Destination Wedding Favor Ideas

Although your wedding is all about you and your fiancé, there’s no doubt you want your guests to have a great time, too. Favors are a great way to thank your guests for coming, and you don’t need to give the standard Jordan almonds, either. There are plenty of other thoughtful and unique favors you can give your guests to show your appreciation. Consider our favorites when selecting your wedding favors.

1. Cashmere wraps for ladies: Rather than put the favors on tables, consider putting cashmere wraps in baskets at the ceremony or reception site for evening or late afternoon events when the temperature cools down. Not only are wraps a great way to keep warm, but they’re also easy to pack and take home so guests can enjoy them for years to come.

2. Flip flops for dancing: To make sure your guests stay on the dance floor all night, hand out flip flops so everyone can kick off their shoes and enjoy the party. Put two baskets of flip flops –one for the men and one for the ladies - in varying sizes. Your guests will appreciate the thought when they’re dancing the night away comfortably!

3. Souvenirs native to the destination: You want your guests to remember your wedding, so why not present them with a local souvenir? Give your guests mini maracas if you’re having a wedding in Mexico, for example. Not only will these favors look great with the table settings, but they’re also lovely keepsakes.

4. Food: Food is one of the best wedding favors to give because you know your guests won’t leave it behind! Having a beach wedding? Give guests seashell-shaped chocolates. If there’s a food or dessert native to your wedding destination, consider giving that as a wedding favor. Your guests will appreciate your thoughtful (and delicious!) gesture.
