David is the Ansel Adams of wedding photography. He doesn't take pictures, he puts the beauty of a Matisse through a lens. He is cool to work with, he is fun, and his work is of the utmost highest quality.

We picked him because his cost is good, he did 2 engagement sessions for us (totally worth it because you feel like your homeboy is taking pictures of you on the wedding day, not some dude you don't know), and have you seen the candids on his website???!!! Anyone can put mom and dad and bride together and snap a nice shot, but he gets mom and dad getting down on the dance floor with the moon shining above them. Seriously, he creates magic with his photos.

If you are shopping around for a photographer, go onto his website. Look at all those great photos. And then realize that he is working with regular grooms who have no idea what they're doing. We're not models. Just regular Joes. But David makes us all look perfect. And, gentlemen, since you know you want to just make Her happy through all this, you will want to book Basia Mille for your photos because she will be stoked with the results.

He included two engagement sessions, which was great for us because we were able to get comfortable having our photo taken. The pictures from those sessions turned out to be awesome, and I'm still trying to figure out how to pick just a few to frame and put up on our wall!

On our wedding day, David was willing to be with us for the whole day! He got pics of the guys playing putt putt golf that morning and a ton of getting ready pics of me and my girls. He even volunteered to take my dress to the venue so he could take pictures of it before we even got there.

Throughout the day, he was there, but not obnoxiously there. He never interfered with the flow of the day. When the time came for formal portraits, he was great at controlling the chaos that comes from two large families trying to get organized, especially with one family that didn't even speak English! I have nothing but good things to say about David and Basie Mille.

I haven't gotten my pictures back, but I fully believe they will be amazing. I can't wait to see them!

Hiring David from Basia Mille Photography was the best decision we made for our wedding! David went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy during the engagement shoot and wedding day. He arrived early on our wedding day and was able to capture so many precious moments with my mom, bridesmaids, and myself. He is so easy to work with and fun to be around! He didn't stop shooting until the wedding was over and we are so thankful for his hard work! If you are looking for a great photographer, I would recommend David...he is top notch!

I am so happy we used David for our wedding!! I met with several photographers, all in different price ranges and skill and honestly I was finding it was either an expensive photographer for good pictures or an inexpensive one for mediocre pictures. It was important for us to hire a photographer that took more than just "portrait" pictures and had a good personality. When I finally met with David I knew I found someone who would be easy to work with but also meant business! He was the perfect mix of talent and results and pricing. He was easy to get a hold of and cared to know how the planning was going! He provided us with awesome pictures. He was there all day for us on our wedding day and I was totally confident he knew what we wanted. He made me and our party feel so special and wasn't just there to snap pictures and move on to another event. There may be some fancy, high end photographers out there but David is a hidden gem. David was truly amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. It was hard to choose a photographer being a destination bride, but David was very personalble and had a great sense of humor from the start. He takes such creative pictures and really captured our wedding day... Not only was he a great photographer.. but always throws in great ideas and was there to help whether it be photography questions or not. He is there all day and as long as you want! Well worth it! David was great from start to finish - very flexible, beautiful photos, and you will NOT find a better price for the value! I spoke to over ten photographers, and he was hands down the best. Also very easy going and comfortable to have around on the wedding day - which is VERY important if you consider that this person will be around you all day on one of the most important days of your life! His personality was a huge factor in hiring him. We would use him again in a heartbeat! Seriously, if he's open for your date - BOOK HIM!

We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. David made the experience fun, exciting and memorable. I believe a key is that he truly wants to get to know you by having several meetings before the wedding where he takes a series of engagement pictures. David was amazing throughout the whole process! From the engagement session to the end of our wedding night (he even sent me an email with the most amazing picture already edited & perfect that I received before the end of my night out). He was extremely attentive & put me at ease on the biggest day of my life. I have recommended him to friends that have gotten engaged & I will continue to do so in the future. I really appreciated the work that he put into my photos even more so when I was at a friends wedding recently who went with a corporate photographer & the photos were evident with not nearly the amount of personal touch, attention to detail, and the keys to giving me the memories that will last our lifetime!!

My pictures are amazing and I have recieved so many compliments! I asked for natural pictures (nothing too posey posey) and lots of fun pictures of the reception. I got exactly what I wanted! We got married on the beach and the pictures are breathtaking. The pictures reflect us as a couple and the happiness of the occasion perfectly. David was very easy to work with and he made me feel very comfortable on the big day. The post ceremony group pictures were well organized and timed perfectly so we were just on time for the reception. I did wait longer than was initially discussed for the pictures but they were well worth the wait. Overall, I could not be happier with the results and highly reccomend Basia Mille Photography to all brides.

PHENOMENAL! David was the best photographer anyone could ever ask for. He was never in the way, never demanding or pushy. He showed up early and stayed all day. He fulfilled everyones photo requests not just mine. Sweet and funny and takes amazing photos. My husband and I keep hoping there is something we can use david again for, even if its just following us around disney taking photos!

David was absolutely fantastic! He went way above and beyond what we even initially requested. He was very helpful, knowing we were coming from out of state to be married in Florida, he even offered to pick up flowers for us.
