Q & A with the Bride:

What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

Walking from the “staging area” in front of the Inn and down to the barn where our ceremony was held.  If felt right walking down that path and over the hill to see the adorable barn!  Also, the drive to the Inn was perfect.  The area was so pretty, just getting there was part of the enjoyment!

What three details from your wedding were your favorites?

Brad’s gray vans; my great grandmother’s broach used as a hair piece; my necklaces – made by my mom! (Barb Mallon Jewelry on Etsy)

Give us the one moment from your wedding that you can’t stop thinking about.

Getting to the end of the aisle, seeing Brad, and soaking it all in…and then being forced to stop walking because the flower girls were meticulously placing daisies on the ground directly in front of me instead of walking to the bridesmaids! So funny!

If you could offer one piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding, what would it be?

Relax! Easier said than done, I know. Not every detail will be perfect, but if at the end of the day you’re married to your best friend and you had a ton of fun, everything went the way it should have. None of your guests will notice that bunting went up in the wrong spot or they served lemonade instead of tea!
