To Wear Hair Up or Down. That is the question?
Can someone please tell me how I should wear my hair on the day of the wedding.

By the way my fellow Wedding Wirers. I must say things are great lately. I just figured out this website a little better. TO late now. THe wedding is right around the Corner. May 31st .

OK so I was going to wear it up with a few Curls hangingdown. Or Half Up and Half Down. Please suggest some links where I can view and show my hair dresser.

Thank you all so very much.

Congratulations on your wedding. As a wedding planner and a newly wed, my advise is for you to wear your hair the way you feel most comfortable. Don't think you HAVE to wear it up. Browse through magazines and find the style that best fits you and your personality.

Good Luck

My hairstylist told me to look to the red carpet. Why the red carpet? Celebrities have to have their hair look perfect all evening - so no one is going to style their hair for disaster.

So look to the red carpet and find a star with your length of hair (mines Eva Longoria) and google images.

Once you've figured it out, do a search for images on the link above. You'll find a million different styles that celebrity has sported.

Good Luck!

Ask your groom for his input and it might surprise you. My FH prefers me with my hair down, so I am going to wear my hair down for our wedding. Also consider the weather, if you're going to be outdoors or indoor, and your headpiece if you are wearing one... Google wedding hair styles and you could be in front of your computer for hours!

As a photographer, I would recommend hair down. Although updo's can look great, they can sometimes look too severe in photos.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, how exciting! It completely depends on your style for how you want to wear your hair. If you are formal, I would suggest up, but if you are casual...down is definitely not out of the question. Just remember, it is your day, what do you feel comfortable in? Best of luck to you!

this may be bad advise, and you might have an awesome hairsylist...but i was thinking about having my hair down and natural like jen anniston did...but was told that if you are prone to oily hair (have to wash it everyday) or if you plan on dancing the night away to have it up...due to sweat and such. more than likely you will have your hair done hours before the ceremony and have to wear it throughout the evening (more than likely until midnight).

just a thought...oh and factor in if it's windy, humid, does your hair react?

Hi! I don't know what you have decided at this point, but I have seen some stunning up-do's that have a unique twist. Some girls like their hair down and are uncomfortable with it all up for long periods of time. I think a perfect medium is half up half down. It is so clever! It gives a look of innocence as well as sassy/sophistication.
