Popular songs for bride and groom entrance
I'm looking for songs that are played when the bride and groom are announced as they walk into the reception to the crowd. I have heard the "Love and Marriage" song from Married With Children played at weddings before, but I can't think of any others. Also, when the DJ announces the bride and groom how do they word it?

There is a song called "At Last" by Ella Fitzgerald. This is an old jazz tune. It is gorgeous. Some words are - "At last my love has come along. My lonely days are over, and life is like a song" I happen to love this song. It is very sultry and awesome. See if you can find it to listen. Dj can announce anything you like - Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Brian and Shelley Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Smith, Mr. Brian Smith and Mrs. Shelley Jones, etc. Up to you - that's the beauty of this day.

There are many to choose from here are a couple:
Sirus- Alsn Parsons Project
Crazy train- Ozzy
Rocky theme- Bill Conti
It takes two- artist escapes me
Shout- sam the sham
You can also have a narrated introduction with bedded music explaining how the two of you met. Also many djs can create custom intro music designed especially for the two of you. Cosult with them to see if this is an option they offer!

Some of the ones that I have heard recently that were kinda fun are:

Ants Marching by Dave Matthews
Clocks by Coldplay (Instrumental version)
Sabre Dance (Instrumental)
Theme from Raiders of the Lost Ark
Family Affair by Mary J. Blige
We Are Family - Sister Sledge

Why not choose a song you both really love, something that gets you pumped or up and moving. There's nothing better than walking in to something you really enjoy, rather than a song that has no meaning.

just wanted to let you know....the first poster posted a song (which i love btw)...its by etta james....not ella fitzgerald...

just wanted to let you know in case you do decide to use it.

i however would use a fun upbeat song. My sis and her fiance love football so they came in to the theme for monday night football! it was hilarious

"At Last" is a great song, but I think it's more of a song to be played during the dinner time, rather than a grand entrance song (upbeat). Another song with a similar theme to "At Last" is "Just in Time" by Dean Martin.

I would select a song that is special to you both. There is no right and wrong wedding song. For an announcement, it is basically to welcome the newly weds. The DJ MC should have suggestions for you.
It can be as simple as "And now it is time for the Arrival of our newly weds ____ and _____. Please welcome etc etc
