Why can't I give them 6 out of 5 stars????
Shannon, the servers, and interns were completely awesome on our wedding day. They went above and beyond what they were required to do. One of the servers even tied my dad's tie for him so my dad wouldn't have to fuss with it.
When we first started looking for a caterer for our wedding six months ago, Shannon was both the first to respond to our email as well as the most friendly. Big City worked with our (smallish) budget, and still managed to give us serious bang for our buck.
Every single thing I ate at my wedding was delicious. The crepes, though, drew RAVE reviews from all of the guests... people are still talking about them, days later. The displays were absolutely beautiful, too. Everything looked appetizing and was artfully displayed.
I seriously can't say enough good things about Big City Catering. I would recommend them to any future bride without hesitation or reservation.

My first contact with Big City was a recommendation from my future sister in law.
After contacting the company, I was immediatly contacted by Shannon. Her phone manner was extremely polite, professional, calming and helpful.
Shannon and I set up a dinner appointment after corresponding via email for a several days.
We hit it off immediately and I knew there was no one else I wanted to handle my wedding.
We set up a tasting with my possible menu and my parents and I loved the food. My mother is extremely picky and was very impressed with the presentation, appearance and taste of the food.
Shannon was working another wedding that day so she was unable to work my event. She set me up with her intern, Callie and also informed me that Tom, the Owner, would be at my wedding.
From then on, my meetings and all contact was with Shannon and Callie. Callie was exceptional to work with. She's extremely patient, easy- going, an excellent listener and pays attention to detail.
She was the 'Day of' Coordinator at my wedding and handled every detail to perfection.
The food was exceptional. We had a buffet style dinner. There were some extremely picky, hard-to-please people at our wedding and they LOVED the food. In fact, my mother says it's something she keeps hearing from our relatives!
In additon, the wait staff and bartenders were professional and courteous. My guests loved everything and everyone.
The tables were set exactly as planned and everything looked wonderful.
I look forward to working with Big City in the future and will highly recommend them to anyone.

Our wedding would not have been the same without Big Citys services. Shannon is AMAZING and always there if I had any questions or concerns. She went above and beyond on the day of the wedding and did everything in her power to make our day perfect. I think every single person came up to me at the wedding and raved about how great the food was!! Even weeks after the wedding they were still taking about the food! The best part is that their prices are great too!
Everyone at Big City is great from the servers to the bartenders to the owners! They will do whatever it takes to make you happy and they actually enjoy doing it!

Big City Catering was by far the easiest to work with. They gave us ways to save, was very informative, and guided us in better directions as what would be good to serve. The day of the wedding, they were all "All-Stars" and Shannon was AMAZING!!! I have never seen anyone do as much as she did and pull everything off perfectly, far exceeding our expectations. Shannon and Big City, YOU GUYS ROCK!!

Before my wedding last August 2009 I did my homework... I spent a great deal of time interviewing several caterers in town (Puff-n-Stuff, Arthurs, John Michael, Cuisiniers, etc.) trying their food, and comparing their services and prices. I spoke to 8 different caterers... after all a wedding is such an important life event. I wanted a forever lasting memory of it for everyone involved. I chose Big City for several reasons... they were always responsive... very attentive, flexible and accomodating, their food was at par with other big caterers in town and price was competitive. Many of my guests made comments to me later (and they are brutally honest)... most of them were pleased with Big City's food and only one expressed that his steak was not medium but well, yet everyone agreed that flavors, presenatation and the people working the event were great. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy the food much myself... nerves. In a nutshell, I was happy with my choice and if I could do it all over again I will definitely contact Shannon at Big City again. For those brides to be outhere having fun planning their day, when you are doing your homework make sure you get to know your caterer well and that you are comfortable with everything and everyone working your event. First off I would like to give a special Thank you to Shannon who was my catering specialist. She went well above her "catering" duties and helped me in so many ways. She was in a sense like my own Wedding Planner. She helped in many of my decisions and introduced me to many other vendors who also did a wonderful job at my wedding. Not only is there food exceptional but they also care about all the other aspects of your wedding. Thank you Shannon and Big City for making my wedding wonderful. =)

Working with Big City Catering was an absolute pleasure. They were there whenever I needed them and provided amazing food and service. My planner Shannon was especially wonderful. She kept me calm throughout the process and made sure that anything I needed was taken care of. I would reccomend Big City Catering for any event small or large. They did a fabulous job!

The food was wonderful, my guests are still talking about how great the food was. Everything when off very well the staff was nice and they took care of all our needs for the wedding!! Big City Catering and specifically Shannon Tarrant did an absolutely amazing job. Not only did they handle every aspect of our wedding through their full package, the personal touch made them seem more like a family than a vendor. We were blown away at the attention to detail and the food quality. We couldn’t have imagined this day go any better.

Big City was amazing! I'd highly recommend their services for catering and wedding planning. They are organized, flexible and very easy to work with. Their staff is friendly and on top of their game. For a father, there's enough to deal with when your daughter gets married. But Big City made everything special, perfect and easy. The personnel, incredible, the food, spectacular, the service, extraordinary. There wasn't one hiccup and if there was, no one saw it. They love what they do, and it shows...people have been talking about the food and the event ever since...They are the Best at what they do and exceeded expectations at every point. Bravo!
