Allison did the calligraphy for our invitations and I was thoroughly impressed. Her prices are outstanding and her work is absolutely beautiful! She also did the tags for our wedding favors. Again, the price was great! The tags were adorable and she designed them, printed and delivered them in just a matter of days. I found Allison to be very easy to work with, flexible and understanding. I highly recommend her services!

Allison and her team do fabulous work. I could not have been more pleased with our invitations, place cards, and table numbers. Allison provides a huge selection of fabulous designs and her artistic creativity. If you're willing to spend money on paper, Allison Barnhill Designs is the way to go.

I am in love with Allison's work! Everything she created for our big day was amazing! She made our invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations, favor labels, programs, menu cards, escort cards and "Mr. and Mrs. signs". We received so many compliments on how gorgeous everything was. She's very responsive and turns a simple idea you have in your head into a masterpiece! I highly recommend her!

We received alot of comments on our invitations Handmade by Allison did. They were different but yet very sophisticated and stylish. The only complaint I have was the responsiveness. The office does not answer phone calls, only emails. Additionally, in the final product I had a spelling error in my directions which was not there on the proofs. I was the only one who noticed, but I had hoped she would have been a little more diligent in her work for the amount we spent there. Other than that, she exceeding our expectations on what we wanted in our wedding invitations.

Allison and her staff are wonderful! I had a very unique vision and which they understood and even offered additional creative input. I purchased invitations, menu cards, seating cards, and other stationary. Their turnaround time is great and they even provided a rush order of additional invitations. The quality of their work is so exceptional that it doesn't even look handmade. The packaging and presentation is another extension of their attention to detail. They can make any vision that you have come to life and are very friendly. They do prefer email communication, but respond fairly quickly. They also welcome in person visits during business hours.

Working on the paper products (invitations, programs, table/place cards, favor boxes, etc.) with Allison was so much fun. She had great ideas and made everything fit into our color scheme. Allison and her team were fantastic!!!!! We lived about 4 hours from Baltimore so she was very flexible about e-mailing me choices and designs and doing everything over the internet. The invitations were so great... I got tons of compliments about their originality. "Classy" was the word that everyone used! I tried to make my own programs for the ceremony and after hours of work and frustration I was pretty fed up with the whole process. I called Allison on very short notice to see if she could make my programs and she agreed without hesitation. We worked out the design quickly and they were ready and waiting for me to pick up on our wedding weekend. I'm so happy we were able to work with her!

After graduating college, we averaged about 12 weddings per year. Despite putting a significant dent in our accounts and calendars, it did give us many ideas, likes and dislikes when it came to planning our own wedding. One of our biggest peeves was the envelope stuffed with multiple sets of directions and information cards, none of which you can find come time to leave for the wedding.
When we started looking for our own invitations, we found that we only liked portions of certain invitations, but most of the standard sites didn't allow for custom designs. Onto Google I went to search for "custom wedding invitations Baltimore" and there I found Handmade by Allison. Her site gave me a clue into her great work and meeting her in person reinforced all of the good perceptions I had. She was creative, professional and had her act together.
We decided to use Allison's services for our Save-the-Dates, invitations, ceremony programs, name cards, table names and reception programs. The results were wonderful! After sending out the Save-the-Dates she made, we received many phone calls complimenting the design. The response cards to our invitations were filled with compliments on the design, colors, elegance and organization. Our guests noticed the theme that continued onto our programs and many requested additional programs to keep for themselves or to show other brides.
Looking at each product, you know that Allison puts a lot of thought and all of her heart into everything she does! My husband will say that the only problem is that now I look for more events to host, just so we can book her again.

I was married during the Christmas holiday and wanted to tie that in to my wedding. I ordered my wedding invitations from her and boy did they set the tone! They were perfect and more than I ever could have asked for. If you are willing to spend just a little extra, it is so worth it! I even was able to ask her for her advise on certain wording. She was so sweet and was willing to listen to any concerns that I had. Amazing!!

Handmade by Allison's work is so phenomenal and I find myself consistently without enough adjectives to explain her! Going into the wedding planning process, I set out with colors, vision, and one main goal...on our wedding day I wanted everything to be pulled together and coordinated down to the very last detail. Allison completely brought every aspect of our visions together because she is so thorough, inventive, and considerate of your ideas and opinions during the entire process and on every piece of communication. I was so impressed with our final product and we received ENDLESS compliments from friends and family about how beautiful all of her work really was. She is such a good listener which is a quality of a wedding vendor that you just should not be without. I was so precise about what I truly wanted and Allison never once complained about any of even my most minor changes (brides can be so picky!) but instead would gracefully alter our items until we both agreed they were perfect! The amount of patience that she possesses is astonishing. It is so amazing to me still that she is able to provide each wedding couple with her undivided attention on every phone call, email, or meeting even as her business continues to grow so quickly. You really feel like you are her only client! Allison has such a positive service mentality that even on the day before my wedding when our dinner menu changed she said "no problem" was able to correct all of our (already completed, mind you!) menus and turn them over to me in ample time for our big day. She was with me through every step of the day (as she was one of the first people that we booked) and helped to share all of my ups, downs, and in betweens throughout the entire process and I am forever grateful for her work! If you want someone that is able to compliment your style through their work and has an incredible amount of vision and creativity to take even your own ideas to a totally new level....Allison is the designer for you. I just cannot say enough great things about her.
