I purchased my wedding dress at mia bridals from a sample sale. the size was way too large but arlene at beautiful made it perfect and it fit like a glove!! i highly recommend them!

I was able to take my wedding dress here to get it not only altered- but widen the straps, make a belt, bustle, and they even sewed my headband! they gave us the best one on one attention and transformed my dress into blah... to FABULOUS!!! they were able to personalize my dress just for me- put in boobie cups, pressed it, and made it for easy take off and to put on with extra buttons! then after my bridal portraits they even cleaned, pressed, and put weights at the bottom of my dress for free! (because we had issues with it flipping up on the ends) they were the best team there and did beautiful work- all for a wonderfully fair price too!
they even made one of my bridesmaids (who realized she was pregnant) a corset- lace up back so that we didnt have to buy her another dress!
LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!! the best of the best!

This vendor did the alterations for my wedding gown. They did a great job, and were easy to work with, accomodating to my schedule and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.

I used Beautiful U for alterations. I was a bit skeptical due to some conflicting reviews that I had read, but ended up going with them anyway. I had my first appointment about 6 weeks before the wedding and they finished all the alterations without a problem in a timely fashion. I had them take in some on the sides of the bodice, hem the dress, add cups in the bodice, and add a bustle. The dress fit well and the bustle looked great. The one complaint I had was that my dress had buttons running down the back of the dress down to the train and during alterations something happened where they no longer went straight down my back. It was a minor issue and I'm sure nobody noticed, but it was something that probably should have been corrected.

Beautiful U did my alterations for my wedding dress. They did a fabulous job, but I thought were very expensive! I had heard from many friends they were reasonable but my alterations were $450 for the hem, bustle, putting cups in the top of the dress and a couple other minor adjustments. Maybe this is just what it costs for alterations, but it really seemed like a lot to me. Don't get me wrong, they did a phenominal job with the alterations, my dress looked amazing on me they just seemed expensive, but I dont have anything to compare to so maybe that is the norm with wedding alterations.

Beautiful U Bridal did an absolutely amazing job with my dress!

I had been going to Arlene for alterations for a couple of years after a friend recommended me to her, so it was only natural for me to go here to have my dress fitted and bustled. Arlene and her crew are so awesome. My dress fit perfectly and the work was amazing-and done in such a short amount of time! Arlene also did my birdcage veil which was beautiful.
I wouldn't trust anyone else with my gown and of course, I'll still continue to keep going to Arlene to have my dresses altered.

I was only in Houston for 3 wks before my wedding but Beautiful U Bridal was able to alter my dress in a short amount of time to minimize the 36D-like bust of my gown to fit my 30A frame like a glove. They were also able to customize a simple veil (~$40) that matched my dress perfectly. Arlene is just a doll and everyone else on her staff are just as friendly and genuine.

My dress was fantastic! They needed a lot of time between fittings, and I noticed things (like a sewn-in cup showing through the modesty piece) that needed to be fixed, but they were able to make small changes quickly, and beautifully take my dress in 3 times up until 5 days before the wedding.

I had to receive major alterations on an Amsale gown, and was amazed at the work thta Beautiful U did. I had my dress in plenty of time for the wedding, even after deciding I wanted to add extra bustles to the back of the dress. I was so pleased and I would reccomend them to any bride.

Arlene made my veil for my wedding day - floor length with lace for approx. $200. The veils I was looking at to order were in the $700 to $800 range. Not only was my veil extremely affordable, but she did an excellent job. She created a beautiful veil and was patient with my little changes I wanted made. She was committed to making it perfect for me which she did!

Arlene and her crew are great! I had a challenging dress to say the least, and while it took multiple fittings to get it just right, they worked every trick they knew and it fit PERFECTLY. I moved and danced all night comfortably and without having to constantly pull my dress up (and it was a HEAVY dress). The shop is not fancy, but the service you will get is wonderful, and they truly take an interest in you as a person and as a bride. Eloisa is amazing and Beverly is always so friendly and helpful. All this at a really reasonable price. Loved them and would highly recommend them.

I loved my dress! I tried on hundreds of dresses, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So, I drew a picture and took it to Beautiful U. They worked with my sketch and we designed my dream wedding dress! They were extremely flexible and the price was no more than outright buying a dress.
