Alan was very acomodating to our requests and ideas. We felt so comfortable in our engagement session. He was very patient to get the last shot that we wanted, we had a great time and got nice pictures. Alan has a lot I experience and we describe him as a photographer that "captures the moment" burbs right moment. Our wedding will live visually forever thanks to Alan's great photographs.

Alan is an exquisite genius, our journey started when we entered his Valentine’s Day contest on facebook needless to say we were the blessed couple who won. We were completely nervous but Alan and Silke came out on a frigidly February cold NYC day and made us feel so warm and comfortable. Our engagement pictures were fantastic to say the least. I was completely amazed on how beautiful they were. On the same day without even seeing the pictures we knew that Alan was going to be our wedding day photographer; we felt it down in our cold bones (weather joke).
There aren’t any words to describe how SUPERB our wedding day photos were. You can see Alan’s photography passion in every shot; they were vibrant, colorful and full of life. It’s amazing to see photos of moments that you remember so clearly but did not realize you were being photographed… that’s what Alan did for us; Alan captured every unique moment of our wedding. I hear compliments everyday on the astonishing work that Alan did for us. Someone said to me “If you want to believe in love and get married people just need to look at your pictures” that is a testament on how beautiful Alan made us look. We highly recommend Alan who was our photographer and guru on our wedding day. We look forward in working with him again- just the thought makes us smile.

I would recommend Alan Abrams wholeheartedly and without reservation. He worked efficiently, creatively, and unobtrusively. He photographed all the family shots without fuss, simply snapping away, and the results were phenomenal. Everyone was relaxed, and happy. He is very creative and did some extraordinary photos with backlighting. He also captured the fun moments of the event. He was totally flexible and easy to work with. He did pre-wedding photos of the bride and groom which they used in a guest book. Very fun. He's an extraordinarily talented photographer. By the way, he drove to CT three times. Once to meet us, second for the engagement shoot, and third, for the wedding, so talk to him even if you think you live too far away from L.I.

Alan is amazing! We can't say enough great things about him! Our story could have been a nightmare when it comes to photographers - we started off with one who ended up being extremely unresponsive, so basically 3.5 months before the wedding I was in a panic and started re-looking for photographers. I hadn't found Alan on the first search, bt I'm SO happy I did on the second! Not only was Alan super responsive from the beginning, he took wonderful photos both at our engagement shoot as well as at the wedding. I never knew we could look that good! At the wedding itself, Alan was a wonderful photographer, to the point where people didn't even realize he was there for most of it, despite the fact that he was able to get photos of almost everyone! Alan was extremely flexible, enthusiastic, and a great person to work with. I look forward to sharing his talent with friends in the area for their weddings (and already have recommended him to a couple of friends) and (hopefully!) having him involved in other major life events for us in the future!

Alan was truly wonderful. He never pushed to do trite poses and was so laid back and easy going that everyone around him felt comfortable. He does a more photo journalistic spread which I thought really caught the essence of the day. And he was willing to take risks to get the shot just right.

My favorite part was that we didn't spend fifty billion hours taking photos- he was quick and kept everyone up in spirits. He understood exactly what my husband and I were looking for. I'd recommend him to everyone!
