DVS provides Videography and Photography for your Wedding or special event . We provide you with a DVD with precious memories you can cherish for a life time. The DVD is presented in a Classic Black Leather Album. We use wireless Microphones at the church and are unobtrusive when capturing the footage, video is captured with a  high tech Sony 3chip digital broadcast camera.  We can provide 2 photographers for the event if needed, and shoot unlimited photos. Free consultation for video/photo. We specialize in journalistic style & traditional style photos. We primarily serve central Maryland, Delaware, Eastern Shore Maryland & parts of Virginia. Photography Details

How do you identify your primary photographic style? photojournalistic, traditional, etc.)

How many photographers do you work with? Two

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? 1/2 hour before contracted time.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? No

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day? One will be provided.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Cameras, lights,tripod,different opitical lenses for shooting in low lighting.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Yes

Do you charge hourly or full day? Charged by packages chosen.

If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime? Yes $50.00 1/2 hour

Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal? Yes please.

How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day? Meal break, but always alert for important things going on.

Do you charge for travel? Only if driving is over 3 hours.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? Proofs are edited down in the order clients book there event. If prime season proofs are ready in 5 to 6 weeks. Off season 3 to 5 weeks

In what format are the initial proofs offered? 4X6 prints

How long can the couple keep the proofs? Client can keep all proofs.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple? Files are available up on request.

Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery? No

What kind of albums do you offer? 4X6 Leather proof book. 12 page 8X10 Black Italian leather album.

When will I get the final book? Once photos are selected from proofs, album is completed in 3 weeks.

How long does it take to deliver a book? Once client has chosen selected prints, album is completed in 3 weeks.

Videography Details

Do you have lighting equipment to accomodate a more dimly-lit event? Yes

Does the bride get to meet the videographers before the wedding? Yes, arrangements can be made to meet videographer and also photographer.Call 443-859-8596 to set up appointment.

How many videographers do you work with? I have worked with 3 videographers on a multi-camera shoot.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? I'm on location 1 hour before contracted time.

Do you book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend? No

Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day? One will be provided. Once booked you are guaranteed to have the videographer you had your appointment with.

Do you give access to your raw footage? No, Raw footage is stored for 1 year in clients file, only accessed by videographer unless other arrangements are made.

Do you reserve the right to use a video in the future for promotions, contests, etc.? Yes

Is the bride involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the bride have in editing? No not at this time. Any ideas are always welcome.

How long does it take for the bride to get the video? During the prime season months, videos are edited in order of client bookings. A good edited video takes 6 to 12 weeks.

Photography ~ more photographers equals more shot varieties which can capture the unexpected romantic moments. When hiring two photographers have one that specialzes in a  journalistic style & one that does more traditional photos.
