A couple of guests ran into a few hiccups with the servers but overall pretty good.

Very displeased with this company. The food was great, yes but not worth how much money it costs AT ALL. Our wedding guest complained that the staff was not friendly and felt rushed to leave. Our wedding cake was the ugliest thing i'd ever seen. Publix has better cakes than I had. I was told it would be full of beautiful fall leaves all over the cake and it would fit perfectly with our fall theme...well it was a 3 tiered white cake with about 10 little leaves spread throughout the whole thing!!!! It was awful...all I could see was white. No one liked the cake on looks but the flavor was ok. Oh and I would have liked to have the top of my cake to be put in our freezer for us to eat a peice on our anniversary next year but thanks to avante that didn't happen either. We got the top of our cake given to us thrown in a box with our left over cake and ALL the fondant was shaved completely off the cake and just thrown in there on it's side. Also, they completely left out the grooms cake!! There are better caterers out there that don't charge a life's fortune for food and bad service and actually care about how things go after the fact.

Avante was wonderful to work with for our wedding. Genell was so helpful throughout the planning process and was so responsive with emails. For our wedding we chose hand passed appetizers, sit down dinner with pre-seated salads, and cake. The food was delicious and the cake was incredible. I had many guests complimenting our choice of caterer, the food was great! I would highly recommend Avante!

Our food was delicious! Everyone complimented the meal! Genell is FANTASTIC and is very responsive. The wedding wouldn't have been such a success w/out her. She helped ensure that the room flip from ceremony to reception was seamless. Very highly recommended!

From the first time I talked to Genell she was friendly and helpful. Avante was the only catering company (out of the many that I contacted) that respected my budget and found a way to give me I wanted. The food at the tasting was awesome - we cleaned our plates!

We got married in the Greystone at Piedmont Park. Avante's servers were great. They did a good job getting the venue set up in a timely manner, were well dressed and courteous. Our guests loved the food provided during the cocktail hour, and the chicken/scallop options provided to them for our seated-served dinner. Dinner was also served in a timely manner. Our cake was done by a family friend, but I hear they make awesome cakes too.

I would use Avante's services again without a doubt--I honestly have no complaints. They can cater to any palate and their no-frills approach is a relief when planning a wedding. Plus they can take care of extras like linens & tables, serving alcohol, and the wedding cake.

Avante Catering was wonderful to work with. Genell specifically is extremely professional and extremely prompt with email responses, which I appreciated. She was also very helpful in customizing our menu to our budget without compromising the overall quality of the food.

The food itself was delicious, and my husband and I actually got to enjoy it thanks to Genell personally bringing us a plate ensuring we could eat during the hectic reception.

Avante also provided our cake. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted, and the baker, Christina, was very accommodating and made my vision a reality. The cake was delicious!

I would highly recommend Avante Catering! Genell was an absolute pleasure to work with! Avante was by far the most responsive caterer I dealt with. They are very flexible in regards to menu and budget, and very accommodating to any and all requests! The food was great. The cake was great. The bar service was great. Everything went without a hitch on my wedding day, and I have Avante to thank for that!

My parents, husband, and I attended one of their (free!) tastings and were impressed by their experience, professionalism, and quality of food. Celebrations was incredibly easy to work with and helped guide my parents and I in making decisions to meet our needs and budget for the reception.They are so great to work with and extremely organized and detailed and thorough.I had attempted to work with other caterers initally and did not find any of them very responsive. I felt that I had to work so hard and guide them through the process and initiate all of the communications. I am so glad that I switched to Celebrations! They made the whole planning process so easy!

I cannot say enough about Avante catering. Using the approved vendor list from our venue (the Old Courthouse on the Square), I contacted a handful of caterers. Genell (main contact) and her team were the most responsive out of all of the caterers. For some, I did not hear back for like a week (which, as a bride who wanted to get things done asap, this was not good for me). With Avante, we heard back within a day. Also, all of the other caterers asked that you pay for the tasting. Avante did not charge for tasting. (To me, this showed their confidence in their food... Which was DELICIOUS!!) Being from the North, my fiance and I had to have seated dinner as opposed to buffet and Genell was so helpful and accommodating. She really helped guide me into making the wedding just perfect. Meeting with her to do the walk-through was the point where I finally felt a sigh of relief! She had it under control. (Which is something she stressed the days before and the day of the wedding.) We had passed hors d', options for our guests of filet, scallops, or eggplant, a cake and groomscake, 2 bartenders, and 10 wait staff. We had the ceremony in the ballroom, then had the guests shuffle downstairs for cocktail hour and passed hors d' (while we did pictures and Avante setup for the reception). Genell's team set-up for the ceremony (the things we didn't do during rehearsal), flipped the room while guests were at the cocktail hour and setup for the seated dinner, had one of her staff hang coats, and clean up, including packing up the leftover alcohol and food and decorations (and other things here and there). I whole-heartedly recommend Avante catering. They were so nice, helpful, accommodating, and the food was great! Everyone said how delicious the meal and cakes were!

Genell was very pleasant to work with and we appreciated their team's flexibility in revising the menu to match our budget needs. The tasting at their facility went off without a hitch but on the day of our wedding, they arrived late for set-up, inconveniencing some of our other vendors, and the food quality wasn't quite what we experienced before. But overall, this is a good option for couples on a budget.

People that attended our wedding are still raving about how great the food was. We went in for a tasting a year prior to the wedding and we were brought a fantastic selection of their favorites. We went with the "Ultimate Feast" which included passed appetizers, two identical buffets, a carving station, and "do it yourself" shrimp and grits bar. We went with fried green tomatoes, chicken crisps, and caprese salad skewers for appetizers. We had London broil, Sweet potatoes, green beans, stuffed mushrooms, pasta salad, and shrimp & Grits. We definitely got what we paid for! Genelle went above and beyond by providing all the buffet decor and the decor for the cake tables. We also had Avante do the Wedding cake and grooms cake. The wedding cake was EXACTLY what I asked for... I still can not believe how perfect it was. The groom's cake was larger than what I had imagined, but gave our guests many choices to choose from. Not only did Avante handle all of this, they also provided the chairs for our ceremony, Linens, plates, silverware, and glassware. Avante provided the service which was also fantastic. I have and will refer them to any bride and groom :)

Avante really went above and beyond to make our day special. Bailey, our special event coordinator, was so easy to work with and very helpful. The food was amazing and our cakes were absolutely beautiful. They set up everything and also set up our candy buffet that we were using as our favor for our guests. It was a great value for everything that we got, and we could not have found a baker who would have given us a better deal for the cakes. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They definitely took the stress out of planning a wedding!

This was a pretty great service, some hiccups during planning, but other than that it was great, they came wedding day, setup, served the food, with no accidents, and all was well.

The catering and food was excellent.

The food was pretty good all my guest loved it and so did my husband who is a very picky eater..As for me I just think some things could of been seasoned more..
