Amp was the best choice I made for my wedding! The DJ Ryan was so awesome, he met with us and we were able to personalize our entire event, which is just what I wanted! If I wanted to make any changes, he was always just a call, text or email away. Plus I got the most for my money with them compared to other companies. Best choice we made! I definiely recommend AMP DJ! The dj part was the least stressful part of my wedding planning, thanks to ryan at amp!

Ken was the DJ for my wedding on 11.11.11 and I can not thank him enough for everything that he did! He was very on top of everything from the very beginning and always answered any questions in a timely fashion. I have had so many friends and family that have complimented the music and the Photobooth and they said they were the best part of the reception!! I HIGHLY reccomend getting the photobooth for any event it is an awesome way to look back at the night and see how much fun your guests had. Eveyone had so much fun at my reception that they litterally did get off the dance floor when the night was over. People kept asking for one more song even after our final songs were played! Our night ended with us in the middle of a circle surrounded by our family and friends singing along to "All you need is love". It was the perfect ending to our wedding and we owe it all to you!Thank you so much again for giving us such a wonderful night that we will remember for the rest of our lives!

All we can say is WOW! AMP DJ Services supplied the DJ, photo booth, and up lighting for our wedding and it could not have gone better! Ken the DJ kept everyone on the dancefloor all night (even our grandparents!). He played everything we wanted for all the dances, bridal party, and of course dancing! The photo booth was a HUGE hit and the up lighting really added that elgance we were looking for! If you are looking for a GREAT service AMP DJ Services is the way to go! Highly recommend them!

Ken was my DJ on October 22,2011for my wedding and he was fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better DJ. He was on top of everything and was on Que with all the music. He played a wide range of music and played music that people got into at any age. He really knows how to read your guest and what to play to get them dancing all night long:) He also was a wonderful announcer. Spoke very clear and just has the right voice for it. I was so very pleased with DJ Ken, exspecially because I didn't even give him the check list of all the songs and the wedding parties name intill 10min before we started. I thought for sure he might mess-up or get confused, but he was above and beyound on his professionalism and his love for what he does. I would strongly recommend Ken for dj services for any event. He is WONDERFUL!!!!

Ken was our DJ for our wedding and the only thing me and my wife can saw is "WOW". Ken was unbelievably professional, he kept people on the dance floor all night, and his setup looked classy and matched our wedding colors. His music selection was superb and made the evening eventful and fun for all ages. His ideas around games and introductions was spot on, and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. We used AMP DJ Services to provide a photo/video booth for our reception. Ken (owner) was great at communicating with us, and was very professional with his presentation. All of our guests commented on how much fun it was. Masks, wigs, hats, etc were also provided for our guests to use. We would absolutely recommend contacting AMP DJ for your wedding.

Ken was awesome at our wedding, he responded to all calls and emails promptly during the planning and kept us updated with his plans for the day. He did a great job keeping everyone on track for entrances and speeches and everything ran so smoothly!!! He did a great job with all the music and played a great mix of songs that had the dance floor packed all night!! I would absolutely hire him for our DJ again, wouldn't change a thing!!

Ken was the DJ at our recent wedding and he was great! He was very prompt in returning calls and communicating with us. On the day of the wedding he was at our reception ready to go early and all set up. Throughout the evening he was in charge of "running the show" with announcements, speeches and toasts, dances, and all the other events. Ken was organized and professional when planning our event and very responsive when we had questions or issues.

We even needed a custom edit to our 1st dance and to our surprise and delight he was able to give us a seamless cut of the source material exactly the way we needed it. Ken was the DJ at our recent wedding, although the label of DJ does not do him justice. He was absolutely fantastic! Ken was more than just the DJ who played the music for the ceremony and reception; he was also the person who kept the evening moving along. During our first meeting, Ken talked about how he would make sure he kept in constant communication with the Reverend, photographer, and caterer. At the time, we didn’t realize how important this was. However, during the whirlwind of the evening, it was a huge relief to know that Ken was keeping the order of events on track (from the toasts to the first dances, etc.). Ken also checked in with us at several points throughout the evening to make sure we were doing alright and if we needed anything. When a glass broke on the dance floor, it was Ken who took the initiative to sweep it up. He truly is a team player and has the skills and personality to get along with anyone and take the lead when necessary. While Ken is truly professional, he is also polite, charismatic, and concerned and attentive in making sure that all the guests enjoyed themselves. Ken came highly recommended to us and we could not have been happier. Amp DJ services did an excellent job at our wedding! We were very pleased with their communication and ability to switch venues at literally the last hour (my wedding venue got flooded out). They were professional and a pleasure to work with!

