I purchased my wedding gown from Belle Saison back in March and I have loved my entire experience with this store! I was a little intimidated when we walked in to look at gowns as we were told just to walk around and pick dresses ourselves. Once we had collected about 10, Kim showed me to the fitting room where I tried on 3 that were not right on my body. Kim asked if she could just skip to the dress she knew I would like, I agreed, and then proceeded to put on my dream gown! Kim helped me select a beaded belt to accentuate my waist as well as a gorgeous cathedral length veil with sparkles on it. I LOVE my bridal look!

The other associates in the store have been so helpful when I've gone in to pick up my dress for alterations, fittings, pressings, and cleanings - I love this store. I would highly recommend Belle Saison to anyone in the Austin area who is looking for a wedding gown!

Emily was amazing helping me select my dress. Very patient every time I came in to try it on again and again to make sure it was the one and just to try it on.. hehe. All the staff at Belle Saison is very friendly and helpful. Wonderful bridal boutique experience

The girls here were extremely helpful and made the whole experience much less stressful. They were all so very nice and made this a fun experience. The dress was absolutely stunning!

Overall, had a wonderful experience with Belle Saison. I already had my dress bought and picked out from another store but when I was shopping with my mom for her dress at Belle Saison we stumbled upon THE dress and I fell in love with it. I didn't buy it that day but came back upwards of 5 times to try it on again or to compare it to my fiance's uniform, the girls at the store were more than helpful and did a fantastic job selling the dress. Since my wedding was so close we ended up having to get the sample dress, which wasn't a problem at all. I received a bit of a discount as well for it being the sample. Since it was 6" too long they offered me a list of seamstresses nearby who could help.
The cost for the dress seemed a bit much to me. I found it other places for $150 cheaper, however I didn't have the time to order it so I had to pay up.

Belle Saison has the lovely dresses for brides who want to spend under $1K. The first dress I tried on, I ended up buying for my wedding. I was advised by the extremely knowledgeable and helpful Elizabeth, who managed to save me a couple hundred dollars by suggesting I order a petite size and save on alterations. Though this store is not the most shi-shi of bridal salons, there is still great service and a wide selection of dresses. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I absolutely loved my Allure dress from Belle Saison! I bought my dress 5 months before my wedding and received $100 off a veil and $65 off shoes which was great! I also paid an extra $150 for custom length of the dress and when the dress came in months later (6 weeks before my wedding), the length was WRONG. Also, they told me to order a size 6 rather than a 4 and I had to pay $400 for alterations because it was way too big. I shouldn't have trusted them. The consultant who was helping me the day I bought my dress smelled like smoke and kept trying to put her two sense in "I like this one" "this one is better", I thought it was rude and unprofessional. I did like one of the ladies at the front desk who was so sweet and helped us get everything figured out. They also preserved my dress for free.

I chose Belle Saison not only because they were the only shop that had the dress I wanted but also because they have a great group of ladies. We worked with Elizabeth which was initially alright until my dress came in and I realized the size we ordered was wrong. A word of advice...the dress you are trying on may be stretched out and actually a size bigger than the tag size noted so be sure to get measured and get the right size ordered for your measurements. I had to have 3 dress fittings to let out my dress and lose about 15lbs in order to fit in it. This of course cost an arm and a leg in alterations, not to mention adding stress and tears. I did let the shop know about the headache this caused and unfortunately felt a chill from Elizabeth after that and she never once appologized. But all the other ladies were so helpful and wondeful and very appologitic and helped to make up for it. I got my entire wedding attire from them right down to the dying of my shoes and everything turned out great. They also have some added perks you can take advantage of...such as a free bridal portrait session with Ron Parks photography, and I did take advantage of that and it was wonderful. Thank you Belle Saison for helping me through this process and being a part of my special day.

I had gone to several different bridal shops looking for my wedding dress and found the perfect one at Belle Saison. The prices were reasonable and they had a great package that included discounts and credits on all my accessory needs.

