for the first time in almost a year. Laura was visibly and audibly upset with the group, as she had to talk over them a few times. She allowed everyone to have their drinks with them during the rehearsal, but yelled and rolled her eyes at the group several times. Afterwards, as it fell dark, the wedding party and a couple family members stayed in the same rehearsal area to visit with one another and grill. Laura came back down to accuse the group of a "wet spot that smells like beer" on the pavillion flloor, and told us that drinks and food were not allowed in the area. She then told us that everyone had to leave the area. During the rehearsal, it was fine to have drinks there...which left us all feeling belittled and offended. Her lack of professionalism and welcoming attitude left me wanting a different coordinator for the day of.

I would recommend this spot to anyone getting married. Our pictures were incredible and the guests were all very pleased with the views and wedding itself. The only complaints I got were about Laura.

Laura and crew at the Black Canyon Inn were so nice. Laura was so patient while my husband and I tried to figure out exactly where we wanted the seating to be set up for the ceremony (we finally did the night before). She did a great job running the ceremony and getting everybody going down the isle on queue. She was attentive and very calm. Our room was very nice too. Good size for 7 of us to get ready!

Overall the Black Canyon Inn did a wonderful job and helped make our ceremony beautiful and smooth going. A great place for your ceremony. Lots of picture spots with awesome views.

The venue was just as beautiful in person as it looks on the website! We couldn't have asked for a better location for our ceremony. The people at Black Canyon Inn were great to work with; friendly and quick to respond to all our questions. The price was reasonable, and it included 3 nights lodging in a lovely condo. We are definitely happy with our decision to get married in Estes Park!

We had our ceremony at the pavilion at Black Canyon Inn and our reception in the loft room at Twin Owls Steakhouse located on site of BC. All of our guests were amazed at the beautiful views, as were we when we originally viewed the location. Although the rooms are a bit pricey, the ceremony and reception are priced fairly. Laura did a great job coordinating the ceremony and making sure everything ran perfect and smoothly, making my wedding day stress free. My husband and a few of our guests staying in Estes Park were almost evacuated due to fires in the area, and Laura was very helpful in finding them alternative accommodations. I felt she really went out of her way to ensure our wedding would be perfect! The staff at Twin Owls restaurant were very attentive and we couldn't be more pleased with the level of service we received. It was awesome to just relax and enjoy the wedding day as everything was taken care of, they even boxed up the remaining pieces of cake without our asking. Everyone commented on how great the food was (I recommend the elk!). Sandra was great at answering quickly all emails and phone calls. Myself as well as some of my guests have food allergies and she was very helpful at providing alternative choices and going out of her way to make us feel as comfortable as possible in our food choices. I have no complaints about Black Canyon or Twin Owls! I recommend both if you're looking for a rustic, mountain venue for your big day! (It goes perfect for a shabby chic wedding theme, which is what I did for my wedding :)

The Black Canyon was a truly scenic spot for our wedding ceremony. We chose the pavilion spot and it was beautiful. The only downfall was that the wind made it too risky for our flower arrangements to be set up. The wind also made it impossible to wear my veil but nothing to do with BCI! The girls were very helpful throughout the planning process and worked with Twin Owls Steakhouse to coordinate the reception. Our guests LOVED the condos they stayed in. Very clean and modern accommodations. We are very happy with our choice to have our wedding at the Black Canyon Inn!

If you’re looking for the perfect Estes Park destination wedding site, look no further than the Black Canyon Inn. The pictures on their website don’t begin to do this beautiful location justice! We planned our destination wedding from across the country, and we never even got to step foot on the property until three days before our ceremony. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were blown away. Our families reserved at least nine rooms all over the Inn, and everyone fell in love with the comfortable, gorgeous accommodations. Laura and the rest of the staff made the wedding planning a cinch and provided everything we needed during our stay. Our ceremony took place at the pavilion, and we couldn’t imagine a more breathtaking place to exchange our vows. It perfectly seated our 80 guests, and very few floral arrangements (and absolutely no decorations) were needed. Our guests then enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the lawn, which is literally a few steps away from the pavilion. Then the reception took place at the Twin Owls Steakhouse, which is right on site and amazingly delicious. The natural gifts that the Inn has to offer are by themselves enough of a reason to get married there, but the staff really makes it a perfect experience. We can’t to visit on our anniversaries!

If you want an outdoor wedding, the Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park is the place to be. It's quiet with beautiful views of the mountains and lots of great places for photos. All my guests felt really at home here and I thank the staff for making it a lovely experience.

We had our wedding in the off season to take advantage of the package deal. It was wonderful. When I think of Colorado I think outdoor wedding. The Black Canyon Inn is the perfect setting for that. We had our ceremony in the Pavillion and it was gorgeous. Lucky for us the weather was beautiful. Our guests were speechless at the beauty of the property. The staff handled everything we had to pick colors and meals that was really it. If you are looking for a beautiful venue this is your place. It was pretty stressless as well. As far as wedding planning goes. I would do it all over again. We plan on returning for many anniversaries as well.

The only thing we wish was different was if they allowed an aisle runner, and better customer service at the time of preparation. The wedding coordinator Laura did not make any attempt to contact us how we were doing with the preparation. All in all, we were happy with how everything turned out: perfect weather, small wedding and light, easy reception that involved just hanging with the family together with by good food at the Twin Owl's steak house.

Our entire wedding and reception were absolutely perfect thanks to The Black Canyon Inn and Twin Owls Steakhouse. Once we decided that we wanted to get married there, the staff took over the rest of the details. Because we were coming from across the country, it was so nice to know that Laura was taking care of everything. The vendors that she referred us to were PERFECT! I have had so many compliments on our wedding pictures because BCI is just the most gorgeous place. The reception was perfect. Everyone was amazing to work with. Our guests had a great time. Our condo was gorgeous. Words cannot describe how happy we were with our experience and the price is more than affordable. Anyone wishing to have their wedding here should book it without hesitation.

My husband and I wanted to go for simplicity for planning our wedding. The Black Canyon Inn offers the whole package! We had a small group (relatively) and an off season wedding, so the price was also fantastic. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the staff wonderful to work with. They'll help you prepare for your wedding right down to the moment you hit the aisle. We held our ceremony in the pavilion where the view is breathtaking. If you choose a cooler month, they offer heaters and pull the sides down on the venue. Almost our entire guest list stayed on site, which made it a lot of fun and simple to meet up with everyone and spend time with guests. Everyone loved the accommodations and really enjoyed the change of scenery (a lot of guests were from Texas). We plan to make the Black Canyon Inn a regular routine for anniversaries! I can't wait to back!

Laura was great! We were out-of-town, so she was especially understanding of all of our questions and concerns. She even had a blanket ready when I came out from our snow-covered vows! Laura truly "gets it," and I didn't worry about a thing that she was part of.
