  Above and beyond

  5 starts isn’t enough! Ann was amazing to work with. She was always so professional, responsive, organized, and willing to share her perspective on ideas to make our wedding day a dream. I’m a Projector Manager so I had high expectations of a coordinator’s ability to plan and execute. Ann exceeded all expectations and went above and beyond! 10 out of 10 stars. ⭐️ Do not hesitate to book Ann as your planner or coordinator.

  The absolute best!

  Ann is literally the best, period. We booked her as our day of coordinator and she went so far above and beyond what we were expecting. She handled every request with consummate professionalism, communicated with the venue and our other vendors, and was a warm and reassuring presence throughout! If you're considering hiring her, DO IT.

  Couldn't have done it without her

  Ann was an absolute dream of a coordinator! She came highly recommended from our DJ and our wedding venue coordinator. Even though we hired her for only month-of planning, our first meeting was 7 months before our wedding. From there, she was involved whenever we needed help (preparing for other vendor meetings, preparing for venue details meetings) all before the actual month-of our wedding. As we got closer, she helped us track vendor payments, venue layout/seating chart, list of items we're bringing, what she could bring for us, and more. She was in communication with our venue coordinator on our behalf which made things so much easier for us.
  
  On the actual day of, she instilled such a sense of calm in both me and my husband knowing she was running things behind the scenes. If we needed something she'd get it for us, if a vendor missed something she would work to rectify it. She also packed up all of our stuff so nicely at the end of the night and made sure we got it all into our car. She really helped us make our vision come to life and helped us enjoy our wedding to the fullest extent. I can't recommend her enough!

  Best Wedding Planner

  I don’t even know where to begin to share how amazing and talented Ann Strobel is. Hard-working, detail-oriented, and genuine are just a few of the many many compliments we could share about Ann.
  
  My fiancé and I got engaged in April 2020 (a month into the pandemic!) and Ann was truly a blessing as she helped us navigate the challenges of planning a wedding during a pandemic. Her wedding experience is unmatched and she provided us with invaluable recommendations for planning a wedding with the many uncertainties of COVID-19. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into with wedding planning, but Ann always found a solution to any issue or question that arose during our planning process.
  
  On top of all this, she provided excellent vendor recommendations. In fact, a majority of our wedding vendors were from her suggested vendor list. This immensely simplified the process of selecting wedding vendors, especially since I’m not from San Diego.
  
  Working with Ann feels like working with a friend you’ve known for years — she is honest, a great listener, and shares invaluable input. Our wedding was finally able to take place on August 14, 2021 after having to postpone and it was well worth the wait!
  
  Ann, thank you for being such a crucial part of our wedding experience.   The best!

  Ann is a must!!!!! I highly highly recommend Ann for your wedding. She is professional, extremely responsive and fun to work with. She thinks of all the smalls details that you would never think of and truly makes you stress free the entire week of! She goes that extra mile and checked in with me frequently to make sure I was feeling good and to see if I needed anything. Taking those extra steps to make me feel special meant the world to me!! She was so organized the week/day of and made our vision a reality. I can't thank you enough for everything you have done! THANK YOU!!!!

  Hire Ann!!

  We don't even know how to start to express just how helpful Ann was in making our wedding happen. The experience, professionalism, and calm that she maintained throughout the month- and day-of cannot be overstated. She was quick to answer any questions we had with exactly the information that we needed. She worked seamlessly with our other vendors and even managed to soothe the nerves of our anxious parents.

  Fun & Professional!

  Ann was very diligent and organized with her work. She was also very professional and fun to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. Lastly, she was crafty and creative which really allowed us to have a very unique wedding. Highly recommend Ann for your wedding planning!

  Stress Free Wedding Planning

  My wedding was perfect, and I owe that to mostly to Ann Strobel!
  Ann was my coordinator for the month of - I initially sought her services as a “day of” coordinator, but once I met her and saw how much she could help, I booked her for the month. Worth. Every. Penny.
  Since my mom lives out of state, Ann was there to come to tastings and dress fittings with me, floral appointments, and she was there to answer every little nervous question I had. She knows all the vendors and helped me find the ones who would fit my taste and my budget.
  
  Ann thought of all the tiny details that I would have had no clue about - and she already has a ton of “props” (easels, place card display, ring bearer box, table numbers, etc.!) which saved us money and also a lot of extra hassle.
  The day of the wedding, Ann was more prepared than Mary Poppins herself. When my eyelashes started to come loose, she was ready to go with her eyelash glue and toothpicks!
  If you are nervous about planning a wedding and pulling it off, I highly recommend Ann to make your wedding experience as stress free (and fun!) as possible!

