When we first booked Emma at Barebonephoto, we were excited by the different style she offered and the excellence of her work. We never thought that she would actually be able to outdo herself in every way! Our experience with Emma was great, she was fun and made us feel comfortable and in good hands, no small feet when dealing with two people that are usually very camera shy. We look forward to having future occasions to work with Emma!

Emma was great. At our wedding, she was in control without being dictatorial, and was able to put everyone at ease and laughing. The pictures were beautiful and we could tell a lot of care and attention went into our photos and the packaging. We are already recommending her to all our engaged friends.

Emma from Barebone photo was absolutely fantastic! my husband and I used her to document our wedding this past August. Truly professional with her work, and an absolute joy to work with.She is amazingly creative! She made the process of picking and using a wedding photographer easy! Neither my husband nor I really love having our photos taken, but she made it so much fun we didn't want to stop. And the results show that! We had a blast, with the outcome being that we can't even pick our favourites, there are far too many!

Deciding to have Barebone Photo document our wedding was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Emma's photography is unlike any other. Candid, emotional, vivid and beautiful. She is a true artist and a true visionary. We not only ended up with gorgeous photos documenting our wedding day, we came away with pieces of personal art for the walls of our home. At the end of the day, the photos are your memories...with Emma's photos, I will always remember how perfect our wedding was.

It was an absolute joy to work with Emma. Our engagement shoot was the most fun we've had in front of a camera, this coming from two very camera shy people! Emma captured the most candid, stunning and artistic moments imaginable during our Casa Loma Wedding on June 13, 2009. As someone who is extremely camera shy, I clearly remember that one of my biggest fears going into the wedding was the photography aspect. From the moment we met Emma (and subsequently worked with her during our engagement shoot), that fear was gone and I realized just how much fun this was going to be!!! Emma's open personality and her contagious sense of humor made all the difference in the world! Barebonephoto was amazing! Emma and her crew were fantastic! They were never intrusive and took beautiful, thoughtful pictures that reflect both the personalities of myself and my husband but also of our family members. The pictures that Barebonephoto took are truly a treasure.

I have found barebonephoto online when I was randomly looking for a photographer to capture myself, boyfriend (at the time) and our two little Yorkies. The pictures were beyond amazing and we knew Emma would be our wedding photographer when the time came. Shortly after we got engaged and Emma was booked as soon as we reserved the venue. All pictures look beautiful, candid and natural. I had a huge dilemma deciding which ones to display in our new home! We can't wait for barebonephoto to capture us once the family grows further.

Emma was absolutely amazing. I wanted the wedding photos to read like a story from the beginning of the day to the end and that is exactly what we got. We were looking for something different and unique not the typical posed wedding picutres. We are thrilled with our pictures and love them all, it is so hard to pick the ones we want to print. Emma made everyone feel so comfortable, we had a blast getting the pictures taken. Emma also did our save the date magnets as well as our thank-you notes as a postcard. She also posts the pictures on an online gallery that is very user friendly and allows you to decide everything you want from your photo: size, colour and cropping. This was the best money we spent on the wedding by far.

Working with Emma was great. Our photos truly capture great momments of our wedding. Everyone that sees of pics marvels at the colour. I highly reccomend barebonephoto.

Choosing Barebonephoto was one of the best wedding decisions! Emma was so easy going and we really just trusted her to do her thing - and we were not disappointed! The photos are gorgeous and everyone I know is oowing and awing over them! We will have those gorgeous photos to last us forever - they and she was worth every penny!

Emma did a great job and the photos were fantastic. She does a photo journalistic / candid style (i.e. photographs you without you really being aware of it rather than having all posed photos). This worked perfectly for us as neither of us like posing or can produce natural smiles on demand! Also Emma is a lovely lady who is a lot of fun.

Only very minor issue was that it took a little longer to get our photos than initially discussed but well worth the wait.

I'd definitely recommend Emma / Barebone
