My invites were exactly what I was looking for. I saw similar invites for 2x the price. Aluan by Design was so easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

I used Alaun by Design based on a recommendation from my sister who used them for her wedding last year and said they were wonderful/inexpensive. I live in FL, so everything was done by phone/email also. I don't know what happened with the last reviewer, but I didn't have those problems at all!! Every time I called them Merissa and the other lady (forgot her name) were super nice and accommodating!! They walked me through everything and designed beautiful invites, programs & place cards for me!! I did have some changes I needed made (name spellings, color change, etc.) that they fixed promptly for me... Even a change at the last minute on a name!! The price was great as well, and I was able to tie in all the same fonts/colors together. You are able to get samples of ribbons/cardstock if you ask for a charge (which I recommend because sometimes the internet doesn't have the exact color match). I was worried initially because they told me it would take a while to get my order... however I was extremely surprised when I got my order w/in 3wks of ordering!!! I guess they must've not been too busy... but that was for both my invites (ordered in Feb) and my programs/place cards (ordered in May)!!! I have nothing bad to say about Alaun!! Everything came out perfectly!! I definitely recommend them!

The invitations I ordered from Alaun by Design turned out ok- Well, for the low prices, I guess you get what you pay for. The mongram was just taped to each invitation and in some of them, you can see where it was perforated so it looked cheap. Everything else was ok.

Moving on the customer service. Where do I begin? First of all, the one I dealt with was Merissa. Based on the other reviews, they're making her out to be like a nun. I don't know if I just caught her on a bad day but she was a complete snotty bitch.

To start, she sent me an agreement to sign. I printed, signed and emailed back. I got confirmation from her saying "thank you" for sending your agreement. 2 days later, she emails me saying "we still haven't received your signed agreement, please see attached, sign and send back to us..." Looks like they can't even keep track of their emails. By the way, this is how they communicate with their customers- via email. Everything from what you want you want on your invitations (colors, font, text, maps, etc.) to any changes you may need. So getting what you want is a bit of a challenge. On to more mistakes....

The 1st set of proofs, they screwed up my zip code. I sent the correction in, they sent another set of proofs "with corrections to your zip code". Nope- same wrong zip code. I had to tell them once again. By this time, I was only looking for misspellings, wrong dates, etc. Didn't even realize they didn't put my requested RSVP date on my reponse card. 3rd set of proofs looked good so I gave them the go. 2 hrs. later I looked again, realized the RSVP date I requested on there is missing! I called & emailed her and she said it was too late I will be charged if I want them reprinted. I had EXACTLY what I wanted them to print in my original email and they MISSED IT. How the hell could a company who prints invitations on a daily basis forget to add the RSVP date on a response card??? And wouldn't they catch that before they go ahead and print it?

I asked Merissa why was this overlooked when it was in my original email, in black and white? Well, instead of an apology, Merissa said that since I sent 3-4 emails to them with slight changes, that it was overlooked. She basically blamed me for sending more than one email with changes, so I "confused them", causing them to overlook this. NO APOLOGY AT ALL!!!

I then asked her if I could pay just a portion of it(because I still think they do have *some* fault in not even including it when I specifically put it in the email), and she just laughed saying no, "it was my responsibility, refer back to the agreement." She laughed again, and said "you are 100% responsible, it is our policy, what part of the agreement didn't you understand?... Bottom line, is if you want your invitations reprinted, you WILL be charged. Let us know now because they're ready to be shipped." I then told her that the way she was handling things is unprofessional and asked her if she talks to all her customers that way. She didn't answer the question but reminded me once again that I need to make a decision on whether I want them to proceed with the shipment, or have them reprint it with the RSVP date but to be aware that I will see the charge on my credit card.

I had no choice but to pay extra for them to reprint because of course, I wanted my invitations to be exactly the way I had described to them in the first place. I'm sure she's sweet as be once they have your money and if you have no complaints or notify them of their faults. But if there is a problem with your order, be ready to deal with a rude, unprofessional, sarcastic, incomepetent person named Merissa. All in all, I wish I would've ordered somewhere else. I'm sure I would've gotten better quality invitations (not that these were bad because they do look nice, you can just see they're cheaply made), and better customer service for sure.

