Not only were the cakes beautiful, but they were so very good! The bride's cake had a yummy raspberry cream cheese filling.... and the groom's chocolate cake was one of the best I've had!

Elaine was attentive and open to my ideas for the groom cake design and delivered exactly what I had envisioned! My bride's cake was picture perfect!

The cake turned out absolutely gorgeous. They did such an amazing job at making it exactly how I had envisioned it in my mind. It also tasted amazing!

I thought ms. potter was okay, she wasn't mean but she wasn't all that friendly. I actually liked the younger guy I spoke with at the shop a million times more... He was extremely friendly and professional. My cake wasn't exactly like the picture i brought in but it was close enough and the cakes were really delicious!!

Bavarian Cakery had the best cakes that we had tasted! Our cakes turned out great! We got a lot of compliments on how good the cakes look and tasted! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cake!

Bavarian Cakery did an awesome job on both of our wedding cakes! They tasted delicious and looked exactly how we wanted!

Bavarian Cakery was who we used for my daughter's wedding. We found them at the Bridal Extravaganza. Elaine Potter owns the place and is great and they made the cakes look just how my daughter had dreamed. We showed them a picture of how we wanted each one. She gave us taste tests of the different cakes and the different frostings to see which tastes would fit with the decorations that we wanted on the cakes. She really knows her stuff! They were perfect and the deposit was low too!

The cakes were amazing! We loved everything about them! All we did was take a couple pictures of how we wanted our cake to look and They captured every detail! We loved both cakes so much!

I would give more stars if I could! Bavarian Cakery made the bride's and groom's cakes for my daughter's wedding. Both were absolutely delicious, were delivered on time, looked great and were exactly what we ordered. I was especially pleased with the groom's cake. We asked for something a little out of the ordinary, Bavarian Cakery worked from pictures we provided and did a fantastic job. It was one of the highlights of the reception - several guests told me that they had their pictures taken with the groom's cake! Great job!!

I ordered a 4 tier Bavarian cheesecake wedding cake and that cake was delicious!! Everyone loved it and I wish that I could order that cake for every occasion but unfortunately they do not have a retail bakery. I wanted a specific design and shapes. The shapes were correct but the cake did not have the designs that were in the picture. One week before the wedding, I called to confirm that my cake will look exactly like her picture #7 on her website and Elaine said yes. When the cake arrived, it was just plain. Good thing I provided my ribbon and crystals to dress it up. Lots of pictures were taken with the cake but it was not to my liking. However, I do recommend the cake for its tastes. It is a superb cake. The cheesecake part was tasty and the actual cake part was moist. Definitely worth the price.

At the cake tasting, Mary provided us with the best presentation of her cakes and even gave us a piece to go. Our wedding cake was the best cake I have ever tasted!! After the reception, my husband and I went back for more cake! The only problem came when a few days before the wedding, someone from the office called and asked us to remind them of what our order was because they had lost our order! It all turned out just fine, it was just stressful when we had already paid and yet they weren't sure what we ordered.

I'm reading some of the other comments/feedback and I'm honestly a little surprised about some of the negative experiences (I'm also not super uptight about the wedding stuff either so that might impact my perception). My husband and I really enjoyed meeting with the vendor and the cake turned out exactly how I requested. Instead of a groom's cake we went with an ice cream sundae bar and I was a little concerned the cake would be trumped by the sundae bar but the cake definitely held its own and guests enjoyed it!

The cake tasted very good and looked elegant. It was exacty what I asked for. The owner is very friendly and pleasant. Just a little expensive, but it was worth it.

Our groom's cake was perfect. My cake was NOT what I asked for. It did not look like anything we spoke about and the cake was almost exactly the same as a model cake in the shop. I admit it tasted wonderful, but make sure your vision is clear with these people. They are unorganized and often don't know where your order is or who you are. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service and final product.

We had originally planned on having the bavarian cheesecake that they are famous for but after experiencing this cake at 3 different weddings we found a problem. Because the cake is so delicate, it has to be frozen for transport. Unfortunately, because a wedding cake is layered, the cake never fully thaws. This cake when thawed cannot be beat for taste but when frozen, it is just an icky and sticky mess. We decided to make a change to the dark chocolate cake with a cream cheese and raspberry filling and whipped frosting. Oh my gosh! The cake was fabulous! They willingly worked with our changes and delivered a beautiful cake that tasted awesome! I would suggest that if you want the other kind that perhaps you choose it for the groom's cake since it is generally single layer and thawing would probably not be a problem. Other than that, I would definitely recommend them!

Awesome Cake! We originally wanted to go with the bavarian cheesecake, but having experienced frozen cake at other weddings, we went with dark chocolate cake with cream cheese and raspberry filling and whipped icing. So so good. We would have done the bavarian cheesecake for the groom's cake since it is smaller and wouldn't ahve a problem thawing, but we just decided it was easier to go with one cake. I'm glad we did. We had so much left over, and I ate it for the whole next week! So good!
