If you want to have your wedding and reception in one place, Airlie Center is a perfect choice. The updated Pavilion is AMAZING!! It is so beautiful and I still get compliments to this day. The gardens are beautiful and a great place for wedding and cocktail hour. Airlie's food was excellent and the service the evening of my wedding was much more than I expected. Tina who was our contact up until our wedding was always available for my questions and really puts you at ease when planning your wedding. In the end, we had an amazing wedding, one which I will never forget and a venue that was everything I dreamed.

Airlie is quite possibly the least professional place I have ever visited. My fiance and I were all set to have the wedding there, despite Tina, the wedding coordinator (if you can even call her that).

Most places allow tastings so we wanted to taste the food we were about to spend $20K on. It took her 3 weeks to set up a tasting, when we finally arrived they gave us one plate of food. It was a flank steak! I can buy a flank steak for $3 at the store, they were charging us $150 a plate! Keep in mind the steak was chewy and not cooked very well.

Despite all this we were still willing to have our wedding at Airlier, however, once Tina walked out on the tasting and didn't show us around the grounds because she was "done working," that is what put it over the top.

Despite wonderful settings how could anyone spend $20k- $30K on a wedding where the people do not pay personally attention to you. Tina doesn't even show up the day of the wedding! So the person you are in contact with year round is not even willing to show up the day of the big even because "she doesn't work on saturdays." Imagine you are a teacher and a students comes after school for help and you say "sorry im done working."

I have never seen such poor professionalism in all my life. Its too bad because the grounds are gorgeous they just have to get a new staff!!! My fiance was in complete tears by the time we left because no one cared if we chose that place or not.

Beware of the STAFF!!!!

I fell in love with Airlie as soon as my fiance' showed it to me the weekend he proposed. Thankfully my Mom did too when we brought her a few months later. It is a little more expensive then other venues, but it is worth it since everything, but the dj, florist, cake, and photographer is included. The food is fabulous!! We had a buffet dinner but they offered to serve us (the bride and groom) to help keep things moving. The staff was accommodating and willing to answer questions before hand, but sometimes you had to wait a couple of days to get a response. We received nothing but compliments about our wedding and we had a great time ourselves too :)

Airlie is absolutely beautiful and I definitely recommend it as a venue for your wedding. Airlie essentially permits you to use their entire grounds for your wedding. We planned on having our ceremony in one part of the formal gardens, cocktail hour in a different part of the gardens, and reception in the dinning room of the main building. We also had a back-up plan for rain: the ceremony would be under the permanent pavillion and cocktails in conference room in the main building. The bride and bridesmaids are given a room on the second level of the main house to use all day for getting ready, etc. We requested that the wedding party, family, and all overnight guests be placed in the same hotel/lodge on the grounds and, because there were no other events at Airlie that day, Airle was able to accommodate us. The arrangment was very convenient. Your guests will like the fact that they do not have to drive from the ceremony to the reception and that they can book a room at Airlie to stay overnight. The food was SO good. My guests said that its was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Airlie's Special Events Manager, Tina Gray, was extremely professional and made time to meet with us in person on three separate occassions. She and her staff are very organized. The one problem that we had on the big day was handled by Tina as soon as she was contacted. It started to pour 2 hours before the ceremony and some staff members were refusing to move the guest chairs into the pavillion. One of my bridesmaids called Tina at home and within minutes, the chairs were moved. Everything after that went smoothly. Because of the weather and a car accident on the highway to Airlie that held up our guests, we started the ceremony a half hour late. Airlie still gave us a full cocktail hour and 4 hours of open bar, even though we had thrown the timeline off.

We LOVED Airlie. The facilities were beautiful inside and out - even in the rain. They were very flexible in moving our event from outside to inside the day before the wedding (due to weather). The service was excellent and responsive. We rented their cottages and had most of our guests stay on site so that we could have brunch with them the next morning. We also had the rehearsal dinner on site. Everything was flawless.

