Sara coordinated our very complicated wedding with ease!

We had a 350 person outdoor wedding during a serious thunderstorm and Sara made it the most magical day ever! She coordinated all of our vendors (tents, generators, lighting, catering, 2 bands, draping, port-a-potties, flowers, buses, everything) and made it an amazing success. Sara can honestly do anything. She's amazing to work with, I've never met someone with so much enthusiasm, and extremely knowledgeable. We just love her.

We had no idea we even needed a wedding planner and I honestly can't imagine what we would have done without her. I would highly recommend her and the rest of the Golden Chic staff to anyone looking for a little help (or a lot of help) with their big day!

Golden Chic Events is a huge life savor! Sara helped sculpt my vision and made it a reality and even more! All of her vendors she recommended were just as easy to work with. From invitations to flowers and linens, etc.

Sara was easy to talk to and was always there to calm me and answer any of my questions throughout the planning process.

When the big day arrived I was more calm than I thought. Actually I was completely calm and just very excited to enjoy the beautiful day. I knew that Golden Chic would take care of all the final decor things, making sure all the vendors arrived and knew where to be and any last minute things. And in the case that something went wrong they would handle it and I never had to sweat! The day went perfectly and I have to give all the credit to Golden Chic for making the day run soo smoothly!

Sara also did two of my older sisters weddings, which I must add also were amazing in their own ways. This just shows that Golden Chic can do any type of wedding from a more formal traditional wedding to a low key informal backyard wedding! Beautiful Job :)

With regard to responsiveness, we never had anything close to a problem.

I'm not even going to get into value because Sara Dahmen and Golden Chic are worth every single penny.

And they will work around your schedule as opposed to the other way around.

Our favorite aspect of working with Golden Chic might have been the vendor selection process. They would come to us with multiple options, give us objective opinions, references and information and then WE would make the final call. Thorough, knowledgeable, and fun. We could not have been happier with the final result or the planning.

Golden Chic were very down-to-earth and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. They will really meet you where you want to be, letting you do whatever you want to do yourself, and helping on other things.

We hired Golden Chic for my daughter's wedding. Sara and Katie were delightful to work with, responsive and professional at all times. My daughter resides in California and had a definite idea of the look she wanted. Sara worked with Jenny to create a design book and the wedding was beautiful and everything Jenny dreamed of. They also gave us a budget for each vendor based on our needs, a timeline and helped us to find and work with vendors, even setting up appointments when Jenny and David were in town. The wedding was beautiful and stress free. I wanted to be a guest at my daughter's wedding and enjoy the day and I was able to thanks to the hard work of Golden Chic who took care of every detail. They are the best and we would use them again when our younger daughter plans her wedding.

Sara is an amazing person! She is very organized and knows all the best vendors in the Milwaukee area. She is a very caring person as well, not only about helping you get your dream wedding but about you and your entire family. We have become lifelong friends, and I will miss getting to see her all the time! I can't recommend her enough! She made my day so stress free and absolutely perfect! LOVE HER!

The most telling review is when all vendors (including the venue) expect those directly referred by Golden Chic, said they wouldn't refer them to potential clients. While they have good recommendations for vendors, they aren't as professional, sophisticated or versed in high-end events as marketed on their site.
