The dress was gorgeous. The associate that I worked with was the most silliest adult that I've met. She forgot to order items(an extra strap for a one strapped dress), ordered one of my bridesmaids the wrong dress style, and really did not explain everything as clearly as she should have. The bridal gown was gorgeous after 358 dollars of alterations and all of my bridesmaid dresses did turn out really nice by Belsoie.

I ordered and had my dress altered through Ballew. Despite my objections, my Sales Associate insisted that I order the dress 3x my size (no exaggeration). I went through 3 alterations and well over $300 in alterations before the dress finally fit me properly.
When I arrived at the store for my finally fitting, the staff didn't offer me any assistance...which finalized my decision for any further business with them. Such a discouraging situation considering they could be receiving business from us in the future.

They were so great and easy to work with. I ended up finding my dress somewhere else that was cheaper and Ballew came back and said they'd match the price - and they did! The alterations were amazing and it was worth every penny. Ask for Misty - she's an amazing sales associate and was so helpful. The dresses are unique and specialized for you - this is NOT David's (Nasty) Bridal.

I only bought my wedding dress here, but I loved it. I don't live in Memphis, but I wanted to buy my dress there so I wouldn't have to take it on a plane. Less than a month before my wedding I had my first fitting. They assured me my dress could be altered in that amount of time. I didn't get the chance to go back to Memphis until a week before the wedding. In the three weeks in between I lost about 10-15 lbs due to stress. Mrs. Ballew, the owner, made my dress a priority and had it re altered in two days.

Ballew had exactly the dress I wanted. They were very professional and did not pressure me to purchase my bridesmaid's dresses there. They are a little on the pricier side, but this is a big occasion, so do it up big!
