As we say good bye to summer and usher in another fall, we welcome the brilliant colors and earth tones which offer a vast variety of options for couples getting married in the fall months.
Typically, the fall months are among the most popular wedding months, due to the consistent mild temperature and fall foliage, which New Jersey, New York and the tri-state area has plenty of.

Now, let’s talk about my favorite thing…the details. As I mentioned before, the colors of our friends wedding were two tones of green with yellow. They did an amazing job by selecting just the right tones of green and yellow for their country wedding.
The following is what I am very passionate about and that’s cakes! The cake table was sweet and classic. Our friends focused more on flavor and they nailed it! They had marionberry or peach filling with orange cake. This was my first time tasting orange cake and it was out of this world. The cake was made by Mike’s Amazing Cakes, one of the most famous bakers in WA State.
Their cake topper was the initial of the groom’s last name.
After their first kiss, then they were officially announced by the officiant as Mr. and Mrs. in front of their friends and family.
Since the wedding was held outside, the guests were mobilized inside the Pickering Barn. The receiving line was short, but sweet. The guests only got to say hello to the bride and groom; no need for long waits at the receiving line.
What a beautiful wedding!
We’re so excited to share one of our most recent weddings with you. Laura and Jeff were an amazing duo to work with, and each had a sophisticated yet unpretentious eye for design all on their own. These pictures, captured by the lovely Tracy Autem, show off some of our favorite details of the night.
Here are the things that really made this wedding hit the mark:
