    Beth and her team catered our wedding at the HideOut on 7/8/17. We booked her a little over a year prior to our wedding and from the get go, Christy was great to work with. She set up our tasting and helped us develop a menu we knew our guests would love. Christy also coordinated all our rentals and was so helpful with every step of the process, even when our plans changed numerous times by adding things or guests. We had fried mac and cheese bites, tomato soup mini mugs & grilled cheese bites, and chicken and waffle bites as our passed appetizers in addition to their meats, cheeses, and fruit display as a station. Everything they brought for the buffet and appetizers, matched our decor perfectly. Our dinner was the chicken with marsala caper sauce, trip tip, spinach and ricotta gnocchi, and the salad with blackberry zinfandel vinaigrette. Everything was delicious. We expected a little difference between the food at the tasting and the food at the wedding as it was being prepared in mass quantity, but it was the same quality and had the same great taste as our tasting! All of our guests loved the food and still talk about how good it was! We could not have asked for a better caterer! The dancing waiter was a plus! Beth’s whole crew really enjoys what they do and did an amazing job at our wedding!

    We had many different dietary considerations and found Beth to cater our wedding. Not only was she able to meet all our needs the food was amazing. She was able to craft a unique menu following our requests that was perfect for the number of guests we had and it was delicious.

    Working with Beth Sogaard for our wedding at Amador Cellars was an amazing experience! The team was super accommodating, easy to work with and was seamless onsite. I would highly recommend Beth Sogaard to anyone planning a wedding/event in the area!

    Beth Sogaard catering provided my daughter's wedding food. It was delicious and many people had said that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We worked with Geri who was well organized, and very helpful. She listened to what kind of food we were looking for and created a perfect menu.

    Beth Sogaard and her staff catered our recent wedding for 300 guests. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious! We had many comments of that was the best wedding food I've ever had! Our event coordinator was Geri who was always pleasant and easy to work with! We felt like our event was truly important! The wait staff was professional and efficient. Food was reasonably priced especially considering quality.

    Beth Sogaard and her staff catered our daughter's wedding in August at Helwig Winery. Oh my goodness! Everything was WAY above and beyond even my wildest expectations! The presentation of the food and the table decorations were simply amazing. She incorporated my daughter's theme of pearls and vintage into the tables in the most creative and beautiful way! Everyone at the wedding raved about everything! The appetizers were breathtaking to look at (and eat), the buffet was the most delicious food I have every tasted (the fig pork tenderloin was to die for), and finally the dessert bar was quite honestly breathtaking to look at and eat. It was everything and more than what we expected. We could not have even dreamed that the food could be one of the most amazing parts of the wedding, but it was! Thank you so much Beth and Geri and everyone who made Jenni's day so special!

    I will never use another caterer in my life. Chef Beth is so talented and we are so blessed to have her in our area! Thank you Beth!!!

    Beth Sogaard's catering company recently catered my son's wedding. My son and his fiance were on a limited budget. The coordinator at Beth's went all out to provide a beautiful set up for the couple and their guests. The food was wonderful and beautifully prepared.
    I would highly recommend Beth and her staff for any occasion.

    I was married in March 2011 and my guests raved about the quality of the food provided by Glory and her staff at Beth Sogaard Catering. A lot of people were nervous when they found out we were having a buffet for 150 people assuming that the quality of the food wouldn't be as good as a served meal, but they were so wrong! We even had extra food so some guests were able to take home leftovers which they loved. My husband and I aren't very traditional, so instead of a cake we had homemade ice cream sandwiches with homemade chocolate chip cookies and they were amazing! I would suggest you give them a try, you will not be disappointed with their food or their beautiful presentation!

    Worked with Glory and Beth for my winery wedding. They were willing to drive to Sacramento for our initial planning meeting to go over details for the menu, rentals, decor, timing, etc. They were more than just food - they coordinated the tables, chairs, linens, set up, bar, etc. Everything ran extremely smoothly on the wedding day. It started out raining all morning and early afternoon, but I received a call from Glory to let me know that everything was fine and she gave me her cell phone number if there were any questions or last minute issues. It was nice to work with a caterer who knew the venue and had other great local vendors to recommend (DJ and cake baker). Everything was beautiful.

    Beth Sogaard Catering was wonderful. Manager Steve Lach practically served as my wedding planner by asking questions (never pressuring) to help us figure out how we wanted the day to flow. He secured all of our rentals, including a tent when the forecast changed the night before to suddenly include rain. Last but certainly not least, the food was great!

    Beth Sogaard Catering was awesome!!! They did everything perfect!!! The decor was beautiful! The cake and food was beautiful and very delicious!!! Steve and everyone were very easy to work with! I would recommend Beth Sogaard Catering to anyone and everyone!!! You will enjoy everything about them!!

