Great service. My dress came in three weeks after I ordered it. That is very rare but it happened to me. The woman working with me was so awesome. She worked hard and was determined to make me look and feel stunning. She was very catering and had great advise for accessories.

I loved my dress, but they gave my bridesmaids a hard time when ordering their dresses and then called ME to complain...Not professional.

I was extremely happy with the service I received from AA. I had a different dress on layaway at a different bridal boutique. I came into AA very stressed that I did not feel like I had found "the dress". The lady I worked with seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. Within an hour I had "the dress!!!"

When i went in for my dress the girl who helped me was great. Some of my bridesmaids did have problems with them. They fitted one of my girls wrong and wanted to charge her an additional $100 dollars to have it fixed before the wedding.

I absolutely loved my Disney fairytale dress... Snow white was one of my favorite princesses growing up! It fit perfectly and I got so many compliments. When I went in the store, all the ladies were very nice and helpful. I have nothing negative to say about Alfred angelo! I would recommend them to all of my friends in a heartbeat!

This store was amamxing! They went above and beyond and everyone loved the final look!

The bridal consultants were very helpful and not only paid attention to fitting the dress, but seemed truly interested in their brides. They asked how couples met, wanted to see pictures, and asked about plans for the wedding day. They made brides feel like brides, not just customers. We actually had appointments at two additional bridal shops after visiting this one, but canceled them since we were happy here. In fact, they immediately recognized the bride's type and style and she chose the second dress they had her try on!

This bride happened to be a military bride on a very tight timeframe. They worked with us to rush the dress order for, what we thought was, a minimal charge of $35. They also agreed to do fittings on weekends, since the bride would be driving in from a military base several hours away and couldn't get away during the week. That was a life-saver. Finally, because the wedding was not in San Antonio but was in Iowa, they had the gown shipped once the fittings were complete. This wedding took a lot of coordination and this shop was very helpful in making it all work!

Alfred Angelo was a great place to find a beautiful gown and not break the bank! I did not have an appointment but they still made me feel very welcome and attended to my every need while trying on dresses. I received my dress in a timely manner and it was gorgeous!

Tatiana was the consultant who helped me find my amazing dress and she was WONDERFUL! She really made me feel special, and it wasnt a high pressure sales store like David's Bridal... wow, I felt like a cow being herded in and out when I went to David's Bridal... I actually found a dress I liked more at Davids but Tatiana was so great and the store was so nice, that I paid more and was happy to when I purchased my gown at Alfreds. I will say though that their bridesmaids dresses are a little bit too high. My girls and mother did buy their dresses with them, but had davids carried our color (eggplant) we might have headed over there for the 99 gown sale. It all turned out beautifully though and Alfred Angelo is to thank! Their seamstress was also efficient and friendly, and her prices were fair. I would not buy the veil in the store though, or the accessories, unless you can catch them when they have a sale. Let me start by saying this... They have a wonderful dress selection, but the company as a whole has a very poor way of organizing the way you obtain your purchases. At least, that is how I felt with my experience. I absolutely would not recommend this torture upon anyone. The store located at 9951 Ih 10 W, San Antonio, TX was nothing but a headache for me throughout my wedding planning. I live approximately 200 miles away. Believe it or not, this was the closest location for me. I most definitely would not have chosen this merchant had they not had the dress that I loved. After driving 3 hours for the initial "fitting" which was basically picking out the dress I wanted and finding the size I thought would be nearly perfect, I was told to come back in three months, because that is how long it would take for the "manufacturer" to pull a generic size off of the rack and send it to that store. So, I came back in three months, and realized that they had ordered the dress completely wrong. I, at that point only had 1 month left until my wedding, and they were once again trying to tell me that it would take 3 months to get the correct dress in. While I was dealing with this, I saw yet another bride burst into tears when they told her that her alterations were not included in the price that she had already paid, and she was expecting to simply pick up her dress and be on her way, however she could not afford the unexpected fee at that time. I too, needed alterations, as the dress (if it had arrived in my correct size and color) would not be equipped to bustle - every customer would be forced to have the alterations whether they wanted them or not, because none of the GENERIC dresses came fully functional. I quickly decided that I would find my own seamstress if I could just get the right dress in. When I finally got them to agree that they could get the dress there in less than a month, (they oh so kindly waived the express shipping fee that they tried to force upon me - yes, yet another hidden cost) I left and drove my 3 hours home empty handed and quite irate. Two weeks before my wedding, I was told my dress was in, I drove the three hours back to get it, I got there, and it looked like it had been wadded up into the size of a football and hung up about 5 minutes before I arrived. The wrinkles in it were unbelievable. They then tried to tell me that if I wanted it pressed, it would be an additional fee, and that it would take a week + for it to return. Needless to say, I hastily took the dress while I could and I took it to my local dry cleaner's to press it - for 20 dollars less than what Alfred Angelo offered as their fee.