We ordered all of the bridesmaid dresses from Belle Saison. Each girl went in to be measured well in advance of the wedding and trusted the salesperson's expertise on sizes. Every single one of my 6 bridesmaids dresses were HUGE. One of the girls was instructed to order a plus sized dress for $75.00 up charge. When the dress came in, it had to be tailored down to a normal size (She hadn't lost weight). She was so offended and felt so ripped off. The other girls were just annoyed that they were given bad advice from someone who claimed she knew exactly what she was doing. So either our dress designer changed his size template, or she did NOT know exactly what she was doing. Sizing aside, we did recieve timely, attentive, personal service and the ladies at the store wre very nice and responsive. They stayed open late for one of my girls and were always super friendly. - Just wouldn't trust their sizing advice if I had to do it again.

I originally fell in love with a $7,000 dress. I knew I didn't want to spend that much money on a dress to be worn for only one night. After shopping around, I found Belle Saison. After trying on a few that I picked out, Elizabeth picked one out that I didn't think I would like, but tried on nevertheless. It was THE dress! She had listened to everything I said and pulled the perfect dress! Not only was it perfect, but it was under $1000 too!! My mom and I were in heaven.

They have so many gorgeous dresses to choose from at such affordable rates. They also have amazing sales packages that give you discounts on your shoes, jewelery, veil, etc. Granted, a lot of these are very expensive, but the discount combined with the service makes it all worth it. I received updates on the status of my order, when things were expected to arrive, when they actually arrived... they were just fantastic.

They even stored my dress for me up until the wedding date, had it steamed along with my veil, and after the big day, we dropped it off for them to clean it, press it, and professionally box and store it so it will be preserved forever. This is the best bridal salon in the Austin area!!

I visited Belle Saison in October of 2009 for my May 2010 wedding. Kim Keepers was the associate assigned to help me and she was very helpful during the entire process. She was quite firm in her opinions, if you asked for them, which was helpful to the indecisive bride (me). Kim also kept me in the loop on all of the shipping and arrival dates for my dress and my accessories. In general, the store had a good selection of dresses from different designers, and a good range of prices. I visited David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo prior to visiting Belle Saison, and although their dresses were slightly more affordable (on average) and their salespeople were very nice and attentive, I didn't find "the dress" at those locations. I felt like Belle Saison's prices could have been a little more reasonable but overall it wasn't too bad. I received a cute hair accessory for free as part of my "package deal" and I received $60 off my wedding shoes (which were overpriced anyway, in my opinion). Be sure you look for a dress early in your engagement, because shipping times vary based on the manufacturer and the time of year that you order. I had my dress shipped via rush shipping (extra $150) because I didn't want to cut it too close. I ordered at the end of October and my dress came in near the beginning of February, which was fortunate considering the alteration and bridal picture schedule. Overall I loved the dress I found at Belle Saison but I thought their prices could have been a little lower. They are also extremely busy, especially on the weekends, so if you're extremely indecisive you might have to come back several times if you want to try on more dresses than your 1-hour block would allow on the weekends.

Belle Saison and Elizabeth took my dream as a little girl and made it reality! I could not have asked for a more beautifel dress, much less a hassle free purchasing experience. Elizabeth works wonders with brides and their entourages. Overall Belle Saison had to be one of my best wedding plannig experiences and I would definietley recommend them to everybody! (espeically Elizabeth)

Elizabeth and Martha were amazing to work with. Elizabeth was always so helpful and helped me select the perfect dress for my wedding. We also selected our bridesmaid’s dresses from Belle Saison and never had an issue with them coming in and received a phone call the moment they arrived at the store. They really took the stress off my shoulders! I was also thrilled that every time I walked in the door, the staff remembered my name! That said a lot to me about how much they cared about my special day.

Martha did an amazing job pressing my gown for all my fittings and the big day! She always had a can do attitude no matter how short of time I needed the dress in. Thank you to everyone at Belle Saison for making my day and my bridesmaid’s day worry free!

