Working with Margaret and Adam from Avenue Photo as my wedding photographers, was single-handedly the best decision I made when planning this important day. Both Adam and Margaret were patient, easy going and utterly professional leading up to, during and after our big day. We could not have asked for a better experience, and feel truly lucky because we know it's too easy to get a bad photographer. My advice: listen to their suggestions because they know exactly what they are doing, and how to make you and your partner look great naturally. The photos I received were better than the photos I wanted, and only through Margaret and Adam's careful guidance could we have achieved such gorgeous engagement and wedding photos. We were lucky enough to have Adam (associate photographer) photograph our wedding and we couldn't have made a better choice. He listened to our visions and gave us exactly what we were looking for with both our wedding photos and our engagement session. Each couple has different elements that rank higher than others. We were very adamant that pictures will last well beyond our years and as we weren't going to have a videographer we wanted a photographer that could capture the story of our day. However, we also needed someone who we'd be comfortable with.

After meeting with Avenue Photo we didn't need to look any further. In our consultation we barely even discussed business, we got along so well and conversation flowed so easily we knew Margaret would be able to handle our rowdy group. The cost of the service was reasonable (we still had a budget to stick to), and we LOVED our photos. Plus, almost all of our guests mentioned that they didn't even notice our photographers.

Margaret and Robyn photographed our wedding this summer and did an amazing job! From the beginning Margaret took care of everything, making sure that I understood exactly what I would receive and what my options were; I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. I can't say enough about how much I loved my photographer, Margaret from Avenue Photo. She is professional, creative, experienced and very talented. But most importantly she is very down to earth, comfortable to be around and fun! Once the wedding is done Margaret provides you with all your images to do what you like with, unlike many others who I have heard will try to gouge customers of their money by forcing people to buy prints from them directly. Margaret was a delight and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

Margaret and Adam from Avenue Photo were the photographers for our wedding this past June. When we were engaged, we found Avenue photo online and immediately fell for Margaret's photojournalistic style. We had an engagement session with her in the spring and had a such a great experience and beautiful photos, that we couldn't wait for our wedding. During the wedding, our experience with both of them was wonderful. Both photographers were down to earth, fun and kept us laughing all day. They were at the venue before we arrived, set up and ready to go. They did not interfere at all with the day, in fact, most of the time I forgot they were even in the room, which ended up making for some amazing candid shots. Our photos were up on her blog just after we got home from our honeymoon and we had the proofs and all of our photos in a matter of weeks. I would definitely recommend this company!

After seeing Margaret's work at our close friend's wedding there was no question that we wanted her to capture our special day. Our photographer Adam was absolutely fabulous from start to finish! He was able to navigate and direct my very anxious mother and a full household including 3 large dogs, extended family, and my 100 year old grandmother with confidence and humour. The photos he took are precious to my husband and I as he caught the hearts and souls of our much loved friends and family (particularly my father who is a difficult man to capture). He was able to accommodate additional requests the day off and even stayed an extra hour at the end of the night because our speeches ran way over time. We receive endless compliments of his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for any future events.

Margaret was absolutely amazing to work with from the very moment we met her! Margaret made our wedding day so amazing; she arrived at my (the bride) location and was instantly involved! She even helped us pour the champagne!!!! She got to know who we were and what was important to us and that showed in the pictures she took. There is not a single picture out of the thousands she took that we do not love (and there was no person or situation missed). She was punctual, involved and loving!
