I took my sister there to get her bridesmaid's dress and while there found the dress that I wanted! However, when it came time for the measurements of my sister, who is plus sized and has Down's Syndrome, the two girls fought over who was going to do it. They weren't loud and didn't think I saw, but I did and was very offended! If my sister didn't love her dress, I would have gone somewhere else. Needless, to say I didn't get my dress there and I will never buy anything from them again!

I had looked in what felt like HUNDEREDS of shops for my dress. My first dress I tried on at Ann Matthews was THE ONE. The consultant I worked with was great- she knew better than I did what I would love. I had a great experience and my dress was the talk of my wedding.

Anne Matthews has a great selection of wedding gowns that are very reasonable in price. However, one of my bridesmaids was in a very bad car accident a few months before the wedding so when we went to get them fitted for their dresses she was in a back and neck brace. Having one of the owners of the store being physically criple i was rather disturbed when the other owner seen my bridesmaid and laughed. I thought it to be very unprofessional and rude. The mens tuxes were very over priced! And they were constanly loosing my information and consultation, they have a great selection but are very un organized!

This store is your typical, over the top, everything you can think of Bridal Shop. I went here to buy my veil and shoes, and ended up purchaseing multiple accessories like our cake topper, a "Just Married" spaggetti strap shirt, an inter-changeable "Bride/ Just Married" Boat hat, and my garter, (with hearts on it). All these items were beautiful. (The cake topper was somthing you would probably see at the dollar store, but cost $8, yet it was adoreable.)
I only regret that I did not shop around, and instead bought everything on a spur of the moment. My MOH and I could never get together, (I later re-named someone else MOH who could be there for me,) so I had to go by myself, as it was only 2 months prior to the wedding and I needed shoes and a veil.
NONE of the shoes were comfortable. I must have tried on two or three dozen pairs, and not ONE of them liked me. (Thank goodness, they were $50 and up for the ugliest ones!) Then I looked at veils. I had gone in wanting a medium length veil with flowers embroidered and a tierra. When I discovered this would cost me over $100 for the two, I decided on a communion type veil that had a hoop of flowers around it and only cost $35. At this point I wanted to shop around because the veil was very white, while my dress was ivory, and they did not have this veil in ivory, however the wedding shop convinced me that I would need to buy my veil RIGHT AWAY because they didn't have any others and to order would take 2-4 months at least! OMG, I bought the veil (no returns once it leaves the store) along with the other items mentioned above. About a week later, I discovered theknot.com. I saw that veils cost much less everywhere else, (with less shipping time too,) and I saw the EXACT same boat hat and shirt I had bought for HALF of the price. I will definatly shop around next time (not a next time for me,lol) ... Thank GOD I didn't buy the shoes!

Ann Matthew's was a great place to get my bridesmaid's dresses, they were very thorough in everything they did. They even walked me through a couple of snags that needed to be taken care of. They always answered their phone and if they did not they would call you back right away. They were a great help to me. Thank you!

Oh my.... Well, it's a quaint little shop..... they are very nice people... and they seemed very thorough at measuring for the tuxes.... but they have nothing in"stock' so you cannot see anything... they won't order anything in advance so you can make sure it looks okay.... so 3 days before the wedding they get the tuxes in.... the grooms: the shirt is about 3" too long...and it has what appeared to be lipstick stain on it..... they also did not order shoes...so they will order them from Houston, the shoes come in the next day fine.... the shirt, still wrong! We bought one from Men's Warehouse..... the best man: pants are about an inch too short.... Groomsman: well other issue with his arrival made his fitting the day of the wedding..... and it was bad, not only were the pants about 3" to short, but the waist was about 3" too wide.... good thing we had safety pins in those bridal bags...... They were also nasty about returning them... it HAD to be Sunday.... We told them because of all the problems the caused they could wait till we got time... there was no argument at that point