Alaun was fantastic. I was looking for relatively inexpensive pocketfold invitations. My invites were a variation of pocketfolds. We went back and forth with many revisions until they were exactly as I wanted them. They came quickly and preassembled. I got many raves on them as well. If you're looking for different styles without a massive cost, Alaun is great.

We used Alaun By Design for both our Save the Dates and invitations and couldn't have been more please. The staff is great to deal with over the phone and via email, we couldn't have been happier with the products or service we received. Our guests loved both the invites and Save the Dates. You can't beat the price for the quality, also I liked that the samples had our info on them instead of whatever they had laying around, it was nice. I would and do recommend them to friends.

Great invites. Waited until the last minute (of course!) and paid extra for the rush order. $75, I believe. Well worth it. I had the invites within 2 weeks of original order, and that was after multiple edits to the emailed proofs. Very responsive. I live in PA and the are in Nebraska, so everything was done via email, other than the initial order placement, which was over the phone. Their prices can't be beat!! We customized everything!

Beautiful, cost effective. Liked the package deals that they offer- all invite parts and thank you notes too. I also got my wedding programs from them as well.

Purchased Save the Dates and Invitations from Alaun by Design. I am in NC, they are in Nebraska...all communication via e-mail. Be sure when you order your wedding invitation set you specify you want an inner envelope, you're in for a surprise if you don't!

Received raving compliments on our paper products...Merissa did an awesome job on designing everything. We were even able to use our personalized monogram as a tag on the front of our invitations.

i had a great experience with alaun by design and i would highly recommend them. they are a great value and produce great results! they also ship quickly. very reliable and it was a pleasure working with them!

You cannot beat their pricing and quality. We customized our invitations, wine labels and menus to match our winter wedding theme. They were so easy to work with and they turned out better than I could have expected. We received so many compliments on them and in New Jersey I could have never touched this quality and style for even a fraction of what we paid Alaun. My only downfall with them was that we ordered 125 wine labels and only received 70. Unfortunately we realized it only 2 days before the wedding and 2 hours before I had to drop all the wine bottles of at our venue. They were very apologetic and refunded very quickly - I just wish they had double checked the shipment before sending them out.

I used Alaun by Design for my escort cards because I had already DIY'd all my other paper/stationary and didn't want to deal with writing up and printing these as well. They were beyond affordable and very responsive. They have a huge selection of fonts, colors and paper and ship you samples free of charge! Would definitely recommend if you don't want to go the DIY route.

Merissa and Niki at Alaun by Design were a pleasure to work with. I made several changes to my invitations during the process and they were always patient, professional and responsive. And the invitations came out great!

You cannot beat Alaun by Design's pricing and quality. Our invitations, programs and menus were completely customized based on what I had in mind, looked fantastic, and were raved about by our guests, but cost a fraction of what I would have paid at our local invite shop. My invitations arrived a little later than expected, so I would recommend ordering extra early, but other than that small issue, I would definitely recommend!

I really liked this vendor. We had some snafus but everything worked out well in the end. They did some beautiful invites, thank you notes, and programs for me. They are easy to work with but do be sure you specify/confim everything via email and not just over the phone so there are no mistakes. They are very nice people and you will enjoy working with them.

My invitations I got to create myself and they turned out better than expected. They have great quality and customer service. They have great prices too. They also have a package deal where you get everything for a certain price and that price was right! haha They have a great deal if you are a budget bride.

Program Fans and Place Card Fans-they came out beautiful, just as I designed, but the glue didn't hold up to par for some of the fans. Which made me mad cause this was something I could have DIY'd but decided to pay for convenience...so I recommend them but if you order these things from them, ask for better glue.

I loved my invites. I choose the Sleek collection, and got so many compliments!! I would recommend ordering them 6 months at least prior to mail date, they are very busy, and you will see why. Great work, good communication beautiful invites, awesome prices! Can be hard to get a hold of sometimes, but overall excellent!
