Karen of Avayah Photography was an absolutely terrific fit for us, as I imagine she would be for anyone. The photographs speak for themselves (so if you haven't seen her website: www.avayahphotography.com, you are in for a real treat!). But not only did she go above and beyond our photographic expectations (I'm i'm not the easiest to please!), her attention to detail in every conversation, email, follow-up, and on the day of the wedding was perfection. She was not aggressive with us (as I found others to be), listened to our ideas, brought in her own artistic talents, and overall was a pleasure to worth with. Moreover, the value for what we paid for her services was outstanding. I truly felt that if she would have charged us double, I would still be delighted with the outcome. I whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a talented, creative, personable, and outgoing photographer. Additionally, our guests loved her (she was so good at blending in but getting the perfect shot people thought she was a guest!), and we cannot say enough about how much we love our photographs! Karen and Stacie did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day. We were looking forward to seeing their work after getting back our incredible engagement photos--Karen has such a great eye for photographs. Our wedding photos are perfect--they capture all of the excitement and joy we felt that day. We have SOOO many perfect photos it's insane. Every moment of the day has a bunch of fantastic photos for us to choose from.

We loved having Karen as our photographer! She was so much fun to work with and captured all the moments of the day that we never want to forget. I flew Avayah Photography/ Karen out to Maui for my wedding. She did a WONDERFUL job! She arrived early to capture the moments of me and my girls still in PJ's getting our makeup ready, capturing intimate moments with my mom and my girls. To being there when my husband saw me in my dress for the first time. To a full day of pictures capturing my husband and my's excitment, love and joy for eachother. To then capturing our promises and celebration at the wedding that evening. She was there 100%. She did a wonderful job of capturing different angles and details of the wedding that I wasn't even able to see that day due to being so busy and so many people, she allowed me to see my wedding in the pictures. She's full of ideas to make your wedding pics unlike anyone else's. I've gotten sooooo many people who say they, for the first time in a picture, had truly seen the love my husband and I have for eachother, through a picture! That is hard to do, but she did it. We felt comfortable being myself with her. We had a blast and she helped make my day one I will NEVER forget. I look back at the pics very often and they bring all those feeling and emotions of that day back to me. The photographer is VITAL to your wedding day and Avayah Photography did a wonderful job. Karen was absolutely the perfect photographer for our daughter's wedding. She was very professional ~ who made every effort to make everyone involved with the wedding feel comfortable and positive. The quality of her photos ~ and creativeness sets her apart from the rest... The artistry and presentation of her work is amazing... however it's the personal touch and care she takes that really gives her photo's warmth and depth and life... She is very good at capturing the emotion and essence of the moments.