This place is great until the dress is actually purchased!

I ordered my dress in October and had a February Wedding. I'm 5'2 so I knew that I would need to get the dress taken up in length but they recommened ordering the dress in petite length. I didn't feel it was necessary as I still needed 3 inches taken up even in petite length but they damn near insisted so I went with it. They failed to tell me that ordering in petite length can take up to a month LONGER to come in! My dress didn't arrive until February 10th. 17 days before my wedding and I still had to get alterations. When I purchased the recommended that I call from time to time to see have them contact the designer and check the status and see if there was any way it could come in earlier (I refused to pay $125 for the dress to come in a 3 DAYS earlier!) When I would call.. they were extremely rude and condescending.

Thank God for Sue and Classy Concepts. I had to pay a 'rush' fee for the short time frame I needed the alterations done in, but she pulled it off.

If you can help it.. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Brides beware, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! I live in Houston, and I was told they carried a specific Maggie Sottero dress in my size so that I could see it on before buying it. So after driving 3-4 hrs to get there, I find out they don't have the dress, but said I could look at their other Lace dresses, which were all in size 8!! I wear a size 16 in wedding dresses so needless to say I couldn't get most of the samples on my body. Finally the sales lady, Kim, disclosed that they have dresses in my size. Every dress she picked was the opposite of what I wanted, but she kept trying to put veils on me and wouldn't listen to me at all.

I ended up choosing a dress that was the TOTAL opposite of my original vision because she had me convinced that my vision looks terrible on my body type. They only looked terrible because they were 10 sizes too small!!!! I spent almost $1000 on my dress, even with the package discount on accessories AND an additional discount on my dress.

The sales lady kept trying to convince me to order a size up so it would qualify to charge me more for a bigger size, when the size I tried on fit perfectly. I finally convinced her I was comfortable with ordering the size I tried on. I thought about purchasing some accessories while I was there, but they were closing. I looked at the price of my veil before taking it off and going to the price counter, (it was $220--which is STILL really high). I told the lady I wanted to get my dress and veil that day. When she told me a price that was way more than I expected, she said, "oh the veil is $330, WITH THE DISCOUNT" I was in shock so I looked over the print out of prices. She put the veil in for $330, charged me $10 for the dress bag, AND they had the nerve to charge me $20 to ship the dress to the store from their warehouse! How are they going to charge you more for purchasing one of THEIR dresses that THEY don't keep in the store? How irritating. I didn't purchase the veil that day, thank God. So she said she would call me when it came in, and she did, a few weeks later. So I drove all the way back out to the store to pick up my dress, it fit perfectly.

I decided to pick out the free accessories that my package included because I didn't want to go back to Austin, AGAIN. I picked out the shoes, and a head piece. I got to the counter to finalize the order and the sales lady looked at me and said that I had to pay over $65. I got angry, and she was sure to let me know that the package includes shoes up to $60,( there wasn't a damn pair of shoes in there for less than $60, including the flip flops.), so I owed almost $20 for the rest of the shoes and not only that but they were going to charge me ANOTHER $20 shipping charge AND a $20 charge to dye the shoes!!!! I didn't have them dye the shoes, I will dye the damn things myself. I was incredulous. I didn't know what to say. And the sales lady had the nerve to say, "oh well, we're putting the shoes and the headpiece in the same box so we're only charging you one shipping charge."

And I had to fight to have them ship the accessories to my house for the shipping charge that I WAS PAYING. At no time had they ever mentioned I could have my dress shipped to my house to avoid the cost of a second trip, (gas, food,hotel,etc)
At this point I was ready to leave the dress in the store and dispute the charge with my bank to get the money back for the dress; Price gouging galore. This store is NOT one that I would recommend to ANY bride that's hoping for a good experience. I am now searching to locate the dress I originally dreamed of wearing in my size to get a better idea of if I want to keep this one.
