Flowers to match Tiffany Blue Color Scheme?
Hi all, The colors for my wedding are Tiffany Blue, Silver and White. I am having the hardest time figuring out what color flowers look good with that color scheme. I really do not want to have white flowers... are there any other suggestions you may have? I really like exotic flowers too:)

I am doing the same EXACT color scheme & decided to go with white flowers b/c blue ones tend to look purple or like more baby blue. Here's an idea - why don't you do white & green orchids. They are exotic & they don't look too white, plus tend to blend in as just normal floral color. That sounds like a good move...good luck!

You could use a mixture of white, cream and beige for texture. Blue Tweedia is an accent flower that is light blue, not lavender or purple like most "blue" flowers tend to be. Try using crystals or other accents to bring in your color scheme. Look up different handle treatments for bouquets and there are tons of ideas for centerpieces. Feel free to email me for specifics.

Hi Mandy.
Blue can be a difficult choice for brides. There are so many shades of blue, yet not many blue flowers. There is a blue dyed Dendrobium orchid that is very stunning. Used with other light blue flowers and maybe some white orchids as well, you could have a fabulous bouquet.
Please see me at my website, and feel free to contact me from there.

i got married May 2007 and i did a Tiffany Blue wedding, I did all white. the reception was decoratd with Calla Lily's. the Bridesmaids carried Casablanca lily's, my bouquet was casblanca and white roses with stephanotis and the groom's men did all white roses. It was pretty. It didn't take a away from the Tiffany Blue. I would be happy to send you pics

I have to second tweedia - it is such a sweet little flower in the perfect shade of blue. Pale blue hydrangea and light blue bella donna delphinium will also look nice, and generally come free of lavender tones. Eucalyptus is a nice foliage that comes in many varieties and has a blue/green color to it. Finally, you could use dusty miller and brunia to incorporate your silver tones.

You can work in your more exotic flowers in the white range using dendrobium and cymbidium orchids. And if you are interested in adding an accent color, like yellow or light green, your floral palette will really open up...
