Carla did the hair and makeup for my bridal party and my mother for my wedding on 10/15/11. She did a fantastic job! She came to my apartment for the trial and made me feel very comfortable. After the trial I decided to change my hair style and with just a few pictures that I sent to her she gave me the perfect hair style for my wedding. All the girls that had their hair and makeup done came up and told me how much they loved their styles and had nothing but glowing compliments for Carla. I would absolutely recommend this company to any bride. They were talented and professional and they also fit perfectly into my budget.

These ladies were great! My trial hair and makeup was in my own home, which is very convenient. Then, on my big day, I changed my hair and makeup plan a bit from our trial run (a girl's got a right to change her mind, right?) and the ladies were flexible and more than willing to adapt. My hair and makeup were perfect AND they stayed that way well into the night. After hours of pictures and then dancing my tush off, I still looked polished and pretty. Thank you!

Appease Inc. great to work with for my wedding in September 2011 at the Westin in Lombard. I was recommended to Appease by a friend at work whose sister recently used them for her wedding and had a great experience with them. My main point of contact was Carla, and she always responded to my emails and addressed my questions and concerns right away, which was great because I definitely had a lot! I chose Appease because of their reasonable prices, especially with the discount for my Friday wedding, and the fact that they come to you on the day of your wedding and for any trials beforehand. At my original trial, the makeup artist and I got along fine but couldn’t quite get on the same page about what I was looking for, so I let Carla know, and she was very happy to send a different makeup artist to me for another trial at no extra charge (who happened to be Laura, my hair stylist). The 2nd trial was much better, and I am so glad that Carla was understanding and wanted to make sure that I was happy with my look so there would be no surprises on the day of my wedding. My mom, 3 of my bridesmaids, and I all had our hair and makeup done at the hotel where the ceremony and reception were being held. It was so nice to have everyone in one place getting ready so I didn’t have to worry about where everyone was and when they would be arriving at the hotel. Carla and Laura arrived right on time the morning of the wedding, and they did such a wonderful job on all of us! They listened to what we wanted and were happy to make changes to our hair and makeup if there was something we didn’t like the first time around. My mom and bridesmaids were extremely happy with their hair and makeup, and I absolutely loved mine – it looked even than I could have ever imagined and went perfectly with my wedding gown. We all looked and felt beautiful, and the airbrush makeup looked natural and felt like we weren’t wearing any makeup, which we loved. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup all night, and some people that couldn’t make it to the wedding but saw the wedding pictures even made comments about how good all of our hair and makeup looked. I would absolutely recommend Appease Inc. to anyone needing their hair and makeup done for an event, and I would definitely use them again in the future!

I had Laura and an assistant come do my hair for my wedding, along with 6 bridemaids and one flower girl and my mother. She came first to my house and did my trial and i loved it, a few days after my trial i decided i really wanted my hair all the way up and she had no problem with coming out for a second trial so we could get it just right. The day if the wedding they showed up right on time and got straight to work. I loved the airbrush make up and it stayed on all night! Even more impressive was how well all of our updo's lasted the whole night, for a good 12 hours! I never had one touch up to do and my hair looked absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone for their wedding day or any other event, she did a fabulous job and we couldn't have been more pleased.

Peggy was great. She made me look fantastic, and it was fun to chat with her during the trial and wedding day prep. Great price to have someone come to you.

I absolutely love this place. So easy and conveinient. Very responsive and flexible. Were willing to help me with any and all of my questions and any dilemmas that came up. Laura was awesome and rocked my hair and the hair of all the ladies in my wedding. Everyone felt and looked absoltuely STUNNING!!!! Thanks Laura and all the wonderful people at Appease!!!!!!

Omg!!! Carla is Amazing! She did a wonderful job! She did my make up for my bridal shower and my wedding. Everybody loved it. Most important I loved and so did my husband. She did my make up at 9am and it lasted to 2am! Polish/American weddings are long...but fun! I cant wait for another excuse to call her to do my make up for a special event.

