Seasonal Summer Bouquets

Posted by Caitlin on Jun 04, 2013

With the official start of summer only three weeks away, we wanted to inspire you with a few of this summer’s seasonal blooms. Luckily for those June, July and August brides–more flowers are in bloom during the summer than any other season, which means max amount of options! Imagine those clear, blue skies and warm, sunny weather filled with an array of floral scents, and pick between colors like yellow, green and purple that pay homage to this time of year. Here’s what made it on our top 5 list:

1. Daisy

Daises come in a variety of colors. Consider choosing a neutral bridesmaid dress such a gray and add a pop of color like yellow as pictured below.

2. Lavender

Walk down the aisle with lavender’s unique fragrance. No perfume needed!

3. Hydrangea

One reason why hydrangea is so popular: its flowers come in bunches. Which means that one stem can go a long way!

4. Orchid (and Citrus)

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! And add them to a bouquet filled with lilies, anthuriums and orchids.

5. Baby’s Breath

Baby’s breath may be light and airy, but also traditional. Add a bit a romance with dusty miller leaves.
