Elegant and chic are the words we would use to describe the Spring 2012 Winnie Couture collection. The A-line, trumpet and ball gown silhouettes were made from laces, tulle and satin and embellished with beading and embroidery. Here are five looks we think you’ll love too:
Classic lace: This fit-to-flare gown in lace has a sweetheart neckline and a crystal band at the waist.
Ball Gown: Brides looking for a classic formal ball gown should try on this duchess satin sweetheart strapless gown. The bodice is ruched and at the dropped waist is a crystal adornment. You can see the detail better in the photo on the left.
Beautiful Embroidery: The sweetheart neckline on this strapless fit-to-flare gown is embroidered with silver thread in an intricate pattern that follows around the back.
Draping and Embroidery: We just love draped tulle and this gown is on our top five list not just because of the draping but also because of the beautiful silver embroidery on the waist and bodice. It’s quite regal.
Tulle Flowers: By now you’re very familiar with the 3-D flower trend this season — we’ll do a story on it next week –but these three dimensional blooms aren’t as pronounced as some of the others we’ve seen. Swirls of tulle with crystal centers create these roses.