The staffs during the reception were very professional.They were wonderful and all my guests loved and enjoyed the food!What can I say? Airlie has charm, sophistication, and a laid back atmosphere that I would recommend to everyone!

Airlie is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect venue for our outdoor wedding. The staff was extremely professional and made sure the event ran smoothly from start to finish. Being able to have all of our friends and family stay on-site was a huge advantage. Would definitely recommend them!

Airlie Center is a fantastic venue. It is absolutely gorgeous, they give you your pick of where you would like the wedding and where you would like the reception, Tina Gray is wonderful to work with - did I mention it is gorgeous? We had guests constantly commenting to us both during and after the wedding about how beautiful the venue is. They provide the food and alcohol and the food is incredible. Many people told us it was the best wedding food they ever had. It is fresh (much grown from their own gardens) and very well prepared. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating. It is quite expensive for the area, but I would say well worth it.

The Airlie did a wonderful job with our wedding and reception. Tina Gray was so easy to work with and always answered my endless questions. All the staff at the Airlie the wedding weekend were very helpful and I didn't hear anyone complain about anything. The food at the reception was amazing! While the venue is pricey, it is worth it!

The grounds at Airlie are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately the weekend of our wedding it was raining and humid. Our ceremony and reception were held inside (which we were fine with and had prepared for). We had gone over specifics with their staff and everything was ignored. They appear to be very good - but do not ask them to change anything. We had upgraded to a sit down meal instead of a buffet and they did not have sufficient staff to serve it properly. A few examples - Our ceremony ended aprox. 5 minutes prior to the start of the cocktail hour. An Airlie staff member positioned herself in front of the bar and refused service to all until the hour hand on the clock struck 7pm. The rolls were actually placed on the tables after the main courses had all been cleared away. During the cocktail hour they had set up one long buffet (instead of passing them to the guests as stated in the package we purchased) in a small room and the majority of guests did not get any food. Coffee was never served until the groom starting serving our grandparents himself (rediculous!).
Our families stayed at Airlie and the majority of our guests were out of town (staying at Airlie and other hotels in the area). We had welcome bags prepared with directions, maps, events times etc. and they were not delivered to the guests. Considering the fact that we were the only function they had going on that weekend, it's kind of hard to understand why this was so difficult for them to do (especially since we had already been told in our meetings with them that it would not be a problem for them to place the bags in the rooms).
Positives - the food was VERY good. The staff very polite when you asked a question, but they were not at all pro-active.
I'm glad all the stress associated with them is over. Unfortunately, I would not recommed them at all.

The Airlie Center was perfect. The venue was gorgeous, which was our primary reason for booking with them, but the people who work at Airlie are even more wonderful than the venue. Tina Gray, the event coordinator, was fantastic to work with, kind, and flexible - very flexible. The chef was also very flexible in helping us to create a menu that was not only very tasty (one of my guests said our dinner was the best wedding dinner he had had in 30 years) but also within our budget (which was not very large). The staff that worked the wedding were attentive and professional. I simply cannot say enough good words to describe our experience with Airlie, and I would wholeheartedly recommend to them absolutely everyone.

We got married in the gardens at Airlie in the summer and we decided to hold an outdoor wedding. The wedding was gorgeous and the gardens where well kept and perfect for our ceremony. However, I felt the flexibility was fair to poor of the staff. I walked through the venue prior to selecting it with staff and I asked and was never shown the rain back up. Two days prior to the wedding they allowed to view the areas!! I was soo disappointed in the rooms and the coldness of the area for my wedding, in the end everything worked out well, but there where lots of last minute suprises. The food was awesome, but very expensive.

Airlie Conference Center was not not very responsive to my needs. I wish had my wedding somewhere else.

Beautiful location, environmentally friendly and just wonderful. I truly wouldn't change a thing about my wedding and probably have my venue, the Airlie Center, to thank.