Overall, as I work as a customer service supervisor in retail myself, I was highly unimpressed by the level of service that I received. Their dresses are beautiful, but deceiving. Be completely prepared to spend twice as much on the dress than what the pricetag says, if not more. If you order your dress from this merchant, you will have to have alterations, you will have to have it pressed, and you will have to have a good year's worth of time before your wedding. For you to look as good as you want to in your dress from Alfred Angelo, you will spend a fortune. Believe me. I was never informed of hidden fees, such as alterations or pressing until need for such arised. I was never told at the time of my purchase why it would take so long for the dress to arrive in the store, and then it be a mad dash to get the alterations and pressing done thereafter and right before the wedding.

My bridesmaids also got their dresses from them as well, and also had a terrible time being unprepared for such unexplained fees, additional waiting time for the dresses themselves, etc. Even with different locations, the consistent lack of communicating such procedures makes me not want to reccomend Alfred Angelo to any future bride. Go to the competitor instead. Simply put.

I kick myself everyday for not choosing their competitor. The only thing this vendor has going for them is their dress selections. Otherwise, I don't see how they can afford to stay in business.

Let me start by saying I LOVED my dress and it was a great price.

However, the staff was simply awful. The first time I went in they were really rude. It was about half an hour to close and they made it clear I wasn't welcome to try dresses on. I just wanted to try the one dress - the one I ended up buying! They let me do it but weren't very helpful. They mustered up some friendliness once they realized I was going to place an order. I paid almost as much for alterations as the dress cost and she really screwed up. She took it in at least 1/2" more than planned, hemmed it too short, and screwed up the bustle. I was devastated. Luckily I found a seamstress to save the dress. In the end, I paid more for alterations (original + second try) than I did on the dress. Fortunately the seamstress did SAVE the dress and it ended up being okay.

AA has some nice dresses that are relatively reasonably priced but don't expect much out of the employees. I worked in bridal for several years so I know how they are supposed to treat customers. It was disappointing.

My bridesmaids also ordered from this store. Three of them told me the people they spoke to weren't very friendly. They also charged my girls for shipping then misplaced the record of payment. They found it eventually but it was a pain.

I also ordered invitations. They were reasonably priced and really nice. My only complaint was that the RSVP envelopes were printed VERY crooked. They sat in the store for days until I finally called and asked about them. I guess no one had checked them because they should have caught the mistake. I had to pay extra to get decent envelopes in time to mail them out.

I got my wedding dress and my sister got her bridesmaid gown here. They had beautiful gowns, but none of them had sleeves, which I wanted. They don't do any reconstruction (adding sleeves) so I found a great dress and we decided to order extra fabric and they would have their seamstress make a balero jacket to fit over the top.
They ordered the wrong color dress and fabric - both different colors. So they reordered. When everything finally came in, the seamstress went on vacation and I was told she'd be back in two weeks, but not to worry, she'd have more than enough time to work on my gown and jacket - this is eight weeks before my wedding.
I finally get in and fitted and she gets everything set - the dress was beautiful. I go back for the second fitting and everything's great except for the jacket. It was made beautifully, but she made it too short so every time I'd lift up my arms there was about a foot of space between my dress and the jacket. So she was going to fix that. Well we didn't have time for a second fitting and so I left for my wedding under the assumption that it was fixed, which I find out at the wedding it wasn't. When I dance, the dress is too big on the top and slips down so I have to lift it every 15 minutes - which is shown on my video tape. The bustle was too heavy and ripped, so the gown needed to be safety pinned in the back. At my wedding.

THEY HAVE BEAUTIFUL AFFORDABLE DRESSES. THE SERVICE WAS WOUNDERFUL. I AM NOW ACTUALLY GOOD FRIENDS W/ THE GIRL WHO SOLD ME MY DRESS. SHE REMEBERED ME EVERY TIME I CAME IN, AND COULD PULL MY DRESS W/O EVEN LOOKING TO SEE WHICH ONE I GOT. THAT MADE ME FEEL VERY SPECIAL.

If you are a curvy girl, Alfred Angelo is the place for you. I had the best experience.