I was really happy with my hair and makeup for my big day. Laura did an amazing job! Usually, pictures I see for make up for Indian brides is over the top and not flattering. Laura did a great job of bringing out that natural look that also photographed perfectly. I had 2 looks for my big day, one for the wedding and another for the reception. Laura put together 2 completely different looks for me and I could not be happier. I was also really happy with my mom and sister's make up. Overall, Laura did an amazing job and I would recommend her to all my friends. Also, Appease does a great job of being responsive to emails and calls. I never had to wait more than 1-2 days to receive a response in regards to questions, etc. I am so glad I chose Appease for my big day.

Carrie was so amazing to work with. I am an out of town bride and she was really flexible at squeezing in a hair trial at 8 am on a Sunday! She did amazing work and was really affordable. She has a very sweet and fun personality too so you feel completely at ease with her. My sister has booked her for her wedding next year also! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful - she has my full recommendation!

I used Appease for my hair/make up, as well as two bridesmaids and two moms. I booked my group through email and spoke with Carla. She was very accommodating, as I kept changing how many people were getting which services. I had my trial about a month before, and although the stylists did a good job, I changed my mind for the day of the wedding and they had no problem changing what they did. My stylists were Samantha for hair and Jennifer for airbrush make up. They were amazing. My hair stayed the whole night, and my make up was hard to take off even the next day. Jennifer gave me lipstick touch ups for later in the night, but I only had to use it one time all the way at the end of the night. It stayed on so well. I was very happy with Appease and would recommend them. Their prices are reasonable too, but be aware, you have to pay the full price for everyone + 20% tip two weeks before your big day. However, this was spelled out to me ahead of time. Overall, I had a great experience and felt gorgeous on my big day!

Carla and her team was wonderful in realizing the ideas we had in our minds about what my bridesmaids and I wanted. We couldn't show her what we really wanted, but through our suggestions and ideas Carla set forth our vision. Our hair and make-up turned out beautifully, and there were many compliments all around. Throughout all our indecisions, she was flexible and managed to still complete our look. Thank you for making us the beautiful visions we always wanted to be!

Carla did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup for my June wedding. My biggest concern was that I did not want to look too made up even though I knew I would have to go heavier on the makeup than I normally do because of the pictures. Carla took note of all of my concerns and did a beautiful job of making me feel comfortable with the makeup up and also letting my features pop in pictures. My hair stayed all day (even after taking pictures at the beach and throughout the city of Chicago) and everyone told me I looked beautiful...and I believed them :)

I had Laura do my hair and makeup at the platinum level, which included airbrush makeup. She did a great job- I was really impressed especially with how well the makeup stayed up, even with high humidity. I loved what she did with my hair- no one else has been able to get it to hold a curl. She also did all four of my bridesmaids (with an assistant) and they all looked beautiful. All in all, Appease was great to deal with, and Laura especially is a gem!

I am so happy I picked appease for my hair and makeup for my wedding! It was one of the vendors I did not have to stress about!
They answered my emails so quickly, my trial went really well and everything on the wedding day was great. Samantha was so nice, patient and did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. I was never called "stunning" before that day! I felt so beautiful I knew all the photos would come out great.

My hair stylist for the wedding was Laura. Laura is not only amazing at hair and make up but she is such a great person! She was so understanding with my entire family and what we wanted for out wedding. Appease is a great company, great value and they come to you. I would definitely recommend Laura, she is one a million. I look like a princess for my wedding She did 3 different looks in two days and they were all very unique to go with all of my Indian outfits. I looked modern and elegent, thanks to her! I love her. I wish I could take her with me everywhere!

The only downfall is that you have to pay your final sum two weeks prior to the event. I did not read the fine print and was not happy about that.

Carla was great! She was very helpful with picking out colors, and took her time to see if we wanted to make any changes to hair or makeup. Would highly recommend. Thank you for all your help- I loved my hair and makeup!! =)
