Matron of Honor - Sweet Poem or Quote?
I'm looking for a really sweet poem or quotation that I can use in a card, to ask my oldest and closest friend to be my Matron of Honor. She lives far away, so I am unable to do it in person, and I thought this would be a really special way to do it instead.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Daisy~My wedding is next December and I've already asked my girlfriends with really cute dress cookies that say "will you be my..." I ordered them from and I just had them ship it to my bridesmaids since they all live in different states.

My business is New World Greeting Cards, customized poetry for all why not email me through my website listed on and we can talk about creating a wonderful poem (with or without can just use it anyway you like) for you to ask your closest friend to be your Matron of Honor. If you go to my website and look under portfolio for weddings, you'll see what I have done....
God bless

Hi Daisy,

Here is a suggestion: You've always stood by me, through all my ups and downs. So, on the brightest day of my life, it would means so much to have you stand besire me once again, and by my Matron of Honor.

You hold a very special place in my heart and it would mean so much to me if you would be my matron of honor in my wedding.

Over the years we have shared so much! Laughter, tears, joys and fears. On the most important day of my life I can't imagine you not being a part of it! Will you please be my Matron of Honor?

Hope those help. Let me know if I can help you plan your Honeymoon!

There are some really great books out there that could help you with this. This book is a great resource: "Words for the Wedding" by Wendy Parks and Andrew Chesler. You can find it at most libraries.
