What is a nice color to match with orange?
Well I was trying to find a color scheme for my wedding, I really like the color orange so I was thinking about using that color!

There are many colors that look great with orange, I guess it would mostly depend on the shade of orange and season of your wedding. But, here are some colors I like with orange.

Fuchsia, Teal/Turquoise, Blue (royal or navy), Purple, Lime Green

If it's in the fall think brown, copper, gold, rust, plum.

If you want to be bold about it you could go with blue, orange's compliment color. If you want something less striking you could do a deep red or soft pink. Various shades of mocha/tan/brown would look nice as well. All options are beautiful, it just depends on the mood you are going for.

Google image search "orange wedding" it might give you a few ideas...

Orange and Chocolate go great together. You could also pair up different shades of orange. I would go to Home Depot/Lowes to the paint section. Then find the shade of orange you want to use and starting pairing it up with other colors and you can then visually see what you like best.

There are so many that compliment orange, and it depends on the shade.
If you want to see some pretty combos feel free to go to my website and browse the galleries. I have MANY weddings pictures with orange this season.

Popular right now are Chocolate, pinks from pale pastel to HOT vibrant pink. Soft lime green pops, and even accents of purple can be used.
Creme or antique white is a better choice than pure white when using orange tones.

On my opening page there is a cake shown with a gorgeous blend of oranges. the orange tone roses were called Circus and engagement which is a peach tone.

I just officiated a wedding with bright orange. Think sunset on the beach! Orange, Yellow, Browns, tans, and let it "pop" with turquoise. It looked really awesome. The bridal party wore turquoise dresses, turquoise tux's with white shirts, the groom wore white with a turquoise vest and they all of the bouquets were bright tropical flowers of orange, yellows, greens, it was really nice and made great pictures!

I may have a pic on my website. I am not sure as I change them often.

I like a deep dark red with orange, and then some brown. ESPECIALLY since your wedding is in the fall! VERY beautiful!

It depends on the color of orange and the season. My friend got married in the fall and her colors where burnt orange and gold(not a bright gold) more like a tannest yellowish gold color) it really looked nice together.

A great idea is to walk into a paint shop and play around with paint chips. Pick out an orange you really like, and see if you can match it up with a color that works for you. Once you find color combinations you like, just use that as a jump off point to look for things, (dresses, cakes, invitations) in those combinations. Hope that helps!