Ken is a pro. In addition to being the DJ and MC of our wedding reception, he also provided the audio equipment and setup for our ceremony. When we first started out the process of planning our wedding, we had many questions concerning the music and reception timeline. Ken offered his experience and opinion of what might work best for us. We also had many requests such as pre-ceremony music, event timing, setup and lights, all of which Ken was happy to make happen. He was quite flexible, even up until the very end. He was always in communication with us, and his web tool made for easy organization. It made for a great team effort to turn our vision into reality.

The best measure of success though was the reaction of our guests. All night and days after the wedding, people kept telling us how much they enjoyed our DJ, and how great he was. We played Ken's version of the newlywed game at his suggestion, and it was a hit with everyone. He tried to work in everyone's music requests, while making sure to play our requests and keeping the dance floor booming all night long. We and our guests were also impressed with his mic and MC skills. Unlike how so many other DJs can be, he never came off as cheesy.

For a wedding, a DJ / MC is integral too keeping the party going and flowing smoothly. Ken understands this, and is a perfect example of what makes for a great DJ. We thank him for contributing to the rocking success that our wedding was!

The service of this DJ was above and beyond all expectations of an excellent DJ. We were in frequent contact via phone and e-mail with responses within 24 hours. He was very flexible and came through with my request of a projector the day before the wedding with no complaints and was not a problem for him.
The website for the DJ, to enter our info about the reception place, the songs, and our timeline for the night was so easy to use and put everything in an organized matter. I especially liked the timeline section to keep a schedule and really know how much time needs to be spent on the events of the night. I liked how there were song reccomendations and an area to pick songs to be played for sure, songs to be played if there was time and songs not to play.
Ken Murphy is a super nice, caring, understanding, and patient DJ/person. He was so helpful at the wedding with organizing our bridal party for the introductions. He helped us make sure we were aware of the time and made sure we got to do the things we wanted on our timeline in an non-pushy manner.

Ken DJed  in our wedding it was an outside wedding and inside reception. It was awesome how he accommodated putting his equipment outside for the ceremony with mics and music. I loved how quickly he moved from outside to inside!! He did this all on his own! He had a playlist for every age! From the young to the old! Asking for requests was so easy for all the guest to approach him with. His pre wedding communication with us was surprising as he was super detailed and eager to learn what we wanted him to play during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance. Our playlist ranged from DOO WOOP to 40's and 50's music to MODERN DANCE and even BACHATA, SALSA, and MERENGUE and he was able to provide these with no help from us! Which was something less to worry about. I would highly recommend him to any one! WE LOVED HIM!!! I'm keeping his card for our next event!

Kenny/AMP DJ was amazing at our wedding this weekend 4/23/11! He drove up to Geneva National in WI and was early and all set up (indoors and out) by the time we arrived! He was extremely organized, prepared and communicated well with the photographer, cordinator and me and my hubby through the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! Kenny stuck with the no play list and requested that guests check with my hubby and I prior to playing certain songs! He kept guests of all ages and music styles dancing the entire night! He did so well that our groomsmen paid to have Kenny stay an extra hour. Everyone at our wedding said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that's a huge compliment coming from our guests! I highly recommend Kenny and AMP DJ service! Best night of our lives and best DJ we could have asked for! Thanks for a memorable night Kenny, I can't say enough about you and wish you the best! Amazing job!

Ken Murphy was AWESOME!!!! He provided the DJ service for our wedding reception on 3/19/2011. He was very professional and even put up with our crazy families requests all night long.
