Anne is awesome!! You can't go wrong choosing her for your wedding photography. She took beautiful photos for our engagement session, and there are so many amazing pictures from our wedding day that it has been really hard to choose the ones we want in our album. Anne is really professional and responsive, and i was very impressed that she was able to capture some beautiful moments of the ceremony without being invasive. She knew how to get the shots she wanted quickly which was great. Pick Anne! you will not regret it!

Anne did a wonderful job with our wedding photography. We were pleased with every photo that was taken and are having trouble picking from so many good ones for our album. She knows exactly how to get the best shots for both candid and formal pictures and all the details as well. Anne Lord is wonderful. The photos from the wedding look amazing and I couldn't be happier. She is so professional and so nice. I didn't want a full engagement session, so we opted for an engagement portrait and she added an extra hour to our time. She's very flexible and will create a package that meets your needs. I got copies of all the photos after the wedding so i can reprint and make my own album. They are spectacular.

After our first meeting with Anne, we knew she would be the perfect photographer for our daughter's wedding. Anne was amazing to work with. I met Anne at a bridal expo over 2 years ago and knew she was the photographer for us. Her prices are compoarable but she is worth it. She includes an engagement shoot in her package and give wallets out from the engagement shoot at the wedding. The engagement shoot was a lot of fun and a great way to get used to having formal pictures done if you are like me and haven't experience something like that since high school photos. She is very professional and friendly. She lets you have suggestions and is amazingly fast when it comes to posting pictures online. Our engagement shoot photos were posted within 12 hours! and our wedding pictures were up in 3 days!! If you order your album when you sign the contract you get some great discounts and the albums are beautiful. We are currently picking the pictures we would like to include in our album and we cant wait to have an ablum with Anne's beautiful photos. Also, if you order an album you get the digital right to your photos after you get the album which was important to us. One word of advice: Anne gives you a sheet to fill out all of the pictures you want during the reception (ex: a picture with you and your uncle)... take this seriously and include every picture you want because you will be overwhelmed and enjoying your reception and may forget some of the pictures you want. I have a couple friends I didn't get pictures with that I really wish I had writen down. Thank you Anne for your capturing our wedding with your amazing pictures.

I had the photos back one week later just as I returned from my honeymoon and everyone is FLOORED by how gorgeous they are. I highly recommend Anne for any event where photography is necessary!

Having viewed a number of photographer's websites I was particularly pleased to come across the work of Anne Lord. A quality of understated elegance and intimacy pervades her images and reflected the style I hoped would be seen in my photos as well. Meeting Anne prior to my wedding, gave me the confidence that not only professionally, but personally she would enhance our wedding day with her talent and personality, which she did. Anne is a lovely person who put both my husband and me at ease, as she produced a wonderful documentation of our wedding day to be treasured the rest of our lives.

My husband and I met with Anne and immediately felt comfortable with her. She was the first photographer we met with... and the last. After our initial meeting was over, we went home and discussed how much we liked her and thought she would capture our day beautifully.

We were right. She got to know us, and we got to know her, through our engagement session. She was professional and courteous. We could not have asked for a more wonderful photographer. You felt like a family member was taking your pictures... and she was absolutely direct when needed... something our families definitely needed from time to time!

We would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Anne was great to work with. I met her at a bridal show and as soon as I met her and saw some of her portfolio I knew she was the one. She was quick to respond. My wedding was less than a month ago and already my pics are on her website. She also gives wallet sized pics from your engagement shoot to the guests with info of when they will be online and the password. The guests thought they were great.

Anne was great! She is really efficient and knows how to get things done. I had some goofy requests and she happily honored them. I can't wait to get my photos back to see her amazing work! (After my engagement shoot and boudoir session with Anne, I know that her work is amazing and my wedding photos will be even better!)

We ended up scheduling our wedding somewhat last minute and Anne was able to fit us in and work with our timeframes and budget. We had her and her assistant Jeremy taking pictures for most of the afternoon and evening, and in both cases the photos came out fantastically. Anne was also very easy to work with and was able to organize all the necessary photos despite the best efforts of our meandering families. We would highly recommend Anne and Jeremy to anyone in the DC metro area.