  If I could give Ann more than 5 stars on everything, I would. I initially hired her as a 'month of' coordinator, but quickly realized that I wanted her for the 'full service' option. Ann is absolutely wonderful - on top of things, super organized, knows every vendor worth considering, and saves you so much time, effort, and money when it comes to researching, hiring, and coordinating other vendors. As an example, I was based full-time on the east coast while planning my San Diego wedding; as a result, it was overwhelming for me to research vendors since there were so many options. She narrowed down each list for me, within my budget, quickly understood what vibe I was going for, and helped me negotiate all of the contracts. In the end, she more than paid for herself with all of the savings that I had everywhere else. She also goes above and beyond to help personalize your special day - she made my seating place-cards (for which I received many compliments on), lent me a cake stand & serving utensils so that I wouldn't need to purchase new ones while in San Diego, and also has an array of items that brides can use for guestbook holders, vases, you name it! On top of that, she is easy going, flexible, has an amazing personality, and is generally a great person to work with. Leading up to it and on my wedding day, she took care of absolutely everything - I was never worried about my timeline; I was able to eat at both my cocktail hour and reception; everything was set up the way it was supposed to be; and at the very end, I received so many compliments about her professionalism, helpfulness, and positive energy. I would recommend her wholeheartedly.

  You could not make a better choice in your wedding planning process than to choose Ann as your coordinator. She is amazing, creative, detailed and on top of everything for your big day so you don't have to be. Ann was there to make suggestions, talk me off a ledge if needed and coordinate with the wedding vendors to ensure everything would be running smoothly for us.   Ann Strobel was wonderful in coordinating my daughter's wedding in September of 2106! She went above and beyond to make sure it was a magical day for the bride and groom. Ann was both reassuring and energetic, and her eye for design made the venue (the La Jolla Woman's Club) even more lovely.
  
  During the day of the event, Ann made sure that the vendors were informed and that everything flowed smoothly - all I had to do was finally relax and let the day unfold.

  I was 100% stress free on my wedding day. Ann made sure we had everything taken care off in advance and kept us on track leading up to the wedding. There were no surprises. She's very responsive and even jumped in to make a cake topper for us when ours got thrown away accidentally the night before our wedding. She put up with us being a little behind on some of our diy projects and set everything up at the venue. She worked with all of our vendors and made sure they knew where to be the day of. I could not have asked for a better coordinator.

She is down to earth, friendly, and tremendously talented. We hired Ann for full service wedding planning and she helped us with every single step in the process, making sure that we were never stressed out. She even took her own time and creative talent to add special personal touches. We received many discounts from our vendors for using such a talented wedding planner. Ann became more like family along the way, and we consider her to be a dear friend. The day of our wedding she was there any time we needed her, and made sure the day was flawless. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any event you may need assistance with. She is THE BEST.

  Ann truly was an integral part of our entire wedding experience- not just the day of but the months/weeks leading up to the main event. I don't think the day could have gone as planned without her in the picture. We had a 200 person Indian wedding and Ann powered through and kept tabs on every little detail required in the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She was key in orchestrating our 8 different vendors and led every activity with poise, professionalism and a smile.
  
  Ann is extremely responsive and attentive to wedding related requests. She responds via text, phone or email within 6 hours of you reaching out. I appreciated Ann's tenacity to go above and beyond, like arranging flowers for the cocktail hour decor, mounting our guest book beforehand and arranging it nicely near the cocktail area, receiving packages for the wedding (we planned remotely) and bringing them to the ceremony area, shuffling last minute ceremony-related items the day of, and helping with the seating arrangement.
  
  Ann is friendly, warm, energetic and helps you think out of the box when you run into creative roadblocks. My husband, family and I think Ann is a rockstar- I would highly recommend Ann to anyone getting married in the greater San Diego area.

  I had the pleasure of working with Ann for 9 months, and she was such a big help from initial planning and vendor coordination, right through to our ceremony rehearsal and reception. Super organized and very creative, Ann provided lots of good guidance along the way and kept me on track with the To Do List as the wedding approached. On wedding day she came to see me during hair/makeup to see how I was doing and touch base about last minute details. At the event she was a huge asset - not one issue was brought to my attention so I was able to truly enjoy the reception while Ann took care of things in the background, like getting the marriage license signed and keeping us on the timeline. We even had some people show up with guests they hadn't previously mentioned (ahem!) and she effortlessly found places for them to sit. At the end of the night when I got to our hotel room she had neatly arranged all the gifts, props, and such in one corner. That was so nice, because I didn't have to wonder about where things were or if anything had been left in the reception area. I couldn't be happier with the great level of service that Ann provided!

We even had some people show up with guests they hadn't previously mentioned (ahem!) and she effortlessly found places for them to sit. At the end of the night when I got to our hotel room she had neatly arranged all the gifts, props, and such in one corner. That was so nice, because I didn't have to wonder about where things were or if anything had been left in the reception area. I couldn't be happier with the great level of service that Ann provided!

  Ann was a pleasure to work with. She is highly organized and detail oriented. She helped provide me with the wedding of my dreams. I enjoyed having someone to talk to and share ideas with throughout my planning process. She seemed to genuinely care about my wedding. Her fees are very reasonable and well worth the peace of mind. She is well-known in the wedding business and it was nice that she had worked with many of my other vendors. I highly recommend Ann!

She helped us plan our dream wedding from the big picture all the way down to the fun little details. When we first met Ann and told her some of our ideas, she was so helpful and really wanted to make sure our special day was within our budget and unforgettable. Her years of experience really showed and she also had excellent recommendations for vendors. Ann is so friendly, professional, and organized. After our big day, many of our guests all told us it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to and they said, "It was very you." I think Ann got to know my husband and I really well and transformed our ideas and personalities into a great party. The best wedding planner ever! Highly recommended :)
