Ada Sent on 10/14/2015Amy did my hair and makeup for both my wedding and my engagement photos. My wedding was in Temecula, but I chose to look for a makeup artist experienced with working on Asian faces, even if it meant paying extra fees for traveling. I made the right choice choosing Amy! Several people commented on how nice my hair and makeup looked on my wedding night.
During my trial(s), Amy listened to my concerns and what I wanted. The makeup was a breeze for her, but she did have trouble putting my hair in a high bun during the trial (my hair is not the easiest to work with). Because my hair/makeup trial doubled up as my engagement photo makeup/hair later that day, she did not want me to be late to my photo session and offered to give me a 2nd trial on my hair before the wedding. Even though a high bun might seem like an easy hairstyle, it's difficult to pull off for my hair type, and I was really impressed by Amy's work on my wedding day!
Amy is truly sincere in making sure that you are happy with her work. Her rates are also fair compared to others I looked into. I highly recommend Amy for your wedding hair and makeup! -

Julie Sent on 10/08/2014I absolutely love… love… love… Amy's work!!! Amy's makeup/hair work is amazing and the pictures attest to her talented abilities. I’ve known Amy way back when we were hop-scotching our way to the hearts of young bad boys ☺ I found my prince charming and immediately knew Amy would be the one to transform my look into a stunning bride. And boy did she accomplish that in many ways!!!
I booked Amy for my engagement photo session in June at Laguna Beach. I wanted my makeup to be light and natural yet still be able to show on photos. She did exactly what I wanted and the makeup lasted all day without any smudge.
Fast forward to my wedding day in September. I booked Amy to do my hair and makeup, 4 bridesmaids (she being one of them ☺), 2 moms and my sister. Amy was very professional and had a schedule timeline of who she was going to do next and when the time would be. She showed up on time and was super efficient. My mom-in-law bought an extra person to do makeup and Amy was extremely accommodating and fitted her in the schedule. You rarely see someone with her talent be so humble and kind. She puts you at ease and make sure you are beautiful and satisfied. I’ve received so many compliments on my hair and makeup and that it lasted all day!
Her work speaks for itself!! I definitely recommend Amy for your bridal makeup and hair needs!! She is truly one of the best gems out there!

User1670499 Sent on 06/20/2014Amy is wonderful!! I did a trial for my engagement shoot and loved her work, so I hired her for the wedding day. We originally had booked her for bridal and 1 bridesmaid... But at last minute other bridesmaids wanted in and 2 flower girls. We were tight on time. Amy was so accommodating. She brought an assistant with her and fit every one in. We all looked great bc of her work. I would hire her again when the occasion arises.... Definitely hire her! You won't be disappointed.. She's great at communicating with you and is so nice!! -

Patricia Sent on 08/17/2012I hired Amy to do my make up and hair for my wedding in May. Her and her team also did hair for 7 of my bridesmaids! Let me start with my trial session - I've had a few trial sessions with other stylists before her, none of which spent the time to really listen to what I wanted nor could they execute the look I wanted. When I went to Amy, she literally spent 2.5 hours with me and my 2 bridesmaids on my makeup and hair. She started with light makeup, so I could compare and contrast that with heavier makeup. She took photos of both so I could see which I liked best. The make up was beautiful. Then she went on to my hair and tried at least 4-5 hairstyles! We finally ended up with a style I absolutely loved. I booked her on the spot for my wedding day.
On my wedding day, her and her team drove all the way down to San Diego to glam us up at my hotel. They spent about 4 hours to get us all ready on time. She is very sensitive to time and always made sure her team was making good time, so we weren't late! She's extremely kind and patient.. most importantly she puts the bride first and really made me feel special and confident that she was going to do everything to make my "look" perfecto. Her prices are very affordable and she was really generous with her time.
I highly recommend Amy, especially if you and your bridal party are asian and want a soft, graceful look. -
User759444 Sent on 03/20/2012Amy was excellent!! She was beyond my expectations and I was very happy. She made me look and feel beautiful. She totally worked with me even though I kept changing my mind and couldn't decide on what I wanted. She worked with me all the way up until my wedding day. She was very professional, gave me a kit for the day, and very responsive. She came early and spent a lot of time on me, even though no one else in my party was using her. I highly recommend her.