    Beth Sogaard Catering was great! We used them at our wedding at Helwig Winery in October. They were great helping us create the perfect menu for our guests and able to adjust things based on our requests or needs. They are super easy to work with and clearly know what they are doing! It was really important to my husband and I that we had good food at the wedding, as well as have some unique options. You will not get a boring chicken or fish meal with Chef Beth! We were very happy with everything and would recommend Chef Beth for other events and weddings. We had several comments during and after the wedding saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Thank you Beth!

    Christy and the team at Beth Sogaard Catering did a fabulous job catering our wedding reception. We received several comments on how wonderful the food was - and it was! The team made sure that, as the wedding couple, our plates were kept full and brought us appetizers directly during the cocktail hour. The team was extremely professional and made sure that every piece of the event was perfect. The table set-up for the reception was beautiful. We really could not have asked for anything more. Christy met with us in the month leading up to the wedding to make sure all her questions and ours were answered. Thank you SO MUCH to Beth Sogaard Catering for a beautiful delicious wedding reception.

    We worked with Chef Beth on the food for our wedding in May 2011 and with Glory (event planner) on all the other event details.

    Catering was very important to us, especially as my husband is a chef and a major foodie - this was his top priority. From our first meeting with Beth, the two of them just clicked. We asked her to do food that was of a higher level than your standard client would request. We weren't doing mini crab cakes, and we weren't doing beef or chicken entrees. Beth has mad skills and rose to the occasion 100%. She really listened to my husband's many requests and preferences and came up with an unbelievable menu using local, seasonal, sustainable ingredients. We had five passed hors d'oeuvres - including beef tartar cones, Niman Ranch pork cheek on polenta rounds, and lobster-stuffed new potatoes. We had a three course plated dinner - a salad course, a soup course with confit of quail and spring veggies with mushroom consume (poured table-side), and three entree selections - seared California halibut, balsamic-grilled pork tenderloin (TO DIE FOR) and spring veggie risotto. And as I am a dessert fiend, we had an awesome dessert spread of mini desserts.

    We did a tasting one year before the wedding and they did a wonderful job with the food and presentation - they served us full portions of everything exactly how they would at the wedding, table set nicely and everything. And I can honestly say that one of the dishes was EVEN better on the day of the wedding - despite being mass produced in a tent outside at a vineyard! It's Beth's company, but she's actually the one who was in the tent cooking. She is awesome and puts a lot of love into her work.

    Glory helped us plan all the event details - and it's great that they are your centralized point for everything you need, including all rentals - table ware, tables, chairs, etc. She was there on the day of the event and made sure everything met our specifications. I didn't have to talk to her once and everything went perfectly.

    Beth Sogaard catering handled our foodie food wedding with flying colors. And we also used them for two other events on the same weekend - our rehearsal dinner (a high-end bbq feel) and our day-after brunch at my parent's home in the area. These two events were also handled with grace and professionalism by great staff, and the food was impeccable.

    We got a ridiculous amount of compliments on our wedding food. Believe me, our guests had expectations coming in, but Beth Sogaard did not disappoint. Plus, they were a joy to work with. They are definitely a cut above and highly preferred in the entire area they serve.

    Two days after I returned from my honeymoon, my new husband received a call from a cousin. She said that she felt a responsibility to let us know that ten people from her immediate family had gotten sick at our wedding. She said those who got sick all noted that they ate the shrimp from the taco bar and that her daughter-in-law even noted the mushy texture, but loves shrimp so she gave it a pass. After that call, the flood gates opened. My sister told me that all she ate was shrimp, and she spent the night cramping over the toilet. My mom's best friend, who had traveled 6 hours to make the trip had thrown up all night. We had guests from 4-years old to 80 telling us that they had spent our wedding night over the toilet. And those were the close family members who came forward. I didn't take a poll. In fact, I was afraid to talk to people about my wedding for fear that they would confess that they too had gotten sick.

    Many of my guests had asked us to let them know so that they would be able to handle it. "It's probably their supplier," many people said to me. But when I emailed Beth Soogard, I had to go back and forth to even get them to admit that so many people sick was not a coincidence. So this was how I spent the first few weeks back from my wedding. Back & forth before they even admitted that if they might be at fault. Finally, they said that they sent me a check in the mail.

    The check arrived three weeks later It was in the amount of $400. My bill for catering came to $16,000. Apparently more than twenty people getting horribly sick at my wedding is worth $400.

    My planner has already begun suggesting that clients do not use them. Not just because people got sick, but because of their response. No one called me. I didn't get an apology or even an acknowledgment that anything went wrong.

    That was my one wedding. And I would have paid any price to have everyone leave talking about the beautiful flowers. Not the fact that they all got sick.
